A thunderstorm flashes outside, the same demon with purple hair and intimidating, piercing eyes reads the school newspaper, looking at the picture of the German suplex, The demon fixes his clothes in the mirror, "So today, We preform the Ritual for new students to summon their familiars" he says out loud, He than glared at the mirror, "you have better be prepare nanako" the mirror breaks when he says the name.

Suddenly lightning went off and a figure with long blazing crimson hair sat in it, which seemed to be female

Only the most worthy will inherit this seat of Sovereignty, But who will it be?

An older women with brown hair was ruffling the girl with the red crimson hair, The two in a room full of boxes. She smiled at her, "your such a good girl, you always do as your told" the women praises her, Nanako laughs as she smiles, A older man with to also have brown haor appeared in the room, He gestures to the boxes behind him, "hey nanako, would you be a sport and carry these for me?" He asks the young girl.  "Okay daddy!" She said happily. 

The man appears in room full of trash, "and after that, would you mind cleaning this up?" He asks with his hands together  "You got it!" Nanako said happily as she held a broom and dust pan, The women appears in the bathroom, "Could you clean the bathroom too?" She asks "Anything for you!" Nanako said happily as she held a plunger, The man appears and pats her on the head, "who's my good girl!" He praises her. 

The two adults stand in front of the young child, "on that note" he says confusing her " would you mind if we sold you off to a demon?" They ask "Sure?..." the young girl stops herself as an intimidating demon replace where her parents were standing, A evil aura appearing around him who hummed

"No way!!" nanako yells as she wakes up from the dream.

The sun shines into her room. She stared up at the ceiling with dread on her face. She sits up, "what the?.....oh...that's right, I..." she says as she realized she was sold off, The bedroom door opened to reveal Sullivan, "good morning, sunshine! How's my precious little  nugget of a granddaughter today, your adoring grandpa has arrived!" He greets her as he waving, he also seemed to have his fingers in bandages for some reason

This is Sullivan, he is a demon

"Ah!....G-Good morning, mr-ah...I'm mean...grandpa?" Nanako greeted her demon grandfather, In her disheveled appearance, Sparkles surround him as he smiles, "oh~ i just love how that name sounds~" he gushed at being called grandpa, Nanako looked at him with a concerning smile, 'I've recently become the granddaughter of a demon' she thought before dread came over her. 

Nanako kizuki, fourteen years old. She is a pitiful young girl who's been sold of to a demon by her idiot parents

The two were now sitting at a table, Opera placed a bowl which contained some prickly greens, bumpy purples, and big mushrooms in front of Sullivan, nanako had a whole feast in front of her.  "Did you sleep well?" Sullivan asked from his horned and winged chair  "Ah, yes" she answered him from her own "No need to hold back, eat as much as you like, you're still a growing girl" he told her.  "Thank you" she said, looking away from him to the food in front of her 'The cuisine in the nether world takes a little courage to try, but turns out it's really good!!' She thought as she happily took a bite out of a pink worm, if you had to compare it to human food, it would probably be like ham, or any other meat 'This might actually be the first time I've ever been able to savour a meal!' She thought with a blissful expression on her face

She then began eating two drumsticks, 'this is delicious~ I need  to pack it In while I still can!..' she moves on to a giant bread circle than a weird sandwich and another drumstick, Opera handed the girl a cup that had a black aura coming out of it, "hell grey tea" he told her

"T-Thank you so much ill try it" she thanked them as she grabbed the tea, she takes a sip of it with a smile   "Ready for your first day of class?~" Sullivan asked out of the blue, making nanako spit the tea in surprise.

Indeed, nanako is now attending the prestigious demon school known as babyls, as Sullivan's granddaughter

Nanako looked down in her lap, nervous on high as she sweat, 'I-I do i have to?!!....what if the demons figure out that I'm human?!?...they'll turn me into a snack!' She thought as she imagined scary demons coming to eat her, She looked up from her lap to at Sullivan, "E-erm, can we talk please?" she told him, Sullivan looked at her with a closed-eyed smile, "yes?" He asked

"It's about the school.." she slowly starts, but was kindly interrupted by the demon"Sure, but first" Sullivan said before turning to look at Opera. "Right" he said as they snapped their fingers, A curtain rises up to reveal presents, books, flowers, and even a pink uniform coat "Lookie here! I splurged to celebrate your first day of school~" Chibi Sullivan told her as he stood gesturing to the items, She was surprised, "this is all for me?" She asked which he hummed in response " but you already gave me so much yesterday"She says as she watches the chibi demon spin around happily.

The girl has a flashback when Sullivan poofed her into the pink demon uniform along with the items for school. "Oh~ That's was just to celebrating getting my first granddaughter!" Chibi Sullivan explained to her, He points to the other presents, "this is to celebrate to your starting school" he explained.

Nanako reeled back in shock, 'helicopter parent alert!!' Returning to normal, Sullivan holds up an embroidery piece, "tada! Opera and I even added someembroidery! Well what do you think?" He asked her for her approval, it was her name, She awkwardly smiled, "I-it's beautiful...thank you" she told him.

"I'm not used to doing embroidery, so it was quite intricate, But it was so much fun!" He told her as he held up his hand. His were fingers wrapped in bandages from the embroidery attempt, Nanako's eyes widen at the sight of Sullivan's hands, Chibi Sullivan rummaged behind the pink cloak, "ah, and this!" He said as he pulled a yellow demon clock out. " here is your hell raiser clock, so you can get up in the morning to be on time" he said as the clock opened it's beak and let out a demonic sound.

The poor girl sweatdrop as she looked at the clock, Sparkles appeared around normal Sullivan "So, you wanted to talk?" He asked remembering she wanted to talk to him, She snapped out of it and looked to the side, "right..so....about school.." she stammers with her words.

"What about school~?" She looked at him as she sweats, "I-It's just that.."

"It's just what? Go on~?"

Nanako couldn't being herself to say it, the joy on the demon's face was too much for her to tear it away from him "I just...can't wait for it..." she told him in smiling sleepily while hiding her defeat

Yes, nanako kizuki is a total pushover

Later she stood in front of the gates of the mansion, "okay , I'm off now, bye" she waved to Sullivan and Opera, Walking away with her nerves going crazy. Sullivan waved behind her, " have a good day granddaughter~!" He said to her,"Please be careful" Opera called after the young woman, As nanako was far enough away, Sullivan pulled out a camera, "now we tail her, I have to get her first walk to school on video~" he said as he starts to walk behind her.

Opera grabbed him with his hand and griped the fur on Sullivan's coat,"I'm afraid you'll be working from home today sir" they told told him as they dragged the Chibi demon back into the house. "Let me go! Opera wait!" He whined

Time Skip

Nanako was walking the road to the school, releasing a sigh as she tries to calm her nerves. "Eat their souls, blood and meat~ without leaving anything behind~" Nanako jumped as a in fright, She looked up to see the other students flying above her, singing the school song from the entrance ceremony, Trying to ignore the chilling song, she continued her walked to the school.

Students starting landing and greeting " morning" the same girl with the long orange hair greyed as she walked towards the entrance pass three girls "good morning class president, how are you today?" They said in sync "The breeze feels lovely this morning wouldn't you agree?" The one eyed alien looking girl asks

The girl walks towards the four student council standing outside" I don't even know what to do" the blond one smiled while the other two laugh " so what happened next?"

" come on you guys" the guy with classes exclaimed"No ideal chit chat!" The woman snapped "Yes ma'am!" They said in unison all stood straight " you are all demons, speak in a tone that intimidates the listener! That means you need to project! Try again!" She lectured sternly, They all flinched " yes ma'am! Good morning! Good morning everyone!"

"Continue" she said then walked away "GoodMorning! Good morning Everyone, good morning!" Four students were greeting everyone at the gate.

" today's the familiar summoning ritual"one student spoke to his friend as they walked in "I wonder what minds gonna be"

" I'm so excited!" A girl says, Nanako hugged her bag as she walked up to the gate of the school, she looked at the students yelling outside the gate, 'maybe they're from the student council?' She thought to herself in question, She looked back to in front with an awkward smile on her face, 'what ever I do, I can not stand out' she told herself as she continued walking before a certain someone appeared "Hello and Good morning nanako! I've been waiting for you for since six hours and six minutes!" A sparkling Asmodeus said to the girl with a closed-eyes smile.

She looked at him a bit surprised, "oh good morning, Asmodeus" she greeted him back. Than her eyes widen in shock, "wait, six hours?!" She asked in shock. Asmodeus kneels in front of her, "yes indeed, within the pitch black Of the witching hour"

" there's no need to be doing things like that! Did you get enough sleep?" She asked concerned and a little taken back, which cause Asmodeus to place a hand over his mouth, staring at her with love-struck affectionate in his eyes "Are you worried about me? Oh my beloved! I'm touched beyond words! They bring me such joy!"

"B-but I-I didnt do anything, I'm just more worried about your health-" Asmodeus grabbed a strand of her long crimson hair and gently kissed it "Please don't be to concerned! Just getting to look at your beautiful face gives me more than enough energy for the day." She blushed and turned to continue walking "Anyways Asmodeus, it's not necessary for you to have to wait six hours for me at school." She repeated

The pink hair demon looked up at her, " oh is that so.." he said, than he gave her another closed-eyed smile, " and please just call me 'Azz'!" He said with A faint blush appears on her cheeks " let's skip the formalities yes?"

"Azz- huh?" She said, as if she was testing out the name " okay that's fine" she smiled, Asmodeus stood back up, "yes! May I carry your bag!" He insist, Nanako rose a hand in the manner for him to stop, "no need, it's fine, really!" She told him as students behind spoke about them

"It's the honour student"

"Have you seen the newspaper extra?"

" I guess she really did make the head of the class her servant!"

Time Skip

' so much for not standing out....' The two students were walking around inside the school. Nanako looked over at Asmodeus "So can you tell me where we're go again?" She asked him. "Well first of all, mistress, you and I are in the same group" the pink haired demon told her, but it confused her "Really we are?"

"That's right, they'll decide the hundred and sixty three new students into a certain amount of groups, and we'll practice and prepare until classes begin" Asmodeus explained to her " they can't just happen all at once"

"I see" she said as she sweatdrop, not really understanding but didn't want to question it further, The two were suddenly outside, walking to a different part of the school. Asmodeus helped nanako up a large step, "today's we're performing the familiar summoning ritual, and now, to the familiars hall" he told her. "Familiars?" She looked at him confused "Its a tradition here at Babyls' after entering the school, each student summons a magical beast and makes it their subordinate"

" and that makes it a familiar?" Nanako asked

" the students rank is determined to whichever beast they're able to summon, climbing those ranks leads to academic success here, the higher they climb, the better they do" he stated, Nanako smiled, " oh I get, that sounds so cool!" she said as the demon smiled back at her. ' though I wonder if familiars also eat humans?' She thought as the two walked to the classroom.

Asmodeus opened the door for the two of them. There was good amount of students inside. "Wow..this is sort of nerve racking" she spoke to Asmodeus " these results will also determine what class the school places you in" he added

"That's good to know" she comments, A familiar female blond demon looked at Nanako and A smile and a blush on her face as she recognized her. "Incidentally, our guide is quite famous" Asmodeus said to the girl, The female demon has a flash back to when the duo had their fight on the first day, Remembering how Nanako saved her from the fire sword of Asmodeus, She gathers his courage and walks up the the Nanako girl. "Although he's strict and terrifying.."

"Nanako--" Everyone was cut off as the doors to the classroom slammed opened. Revealing the demon with the purple hair and piercing eyes, For some reason, it felt like the demon was staring right at Nanako. 'Ah, I'm guessing that's him' she thought as she watched him walk in. "Silence" was all he said as he walked in, Walking to the front, everyone noticed he was holding the school newspaper. "I am Naberius Kalego, and I will be my advisor" he introduced himself to everyone. "I am the soul Permanent leader Of this ritual, and why? Because I maintain dignity and at all times, I will decide whether your deposable trash, or remotely useful trash, but trash either way" he told the whole group with a piercing expression.

He than walked towards our main character "for example, if trash uses the spotlight their grandfather gave them to invoke a spell, then had the audacity to cause a huge uproar afterward on the same day, that be immediate grounds for expulsion" he said to everyone, but it was mostly for the human in front of him, Nanako looked up him with a feared smile. Trying her best to hide how scared she was to the teacher.

Her body slightly shivered as Kalego stepped away from her. "Also if said trash Attempted to hit a teacher during the entrance ceremony, that too is immediately counts grounds for dismissal" he says crushing the paper in his hand, then addressed to the whole room. " I will instantly and personally expel any failures, so let this be a warning

Two of the three girls from before spoke

"I think the severity Is a big part of his charm" the one eyed alien girl says

Kalego pulled out a screen that was pink and covered in flowers, birds, and fruit, "Be Silence" he told everyone as the screen started to play "Another familiar summoning course! It's super easy watch~!!

One, draw a circle in blood on some parchment! Two, you head into the Magic circle with said parchment Three, hold the parchment right over the candle in the circle centre, four, the smoke will start to take take form and your familiar will appear! Okay! Now we're all going to -" the character on the screen was interrupted by Kalego smacking down the screen with his demon strength "that's Enough explanation" he said in an annoyed tone.

"That seemed uncalled for.." a light brown haired student uttered

"I guess he doesn't think that little lesson guide Is cute at all..." the green skinned demon sweat dropped, Kalego held up a parchment, "it is imperative that you only use the parchment with my ceil on it, I can tell immediately if it's fake" A fable demon that looked like a dragon held up his hand, "um E-Excuse me, I-is this going to be dangerous?" She asked the teacher " dumb question! You will be summoning a subordinate and making it serve you, that's exactly what familiars are, and should a familiar ever disobey it's master.." he said before gripping the screen into his hand, causing an explosion to go off.

When the smoked cleared, it showed that Kalego had put a hole through the screen, "there will be punishment, thats just how deeply the blood pact between you is" he finishes, He walked passed Nanako "make sure you lot a suitably prepared" he told everyone, He glared at the crimson haired girl as he walked by her 'He's so scary' she thought as she tried her best not to shiver in fear. "Line up, in an orderly fashion!" Kalego told everyone, standing in front of the magic circle.

Asmodeus looked at him with a bit of a glare, "that mans not even trying to hide his animosity" Nanako nods in agreement "yeah..but at all.." she mutters, He turned to her with an eager look "I'll gladly charge him if you give me the order!" "N-no, that won't be necessary and beside I would never order to do something like that" she said trying to keep Asmodeus form doing anything stupid. "Oh very well...." He then looked gloomy.

"Both of you! Get in line this minute!" Kalego yelled at them

The girl with the blond hair went next, holding her parchment ready 'Here we go...'

She then places it over the candle and it starts to burn, making the smoke rise and take shape 'come to me...my familiar!'

It took shape revealing an adorable creature made of smoke with wings "Oh wow!" She gushed while students talked " next up" kalego said as he wrote down on his floating clipboard "Took you long enough time to shine~" the one eyed alien girl walked past" wow, this is amazing" Nanako looked at all the familiars that her classmates were getting in wonder and awe

"It's Amsodeus's turn" she heard someone say, making her look over in his direction, when she did his eyes happened to meet hers, making him blush a little before clearing his throat trying to keep his cool composure intacted, He bit into his thumb and drew on the parchment, He held the paper above the flame, watching it turned into smoke, A giant gorgon snake with wings and flames on the end of it's tail wraps itself around the demon.

Nanako looked at the pink hair demon in amazement, that he could make such a creature his familiar, A faint blush appears on her face as she looked at him and the snake. Asmodeus turned to Nanako with a smile, "see mistress!" The girl ran up to him with a big smile on her face, "t-that was totally amazing, Azz! You're both so cool!" She praises him "your kindness humbled us" he thanks her as he bowed, his familiar doing the same. 'A Gorgon Snake, i guess I'm not surprised Considering Asmodeus family lineage' Kalego thought as a pen and paper floated next to him writing

"But, this will look like a puppy compared to the familiar your about to summoned" Asmodeus said with a smile, making the girl dread her summoning.

'This much power and He lost to Nanako, That's hard to believe...however..'

"I wouldn't have much faith in me.." Nanako said with an awkward smile. 'We shall see soon enough' Kalego narrowed his eyes at her "Your next Nanako.."

"Y-Yes sir!" Nanako walked into the magic circle. Holding the parchment closed to her chest as she looked at the candle in worry.

"Hey, it's nanako's turn"

"the honor student!"

"I wonder What she's gonna summon?"

Dread came over the girl, 'Everyone's staring...the problem is I don't have any magical power...cause I'm just a human.....' she thought as she looked to the side. Hesitantly, she bit into her thumb and drew on the parchment, She placed the parchment above the flame, 'he said if I fail ill be expelled' she thought sadly, But just then a strange feeling started wrapping around her whole body 'But...its ok because I have grandpa and Opera! And Asmodeus now too, so I don't have to worry about leaving and no matter what I plan on staying right here!' She thought happily as she giggled

"That smiles no joke"

"She'll crush this"

"You'll do splendid Nanako!" Azz and his familiar appeared behind her

However Kalego looked at her with a disdain expression' what nerve, smirking like that, she looks just like him, that reckless Obnoxious Demon with no regard for others, she embodies the three main things I fully despise, Just like mr random that dumbass chair demon, I can't begin to count all things I went through cause of that Kur, On a whim he docked my pay! forced that stupid lesson guide on me! He even crashed the ceremony!' Kalego thought as he thought bad about the headmaster, then Nanako " But I am the one in charge of the familiar summoning ritual! If she screws up even a little bit I'll take delight in expelling your precious little granddaughter!"he watched the girl smile happily as the parchment burned.

Summoning. The ritual in which demons summons magical beasts and make them their familiars. It is also the ritual in which humans summon demons and make them their familiars.

Just then inside nanako's body, there was a pulse with a reddish, pink arua, along with the sound of a ringing

" huh?" Nanako reacted to the sound in confused, but before she could look around, Nanako's parchment started to a bright purple, startling everyone in the room.

Ironically The parchment had Kalego's seal on it....and nanako is a human. Which means..

As the light died down, purple fire started to appear from the ground "There it is" Nanako said as she waited for the flames to died down. "So This is..my fami-" she stopped when the top half of Kalego's body is revealed from the flames "liar?—-" The two stared at each other and the other students looked over at their teacher, only to see half his body through a portal, Kalego looked down, only to find himself through a portal.

The two panic as they didn't know what was going on.

Which means, much to his rage and horror, The demon Kalego, was summoned by the human Nanako to be her familiar

"You fuggling idiot! What the hell did you do?!" Kalego yelled at her " I-I have no idea sir I'm really sorry!-" she tried to explain herself, but was cut off by the teacher.  "Enough! Stop the summoning, right now!!" He yelled at her "Y-Yes sir!" The girl ran over to her teacher's lower half and tried to pull him out of the portal, Kalego yells in pain, "they're tearing! You'll rip them off!"  The girl looked over at the top half of her teacher, "you fool! Your supposed to push when this happens!" He yelled at her as he glared.

  "Y-yes sir" she apologized as she starts to push him through the portal "No! Not my legs stupid! Come. Back over here and push my head-" he was cut off as his body was pushed through the portal.  "Oh no!-" Smoke appeared around Kalego's body, Nanako coughed as the smoke disappeared, "s-sir are you okay?!" She called out to her teacher, Dread came over her as she looked at him, Everyone stared at their teacher with shock expressions.  

Where the demon was once standing, now  flew a tiny fluffy creature with Kalego's bang.

The creature and Nanako stared at each other, " huh?!" Shock came over the girl as the creature was confused, It looked down at its paws than messed with its fluffy stomach, It looked back up at the girl, before it fell to the ground. The realization was too much for the creature. "Oh no!" Nanako yelled in worry  'inconceivable...How could this be...!' Kalego thought as he felt so much dread. 

"Say something professor! Are you okay?! Wait, are you our professor?! " Nanako asked in worry, Asmodeus walked up behind the girl, "Nanako" he said her name to grab her attention.  She looked at him in concern, "Azz something terrible just happened-" she was cut off as the pink hair demon started to cry.  "I'm moved beyond word!" He said through tears

"what?!" She exclaimed

"Miraculous, you managed to make kalego your familiar! He said as he bowed to her "Eh?!" She said in shock as the demon students chatted

"A demon summoning a demon?!"

"No way!"

"That's the first time!"

"Amazing!" The blonde girl demon said in amazement. 

Asmodeus stood up, a blush on his face as he held a fist up "kalego's attitude towards you was hostile, I knew you were secretly enraged, this'll show him good!You truly are an amazing demon my lady, to think my soulmate was someone as perfect as this!!!!!!"  He exclaimed blushing profusely "No, no, no! You've got it all wrong! It was an accident, I mean.." Nanako shook her hands as she tried to think of reason on how this happened, Kalego, now in his familiar form, stood up, "inconceivable...me....me?! A common familiar!?!?" His voice echoed in rage " you can not be serious! Nullify this contract immediately!"He yelled as He flew towards her in a threatening manner, " you won't like the alternative-" before he could harm her, An electric shock was thrown at him, causing him to fall down at her feet.  "Ooh!"

" professor!" She exclaimed as the little bird fell to the floor

"is that the punishment?!"

" awesome!"

"So, familiar can't disobey their masters"  Nanako  in complete shock at what had happened to Kalego and the comments from the students. 

Asmodeus started to cry again, "yet again I am Slain!"

"But why?!" Nanako cried

Time Skip

Sullivan's laughter is heard from outside the mansion, Both nanako and Kalego both sat in front of the demon. Look of dread we're on both their faces.  "oh me oh my, no one in the history of the never world has ever summoned a demon before!" He said as he waved a hand in front of him "Nullify the contract? Not happening! Since this ritual locks you in for a year! If you try to undo it by force you'll probably both die, ha ha ha!" Sullivan laughed. 

"But if you still try.." before continuing he moves closer to Kalego's face with his happy smile still on his face but there was something else with it, in a low voice he whispered for only Kalegoto hear, "I will make sure that, before my precious granddaughter is harmed, you fall first."Kalego fell backwards into shock.

Nanako looked over at him in worry as her grandpa moved away humming to himself "not again!" She yelled.

Unable to nullify the contract, nanako kizuki, Age fourteen, acquired a familiar on her first day

'A Familiar...Me...me...' Kalego thought in dread. 

Kalego ended up bed ridden due to shock, and Nanako's rank was never determined, As a result

On the news board was the story of the event

Nanakos notaries spread even further She became known as the demon who made another demon her familiar

"I heard she turned kalego into her familiar!" One demon whispered to another

" how do you even do that?!"

"that's insane!"

The same girl with the white hair walked by and heard they're conversation and clenched both her hands

Elsewhere

A woman with long white hairs was aweing the picture of familiar kalego " he's,so cute~" She then flinched and hid the paper as two demons walked by

" hey did you hear what happened recently?"

" yes it's totally unpresidented"

She sighed in relief

Meanwhile

Nanako and Asmodeus walked together and a dread look appeared on her face when she heard people talking about the incident 'everyones focused on me...this wasn't supposed to happen' she then hid behind azz ' I can't stand out!...'

"It's right this way nanako." Asmodeus said walking down the hallway with her " right...so are we uh... going to get our textbooks?" she asked sheepishly, "Yes, with subjects of demon basics, curses, pharmaceutics, and the art of torture! I can't wait what about you!" Asmodeus gleamed with excited to learn those subjects. "Hahaha....yeah me neither." she nervously laughed 'I just can't stand out... ' nanako thought before Asmodeus got in front of her and began yelling at students that were in the hall, "You lot! What do you think you're doing? Make way for lady nanako!",

"Azz! It's okay! You really don't have to do this!" Before she could stop him, he summons his familiar " didn't I say make way for my beloved?! ill turn you to ash!...." chases the three male students away"There it's all clear for you my soulmate," He smiles happily as he shows the empty hallway."The path is now open. Let us proceed." She sighed continuing to walk to the room to fetch both textbooks ' just try and blend in...blend in or your dead..'

After a few minutes of walking you reached the classroom "Oh, this must be it." Nanako said reaching for the door before hearing a scream inside the room, Asmodeus protectively stretches his arm out. "Wait There's something going on in there." He says becoming protective " rolling!~ rolling!~ rooollling!" The door opens with a bang and a big green ball rolls out at a fast speed hitting a pile of boxes that have been stacked, As the ball hit the boxes one flew towards her and with one sharp hand movement Asmodeus hit the box away before it landed on her " umm...are you alright?" She asked the person in the ,mess

"Strike!" A green-haired demon girl emerges from the ball, or she was the ball "It's a girl.."
