It has been a day when (Y/N) Hopkins had transferred to this school. A lot of the students, including Yatsuhashi, was already on the verge of beating him up, but at least he was saved by the math teacher.

Glynda had showed him the rest of the school grounds. They stopped by the fountain, Harrington House, the gym, the football field and the autoshop.

He had met two people on his way; Mercury Black and Oscar pine. They are somewhat cool people and they didn't punch him at first sight.

Mercury found Hopkins interesting while Oscar is just a feminine coward who can't even protect himself in a fight. A real wimp (Y/N) had thoughted about him. Nevertheless, he didn't really care about it.

Headmaster Ozpin asked young boy Hopkins for a walk in the school, wanting to know how the 15 year old boy had been for his first night in Beacon.

"You seem to be making yourself quite comfortable here, my boy." Ozpin said.

"I'm just trying to fit in." (Y/N) replied.

"By fighting? By making nuisance of yourself?" Ozpin stopped and turned to (Y/N) as the latter too stopped walking. "That is not the Beacon way, boy." He assured. (Y/N) then put a hand on his forehead.

"Yeah you could've fooled me..."

"What??" The headmaster exclaimed.

"I said you could have fooled me. This place is full of bullies and maniacs." (Y/N) stated.

"Nonsense!" Ozpin disagreed of what (Y/N) said and continue to walk, while the boy followed. "That's just school spirit. High jinks. Why, in my day, we felt nothing of castrating the new boys."

Ozpin turned back to him. "I want you to stop this nonsense, Hopkins. I want you to behave yourself. You might learn something."

"Fine." (Y/N) said. "Can i go now? Sir."

"On your way." Ozpin gestured and walk off.

(Y/N) turned around to go back inside the main building, but he was stopped when Fox alistair confronted him by the door, with a slingshot in his hand.

"Hey - I saw you sucking up to the Headmaster." Fox said.

"What? Shut up." (Y/N) replied.

"Screw you new kid! This is what we do to teachers' pets around here." Fox aimed his slingshot to (Y/N) and was about to fire a pebble at him.

"You better not-" Fox releases the strap as the pebble flew straight to (Y/N)'s face and hit is forehead. "OW!" Fox let out a laugh as (Y/N) gritted his teeth and starts to chase him.

"Come here you little shit!" He shouted.

"Yeah, come and get me!" Fox taunted. Fox jumps over a fence and dropped down with (Y/N) pursuing him. "You're a wimp, new kid." He taunted again.

(Y/N) also jump over the fence and chased Fox across the schoolyard. Turning around from the pathway, he saw Fox knocking over Oscar with his books flying around him. Oscar was dropped to the ground, but managed to get up.

(Y/N) stops by and check on him. "You okay?"

"Yeah, i'm good." Oscar said. "He ran towards the fountain." He pointed to where fox was running at and (Y/N) didn't think twice and ran after him.

Fox turns right which leads to the auto shop. When (Y/N) turned right too, he saw Fox going inside the auto shop with Nolan porfilio blocking the entrance.

"I'll get him!" Nolan said and charges at (Y/N) as the gate entrance closes.

(Y/N) saw a nearby trash can by his side, which gets him an idea. As soon as Nolan comes close to him, (Y/N) send a punch to the face and grabbed the neck of his shirt. With his strength, (Y/N) dragged Nolan to the trash can and stuffed him in.

"And stay there!" (Y/N) said before heading towards the gate, leaving the incapacitated Nolan on the trash bin.

(Y/N) uses both of his hands to open the gate. As it opens, he sees Fox and continue on his pursuit. Fox just laughs and ran inside to the auto shop. "What'cha gonna do?" He taunted.

(Y/N) let out a growl, chasing Fox deep in the auto shop. Brawnz Ni then intervened to halt him off. (Y/N) took two hits from Brawnz' punches while blocking the rest. The former counterattacked, sending three hits to the face, and two on his chest.

Brawnz held his chest in pain as (Y/N) send one heavy punch to his left cheek, making the former dropped to the ground with a hard thud.

(Y/N) made it infront of a closed gate with the words 'Beacon academy', he thought that Fox and his lackeys closed them to prevent (Y/N) for chasing the former. Thankfully, the gate wasn't locked as (Y/N) opened them with ease.

When he opened the gate, he saw Roy stallion readied himself as Fox stood beside him. "Get the new kid! Beat him down!" He said while closing another gate, leaving (Y/N) with Roy.

Not wanting to waste time, (Y/N) pulled out one of his spare firecrackers that he made and throw it at Roy.

The latter didn't react fast enough as he got hit by the firecracker, which stuns him. This gave (Y/N) the opportunity as he charge forward and send a kick to the chest, launching Roy to one of the walls and then dropped down to the ground. He then opens the second garage door and then two more of Fox's lackeys charge to him.

(Y/N) knew he couldn't fight two guys at once, so he used his last firecracker and throw it to the two. One of them was knocked out, while the other was incapacitated. (Y/N) quickly finished him off with two punches to the face.

With all of Fox's bodyguards down, it was only him left that (Y/N) had to face. The latter saw him on take refuge on top of a platform made out of scrap wood and old barrels. Fox noticed this and kick the ladder down, so that (Y/N) can't use it.

"You can't reach me up here, Moron!" Fox taunted as he aims his slingshot at (Y/N).

The latter was quick to avoid some of the shots, with atleast 2-3 pebbles hitting (Y/N)'s body. (Y/N) then used one of the trash can lids to block of the pebble shots. He waited until Fox reloaded another pebble, which he then throws the lid at Fox.

Fox stumbled, but he was still standing and continue to shoot pebbles at (Y/N). (Y/N) saw a brick behind him and picked it up. When he was trying to aim it, Fox quickly shoots him with his slingshot, unabling (Y/N) to throw the brick.

(Y/N) took cover behind a trash can, avoiding the pebble shots. After 3-4 shots, (Y/N) got out of his cover and threw the brick at Fox.

Though fox was still standing on his feet, continue to fire his slingshot. (Y/N) knew he needed to throw one more object to bring him down. There was another nearby trashcan, still having the lid on it. Grabbing the lid, he used it to block the incoming pebbles until he gets to throw the lid towards Fox.

After Fox got hit three times, the platform he was on crumbles as the students falls to the ground with a hard thud, knocking him out.

(Y/N) walks over to him with a smirk. He then kicks fox to the face. "That's what you get for messing with me." He said. (Y/N) then saw Fox's slingshot near him.

"And I'm gonna take this, thank you very much." He grabs the slingshot as his prize and walked away from the scene, leaving Fox and the other bullies on the ground.

While walking, (Y/N) inspected the wooden slingshot as he can do some interesting things with it.

Some hours later

(Y/N) had used the slingshot for quite a while now. Most of them was him defending himself from his enemies since he don't bother fighting on CQC. Mercury notice this and was curious on how good is the Hopkins boy with that slingshot.

He'll probably talk to him later and focus on his own ideas of his school. The grey haired students saw Oscar sitting on the dorm's couch. He decide to go there and told him about his plan of taking over the school.

Now Oscar wasn't a big fan of it, but he just somehow wings with it, either because he found Mercury to be a bit scary or he is just weak to stand up for himself.

"So it's a good idea, right?" Mercury asked the pink-shirted farm boy, patting his left arm.

Oscar was nervous about it but he nodded. "Y-Yeah, Ok, alright sure..." He inhaled a bit. "I'll do it."

Mercury looked behind him and by the doorway was (Y/N) Hopkins himself. He smirked and greeted the boy. "Hey man, what's going on?" Oscar turned to him as well.

"Not much." (Y/N) replied since all he did through the hours was defending himself from bullies, focus on his classes and test out the slingshot.

"Well i was just telling Piney here about my idea to take over the school." He then stands up from the couch. "I mean, my plan for 'us' to take over the school."

"What plan?" (Y/N) asked, curious about Mercury's plan.

"Don't worry (Y/N). It's just a little something i came up with." Mercury leaned forward, resting both of his arms on the couch. "It's sink or swim, my friend. And if you're good at swimming, you've got to let the losers drown."

"Look, why don't you guys leave the thinking up to me, okay?" He says, standing back up.

"What..?" (Y/N) asked in disbelief.

"What?" Mercury turned to (Y/N) again. "What. what? Durr. Can't you say anything else?" He mocked him and let out some chuckles until turning back to Oscar, sitting back next to him. "You know what, Piney, you were right. (Y/N) is pretty dumb."

(Y/N) had a surprised look as he head towards Oscar. "What'd you say about me??"

Oscar perked up from the couch as he tries to defuse the angry (Y/N). "Whoa, nothing, no, no, no! All i said was that you had to be pretty dumb to get expelled from so many schools, that's all." Oscar laughs nervously after that.

Mercury smirked and stand back up from the couch. "Relax, (Y/N). All he said was that you must be dumb, or maybe you're all messed up because you came from a broken home."

"WHAT'D YOU SAY ABOUT ME, DWARF??" (Y/N) shouted at Oscar with a pissed off look, stomping to the Farmboy, but Mercury stops him.

"Come on, dude. Chill."

"No, nonono no no. Mercury's taking everything out of context, man." Oscar said.

Mercury turned his head to Oscar with a slight shock expression. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't lie, Piney. DON'T you lie...because you know what happens to liars?" He said.

Oscar ignores it and declares he is telling the truth. "No, no, I'm not lying."

"We kick them in the BALLS!" Mercury exclaimed as he kicked Oscar's private parts so hard. The latter cried out in pain and drop to the ground while holding his crotch. He stayed in that position for a few seconds while Mercury laughs and (Y/N) just stares at him.

"Come on, (Y/N). Let's go see how good you are with this new slingshot i heard you had." Mercury said, bringing (Y/N) with him. "Don't worry, friend, nothing escapes my notice. I hear everything. You and me, we can do things." He assured.

As both students walk off from the area, Oscar slowly sits back to the green couch, still holding his crotch from the pain as he let out whimpers. "Ow..."

Outside the Boy's dorm

"Where we going?" (Y/N) asked.

"Just shut up and follow." Mercury said.

The former shrugged and followed the grey-haired student across the school grounds. It was currently 3 in the afternoon and it was a good thing that (Y/N) did his afternoon classes before. He noticed that Yatsu's goons weren't present because they're usually outside bullying some of the students.

Though (Y/N) sighed in relief since he won't deal with them right now and kept following Mercury around the campus. Eventually, they reached the parking lot where there were little to no people around it.

"Here we are and there no prefects around. Perfect." Mercury smirked.

"Huh?" (Y/N) said, confused.

"There's a few empty wine bottles over there." Mercury pointed to the broken school bus and (Y/N) saw five wine bottles by the broken windows. "I found them near the English classroom."

(Y/N) noticed and nods since the English teacher of this school is also a drunktard.

"Now i wanna see your long range skills. See if you can hit them with your slingshot."

"Will do." (Y/N) took out his slingshot and pebbles as he aimed to the bottles. He was a few feet away from the bus, so it'll make it challenging to hit them.

He fired and a pebble hit the first bottle as he moved to the second one.

Mercury is impressed from his accuracy each time (Y/N) took out the bottles in long range. After a minute, (Y/N) broke down all the bottles with his slingshot.

"That's good. You've prove that your better than an empty bottle. Let's find something a little more rewarding."

"Why do you have to be such a jerk??" (Y/N) exclaimed.

"Because it's funny." Mercury replied. "Let's go."

(Y/N) sighed and followed Mercury out from the parking lot, to the back of the main building where most of the cliques were at. (Y/N) saw Nerds, Preps, Greasers and non-clique students hanging out.

"One thing though. Don't let the prefects see you with a slingshot. Keep it hidden unless you need it." Mercury advised.

"Make sense.." (Y/N) replied.

They both stopped in the middle of the path across the fountain. Mercury sees a lone prefect looking after the students if anything goes wrong, which the grey-haired student smirked.

"Hey, try hitting that prefect." Mercury said to (Y/N) pointing at the prefect. "He'll probably beat up on some other kid."

"Are you goddamn crazy?" (Y/N) exclaimed.

"Oh come on. It'll be funny." He assured.

(Y/N) sighed. "Okay then." He took out his slingshot as he aimed to the prefect by the fountain. Letting out an exhale, he let go of the slang as the pebble headed towards the prefect's direction. The object hit the prefect by the forehead and then starts looking around for the troublemaker.

(Y/N) and Mercury bolts away as the Prefect had his eyes on a greaser while heading towards him. "I'll teach you a lesson!" The prefect said as he slammed the greaser onto the ground.

Mercury and (Y/N) hide behind the stairwell as the former saw the greaser being taken away by the prefects. He laughs and look back to (Y/N). "Nice work! I love watching people get brutalized."

"Those prefects don't seem to nice." (Y/N) commented after seeing what the prefect did to the innocent greaser.

"True enough. But as long as their berating someone else, i don't mind." Mercury replied before gesturing to (Y/N). "Come on. Let's go to the football field."

Yet again, (Y/N) follows Mercury to hopefully their last location for testing out the slingshot. While they were still walking, Mercury decides to break the silence and talk of something offtopic.

"So, i heard your mom went on a cruise."

"Yeah, she got married..again." (Y/N) answered.

"Well look on the bright side. If she has any kids, they won't be bastards like little Pine." Mercury mentions Oscar at the last part.

"Why would i care?" (Y/N) asked.

"Because it's a good way to make him cry." He replies.

(Y/N) shrugs at that. "I guess. If that's your thing."

He and Mercury are now walking in Jocks territory, which as expected, includes sport related stuff. Like the Gym and the pool. (Y/N) did remember that Mercury told him to avoid the Jocks as they're the toughest clique in the school.

The jocks were just minding their own business and not bothering any of the nearby students from different cliques. Some are even playing basketball or soccer.

(Y/N) was relief again until both of them made it to the football field, which is pretty huge and long. (Y/N) saw a few students sitting by the benches, two jocks running laps across the field, but what focuses him the most is when he saw the Bullies running drills with Peter Port watching over them.

So this is where the bullies have been gone too, (Y/N) had thoughted.

"Look, it's Yatsu's goons." Mercury pointed out, seeing Fox, Brawnz, Roy, Nolan and two other bullies by the football field. "They work out here with Port after class. He HATES it when they stop their drills though. And you know what? I bet you can distract them without getting caught."

"Go find a way to deal with them. I'm gonna take a seat at the bleachers to watch the fun." Mercury smirked and sat down on one of the benches near the field.

(Y/N) saw a tall tree by the corner of the field and he thought it might make a good hiding spot to use his slingshot at the bullies. He went over there and climb it, but not before looking around incase there's any witnesses.

Nobody was around, so (Y/N) climb the tree and then he sat down on the branch. He balanced himself first before taking out his slingshot and aimed it at the bullies.

He aimed to the far left one, which was Nolan. (Y/N) waited until Nolan approaches his crosshairs and then the former fired. The pebble hit him to the forehead as he fell to the ground.

Port turned to the incapacitated Nolan. "What are you doing, ya lazy guts?? Get going!"

"But, Mr. Port. Something hit me!" Nolan complained.

(Y/N) smirked and fired at Roy and the two other bullies as the trio fell to the ground.

"Why are you stopping, you damn slackers!?" Port shouted at the trio.

"It was a rock. A rock hit me, sir!" said Roy.

(Y/N)'s next target is Brawnz and Fox. He aimed towards Brawnz first, waiting for him to appear at his crosshairs, and then launching the pebble to the side of his head as he dropped to the ground.

"I didn't tell you to stop!!" Port yelled at Brawnz.

"It's not my fault. Something hit me!" Brawnz said.

His last target was Fox, and (Y/N) smiled widely since he gets to hit him with the latter's own weapon.

(Y/N) waited and waited, until he had the opportunity and quickly fired the pebble which had hit Fox to the left eye. The bully dropped on the ground while grunting in pain.

"Dammit! Why are you all stopping??" shouted Port.

Fox rubbed his left eye and turned to the teacher. "Someone's messing with us, sir!"

"I don't care! Run another lap, you sack old pants!!" Port yelled at them.

(Y/N) felt satisfied of that as he gets down from the tree, safely. None of Yatsu's goons manage to see him get down since they were still injured. He goes back to Mercury, the latter smiling seeing all the bullies getting yelled at by the gym teacher.

"Man, that Mr. Port is a bastard." (Y/N) commented. "Also, that was pretty fun."

"Yeah, that was funny." Mercury gets up from the bench. "Anyways, gotta go. Got some homework to do." He starts to walk away from the field.

"You do homework?" (Y/N) asked but the question was ignored since Mercury kept walking away from him.

(Y/N) just shrugs and walks elsewhere, before stopping himself when he felt someone saw him. He look to his right and he saw 2 nerds looking at him.

He raises his eyebrow and asked. "What?"

They turned back to the incapacitated bullies and turn back to him with smiles. "You have our respect!" They exclaimed and then zooms away.

(Y/N) wondered what that meant before rolling his eyes and walking away from the football field.
