Chapter 6: I still hate you.

~June's POV~ Surprisingly, the rest of the school day went by pretty fast.

All my classes were good, and I even met more people.

Two of them I've gotten to know pretty well, they're prodigies like me.

One of them is called Aoi Asahina. But she likes to be called "Hina" for short.

Hina is a swim prodigy. She told me she's the captain of her swim team.

I told I her I'm the captain of the Regional Gymnastics team (which I am).

So, we bonded over sports.

That was nice.

The second person I met goes by the name of Sayaka Maizono.

That's right, the Sayaka Maizono.

You've probably heard her name before. And if you haven't, you've been living under a rock your entire life.

Sayaka Maizono is the world famous, ultimate pop sensation. In fact, that's her talent, the Ultimate Pop Star.

Now I can tell people I know Sayaka Maizono...! How cool is that?!

Gosh... Who knew there were royalty AND celebrities here at this school??? I sure didn't.

I thought Erin would be the only celebrity here. Well, I was apparently wrong...

Well, I'm glad I was wrong, because I got to meet Sayaka Maizono! Almost no one can say that!

I'm obviously a fan of hers. I just love all her songs. She's incredibly talented.

Right after seventh period ended, I told Erin about Byakuya.

When I finished, Erin had a surprised look on her face. "What?! He goes here?! No way...!" She said.

I sighed. "Yes, unfortunately, he does go here..." I grumbled.

"What? So you're saying, that we have to put up with him for a whole year?!" Erin said. I nodded.

"Yes, Erin." I said.

Erin stomped her foot on the floor. "Ugh! I knew this was all too good to be true...! I should've known after something awesome happens, something bad immediately follows!" She said. "I can't believe we have to put up with Byakuya Togami for an entire school year! I swear, if he hurts you again, I'll sock him in his stomach."

"Well, you have free permission to do it right now!" I said. Erin sighed.

"Well... Life isn't perfect, so I guess we have to expect some bumps in the road." She said. I nodded.

"Yeah, I guess you're right..." I mumbled, agreeing. Only I wished she wasn't right...

But, unfortunately, she was.

And Byakuya Togami was my life's bump in the road.

However, I will smooth out that bump...

The very next day, I was roaming the halls of Hope's Peak. It was lunch time now and I was searching for a quiet place to have my lunch.

It was Tuesday, officially my second day at Hope's Peak. And guess what? You won't believe it, but I've met even more people!

In fact, they were all Kyouko's friends! The ones she was telling me about!

One of them I met went by the name of Ishimaru Kiyotaka. When he and Erin met, their meeting didn't go over so well...

Ishimaru had somehow never heard of Erin before, so when I mentioned Erin was the Ultimate Hockey Star, Ishimaru's eyes had widened.

"Really," He had said. "The Ultimate Hockey Star is a girl???"

Of course, Erin had taken immediate offense to this.

She had crossed her arms and took a step forward to Ishimaru. "You got a problem with that?" She had said threateningly.

Ishimaru had broke out in cold sweat. "Of-Of course not...! It's just... I've never seen a female hockey player before...!" He studdered nervously.

I'm pretty sure he's kind of scared of Erin now.

Not surprising, I don't know a lot of people who aren't afraid of Erin...

Anyhow... I met a LOT OF people... I have to say, most of them are surprisingly nice...

I never thought people that go to a private school like this could be nice.

Well, I was wrong I guess.

But, of course, there's always Byakuya Togami. Oh, and he's not the only person I hate.

Ealier, I had the... Ahem... Pleasure of meeting a girl who goes by the name Junko Enoshima.

She's the most popular girl in school, and she's definitely NOT very nice at all... In fact, when we met, she looked at me like I had just crawled out of a dumpster and then ate gum right off the sidewalk or something.

Actually, she did say that my clothes looked like something you'd find in a dumpster... So, yeah.

Well, no school is perfect, and every school has a mean girl.

And Junko is this school's mean girl.

I also met tons more people, but it'd take too long to introduce all of them.

Most of the people I met were genuinely good people.

I was thinking about all the people I met I ran into someone in the hall.

Big surprise, it's Byakuya.

I was about to open my mouth and tell Byakuya to buzz the hell off, but he stopped me before I could even start.

"I know what you're about to say, I have to say I agree with you. But, before I can get out of your hair and you can get out of mine, I unfortunately need to clear something up." Byakuya said.

I crossed my arms and glared at him. "And what would that be?" I snapped.

"Well... I thought it over... And what I said about you and your mother... Was definitely unnecessary and frankly... Very wrong... So... I came to... I came to apologize..." Byakuya said. My eyes widened a bit.

Wait... He came to apologize to me??? Is he feeling alright???

"Wait... You came to apologize...???" I muttered in complete and total shock.

"Yes, I did. June, I'm sorry for insulting you like that... It was uncalled for... How about, instead of fighting each other like this, we just agree to stay the hell out of each other's way?" Byakuya said.

Wow... I can't believe he's actually sorry... I have to say, I was half expecting someone to jump out of nowhere and shout "YOU'VE BEEN PUNKED!" or something of that nature. But, no one jumped out of anywhere.

I just gave Byakuya a look. "Uh... Apology accepted... I GUESS... And I have to say, I actually completely agree with staying out of each other's way. You stay out of MY way, and I'll stay out of YOURS. How's that, Togami?" I said.

Byakuya pondered this for about a second before he nodded. "Agreed." He said.

"Well," I said before I looked around awkwardly. "Bye now!"

I was walking away before I suddenly turned to face Byakuya. "Oh, and, Togami?" I called. "I still hate you."

"That is another thing we agree on; I hate you as well." Byakuya said.

Then, before I left, I shot Byakuya the middle finger.

"Go die in a hole." Byakuya replied calmly. I rolled my eyes.

"You'll die alone~!" I sang back before I left around the corner.

Well, I guess that's that... For now, anyway...

Just know, if Byakuya doesn't stay out of my way, I'll make his life a living nightmare.
