Marinette ::

Marinette told him, Marinette told Adrien Agreste, he was gonna hate her, forever.

"Marinette who in the world is HawkMoth?!" Adrien yelled honestly scaring Marinette.

"He's someone i can't tell you about, he's controlling me though Adrien, i'm scared." Marinette whispered in true fear.

"Marinette I want to help, let's get rid of HawkMoth." Adrien determinedly hissed, his voice laced in venom.

Marinette knew it was almost impossible, she didn't want him to risk his life, it was too much for her to handle, she had tried everything, even tried throwing him up, and at one point she almost killed herself.

Little did she know, he'd die for her.

"Adrien, is it too soon to say I.." Marinette began before Adrien put a finger up to her lips as he gently shushed her.

"Marinette, it is too soon, and i want it to be a happier time, but after this ends I promise we'll have all the time in the world." Adrien smiled at her before he engulfed her into a big hug.
Marinette could feel her parents approving smiles.

By the end of their visit, Marinette had placed a kiss on the official gravestone in the grave home.

"Until next time maman and papa.." Marinette quietly whispered.

Adrien ::

It was a quiet morning.. All Adrien could hear were quiet chirps from outside, the night before had felt like a dream, more or so a nightmare because of the news he had learnt.

Adrien heard his phone begin to ring.
He groaned before looking at the called ID.
"Oh god! It's Lila!" He yelled to himself.

He had forgotten to contact her with all thats been happening. He kissed Marinette!! What if Lila found out? Would she leave him? He started thinking of the worst possible scenarios.

He gathered his breath before he answered.
"Hey Lilaa.." He nervously slurred.
"You didn't forget did you?? Its our 3 year and 10 month anniversary!" She squealed.

"Oh yeah! How could I forget?" Adrien awkwardly laughed.

"Lets meet up at Master Fu's café! I was just getting done shopping with Chloe!" Lila giggled as another voice was heard in the background, most likely Chloe's or Sabrina's.

"Okay what time?" Adrien asked.

"Ughh.. How about.. 3pm? Now, I have to go but I love youu." Lila gushed as Adrien could hear Chloe and Sabrina 'aww' in the background.

"I- uhh- love you too..?" Before Lila could respond he hung up, he felt a pang guilty for telling her that he loved her, when really a new person had his attention, most likely Marinette.

He then looked at the clock realizing.. "It's 2:30 pm!!" He yelled hopping out of bed to start his daily routine.

Marinette ::

"Marinette! Open up before I tear this door!" Alya yelled, pounding on the door.

"Wh-what?" Marinette hopped out of bed grabbing a robe opening her front door.

"Hey Alya.." Marinette yawned as she sleepily rubbed her eyes, Marinette was a disaster, she looked as though she had been in bed for a week, which was originally the plan. She felt uneasy and ever since she told Adrien, Hawkmoth had been awfully quiet in that little head of hers, she could only imagine what he would do to her when he decides to ruin her life.

Alya looked at the mess in front of her.
"Come on girl, lets get you ready." Alya rolled her eyes as she dragged the groaning sleepy girl to her bathroom, Marinette picked up her phone as they passed by a corner.

"47 calls.. Alya you're attached.." Marinette giggled. Alya rolled her eyes once again, her best friend smelt like cheap liquor and she knew that fixing up Marinettes life would be a struggle, Alya was giving Marinette space but she was becoming a tad bit frustrated, Alya had after all, spent years mourning Marinette.

"Alyaaa I need to vomit!!~" She yelled out before she ran to her toilet.
"How much drinks did you have?" Alya asked in surprise and a tiny bit of judgement.
"Lots, I don't want to talk about it." Marinette bluntly murmured apologizing right afterwards for being a bit blunt.

Alya did the best she could and tidied up her best friend, while Marinette took a few vomit breaks.
Marinette took down many shots after her encounter with Adrien.

"I have the perfect cure! Lets take a trip down to Master Fu's café, they have the best
hangover food ever, my treat!" Alya suggested.

"That sounds amazing Alya!" Marinette smiled at her friends generosity.

Marinette changed into some black tights and a comfortable hoodie, upon Alya's request.

They left Marinette's penthouse, but not before Marinette puking all over again.
Once they got there Marinette was a mess, they entered the warm café, Marinette being oblivious of Adrien being in the same café, with Lila!

Alya got seated with Marinette right away.
Marinette pressed her head onto the table.

"Alya I'm so tired!" She whisper yelled.
"Look whose here!" Alya gestured for Marinette to look up, and to Marinette's surprise, It was Adrien with someone, Marinette wanted to desperately see who it was.
She decided to get a little closer.
"Alya i'm gonna go to the restroom." Marinette winked gesturing to Alya that she was gonna take a closer look.

Marinette pulled her Hoodie up as she passed by their table sitting at a booth behind them. Adrien seemed to interested in his conversation to see Marinette pass by.

Adrien ::

Lila kept going on about his and her anniversary, and it made him wonder, Lila is truly a kind and caring woman once you've known her alone, should he really be betraying her trust, he hasn't even made a choice, a choice nor Marinette or Lila know about.

"So I was thinking, we should really get married soon.. Adrien I love you, more than anything, I love the way you laugh, smile, the way you would get annoyed with me and then apologize to me the next.." She giggled at the memories.

Adrien chuckled, with Lila he wouldn't struggle or be afraid she might snap.

"I love you too Lila.. And soon enough, I promise, no I swear, i'll make you my wife." Adrien smiled placing his hand on hers.

Marinette ::

Marinette felt the need to cry, was everything that happened the last few days all a game to him?

Did he just adore torturing girls?

Maybe he did change like Marinette would've thought so.. He changed for the worst.

Marinette got up in an instant not caring who saw, in the process, her hoodie masking her face fell of revealing who it was, and Adrien was sure to catch a glimpse.

"Marinette.." Marinette could hear him whisper.

She left, without Alya, without her food, but with a broken heart, what were the chances? It wasn't like she could ever have him, both HawkMoth and Lila were her biggest obstacles.

"Marinette if you could just hear me out!" Marinette heard Adrien yell as he ran after her, leaving a confused Lila and Alya.

"I think I've heard enough." Marinette spat, as she continued walking, she didn't even know where she was going buy all she wanted to do was to get away from this two timer.

"Marinette wait!" Adrien yelled, he had messed up.
Marinette turned around and walked towards him, he was expecting a hug or even a kiss but instead he got a slap.

"You're stupid! stupid! and stupid! You can't just play with my feelings like that! Adrien it might not hurt you but it sure hurts me!" She yells as she repeatedly began hitting his chest.

"Marinette just hear me out!" He tried stopping her.

"Am I just the girl off to the side, the one you're only around because you pity her?!" She continued. "And with Lila, of course, you pick the prettiest ones, the ones who fawn over you by the flick of a finger."

Now forget i ever trusted you and leave!"
Adrien did as she said, not wanting to upset her more, little did he know that that's exactly the opposite that Marinette wanted, Marinette wanted him to hold her and whisper sweet nothings into her ear while he reassured her that everything was going to be okay, and everything was going to be okay, for certain, but people don't often get what they want..
