Turnin' back the pages to our younger days.

I can still imagine you.

We saw each other every day, walking to school together.

I always looked forward to the jokes you made on the way.

And how your eyes sparkled as you told them.

Chasin' life with wonder with fire that could light a room.

Your positivity and happiness were always the center of attention in any room.

Your excitement for anything and everything you did left people with a smile on their face.

No matter how bad their day was.

But most importantly,

You lit up my life in a way you would never understand.

I knew God had sent you to me, but I didn't think he would take you away.

Bottom kinda fell out.

Waited for a rebound.

But you never made a move.

When life cuts so deep, I remember that everything happens for a reason.

Even the absence of your smile in my life.

And then God showed me.

That I could be the joy in someone else's life.

It was my turn to give what you had given me.

God spoke through me, and I helped change the world.

One person at a time.

A/N By the way guys, this is totally fiction! But we still should try to change the world one person at a time. Try just giving someone a smile and a wave! You would be surprised at how much that could effect that person. You never know if they're having a bad day. :D
