Blue Cranes are South Africa's National bird and they are some of the most beautiful and elegant birds that I have ever seen.😍

I was trying to say that seeing the Crane amongst such ugly  surrounding was like finding a beautiful poem that has fallen on the ground when all you expected to see was mud. My Mom says that it doesn't really make sense in the haiku.
I thought that I would post it anyway and maybe ask for your opinion
Does it make sense to you? If it doesn't is there any other way that you might phrase it within  5 syllables? 🤔
