This week's prompt is "The Ripple Effect".

Your task is to show the concept of cause and effect through the loss of a character.

We want to see how you can portray the idea that every action has a consequence. The way that elements of a plot-line are connected and influenced by previous elements.

Does the loss of a character trigger a climax or was it the final push in a series of actions? Or maybe the loss is the consequence of an action, justified or filled with regret. Get creative and show us your take on this prompt.

Criteria:

The story should be based on the prompt (but we always welcome artistic interpretation).

There is no required word-count (but we hope to be sensible).

Make sure that your story isn't mature and follows all the Wattpad Content Guidelines.

Submissions must be stand-alone and not require further reading.
