episode 4
"Where are we? An apartment building?"
"Look, it's Jisoo! He must be at DK's apartment!"
"Aw, he looks so nervous. How cute."
"He's ringing the doorbell!"
"Jisoo-hyung!" Seokmin beams widely at the older boy as he opens the door. "Come in!"
"Thanks," Jisoo replies, stepping into the apartment. He takes off his shoes and slides his feet into the house slippers that Seokmin had laid out for him.
"So I watched our last two episodes when they were aired," Seokmin tells Jisoo. He huffs childishly. "You pretended to be mad at me to get me to carry your guitar?"
"Yup," Jisoo admits shamelessly. He grins. "And you fell for it. You're so gullible."
"Yeah, but you still love me," Seokmin retorts, smirking proudly. "After all, isn't that what you said?"
"What are you talking about?" Jisoo scoffs defensively. "When did I do that?" Seokmin pulls out his phone and plays a video.
"Love you, Seokmin-ah!" Jisoo's voice sings, and Jisoo's eyes widen.
"Give me that!" Jisoo says as he attempts to snatch Seokmin's phone away from him. Seokmin laughs and holds his phone above his head so that Jisoo can't reach it.
"Why would I do that? I'm going to make this my alarm in the morning," Seokmin tells Jisoo teasingly.
"No! It's embarrassing! Delete it!" Jisoo whines.
"It's embarrassing for you to say that you love me?" Seokmin asks. He frowns. "But we're married, aren't we? Here, let me try saying it."
"Don't you dare," Jisoo warns.
"Hong Jisoo," Seokmin starts.
"Don't do it–"
"I love you."
"Oh my God!"
"So cute!"
"Aw, look at Jisoo! He's blushing!"
—
"So when DK told you that he loved you, you started blushing."
"Ah, did I really?" Jisoo asks. "Honestly, I wasn't prepared for him to say that at all. That's why I was blushing. I was kind of embarrassed and caught off guard." Jisoo scratches his ear.
"Also...because he looked so handsome at that moment...ah, this is so embarrassing!" Jisoo says as he covers his red cheeks with his hands.
—
"I hate you," Jisoo groans, covering his face with his hands.
"But I love you," Seokmin replies with a grin as he makes a heart with his body.
"You're the worst," Jisoo tells Seokmin.
"I agree with that statement," a new voice chimes in, and Jisoo and Seokmin's eyes snap to the pair of newcomers at the front door.
"Who is it?"
"Jihoon-hyung! You're supposed to be on my side!" Seokmin complains.
"But I like Jisoo-hyung better than you," Jihoon responds.
"Ah, this must be that mutual friend that they talked about a while back! The one that rearranged a song for them to perform at Jisoo's friend's café."
"Oh, right! Wait, but didn't Jisoo say that DK was closer with him?
"Don't worry, Seokmin-ah. I like you better," another person chimes in.
"Wow, it's Hoshi!"
"Soonyoung-hyung!" Seokmin wails happily, rushing towards Soonyoung with his arms stretched out.
"Just kidding," Soonyoung replies.
"Jisoo-hyung, shouldn't you be getting mad at them?! They're making fun of your husband!" Seokmin pouts.
"You're right," Jisoo agrees. He places an arm around Seokmin's shoulders and gives Jihoon and Soonyoung a pointed stare. "Stop it, you two. The only one who's allowed to bully Seokmin is me."
"Jisoo-hyung!"
"Fair enough." Jihoon shrugs.
"Anyways, what're you guys doing here? I thought it was just going to be Seokmin and I tonight," Jisoo says.
"You'd like that, wouldn't you?" Soonyoung winks suggestively, and Jisoo rolls his eyes.
"We're just here because I need to get my wallet," Jihoon tells Jisoo. "Can one of you get it for me? It's on the kitchen counter."
"I got it!" Seokmin yells as he sprints over to the counter, causing Jisoo to wince. Seokmin runs back and hands Jihoon the wallet, slightly out of breath.
"Wow, you're that eager for us to leave, huh?" Jihoon teases Seokmin. He hums and turns to Soonyoung."I don't know, maybe we should stay a little while longer. What do you say, Soonyoung-ah?"
"Nope, you can't do that," Seokmin interrupts, shoving Soonyoung and Jihoon out the door. "Goodbye!"
"Wait—!" Seokmin shuts the door in their faces and turns back to Jisoo with an innocent smile.
"Now, where were we?" Seokmin asks.
"Hmm...I believe I was telling you about how much I hate you," Jisoo responds.
"Sure, sure," Seokmin replies, waving a hand dismissively. "Oh, right. In the second episode, what was it your friend called me...was it 'Docutie' or something? What is that?"
"Don't...don't your fans ever call you that?" Jisoo questions nervously. Seokmin frowns.
"I don't remember hearing any fan call me that..." Seokmin mumbles.
"So Jisoo did make up a nickname for DK!"
"Ah, really?" Jisoo hums. "Well, anyways, what're we doing today?"
—
"Jisoo-hyung is so cute. He always hides his face and tries to change the subject whenever he's embarrassed." Seokmin smiles. "It's endearing. I like that about him."
—
"Oh, right!" Seokmin beams at Jisoo. "I'm going to cook a meal for you!"
"Really? You're really going to cook a meal for me?" Jisoo asks doubtfully, and Seokmin nods, still smiling brightly.
"I'm going to cook..." Seokmin pauses to drum his knuckles against the kitchen counter. "Ramen!"
"What did he just say?"
"What's he doing?! That's not romantic at all!"
"Get out," Jisoo says in a flat voice as he pushes Seokmin towards the door.
"This is my apartment though!" Seokmin protests, gripping onto the wall tightly.
"You're not serious, right? Ramen?" Jisoo repeats.
"What's wrong with it?" Seokmin retorts defensively, and Jisoo sighs. He grabs his keys and kicks Seokmin's butt lightly.
"Come on, we're going to the grocery store," Jisoo tells Seokmin.
"Huh? Why?" Seokmin asks.
"I'm going to make pasta," Jisoo answers. "Let's go."
"I wanted to cook for you though..." Seokmin pouts, and Jisoo smiles slightly.
—
"Come on, ramen? That was the best he could do? I was expecting something at least a little bit more romantic," Jisoo sighs before a soft smile spreads across his face. "Still, I was touched that he wanted to cook for me himself. That was a little bit cool of him to say that. Just a little bit."
—
"Alright, how about this? You can make your ramen for me, and I'll make pasta for you," Jisoo suggests. Seokmin perks up.
"Okay!" Seokmin agrees before smirking. "Hey, let's bet on it too. Whoever's food tastes better is the winner. Loser has to pay for the winner's dessert."
"Deal," Jisoo replies confidently. "Don't start crying when you lose later."
"I won't," Seokmin responds. "Oh, make sure to stop by the bank on the way back, Jisoo-hyung. You'll need to take out some money for when I win later."
"It's a good thing our bet is about cooking instead of dissing, because if it wasn't, you would already have lost," Jisoo says, laughing as Seokmin glares at him and shoves him out of the apartment.
