Kagami's P.O.V.

Today is a very cold day. Lots of snow covered the grounds. I lazily posed on my bed with the blanket only covering my stomach; still exausted cheering for the coach and captain the other day. *kriiiiiing* I opened my eyes in shock. "Hey, I remembered I didn't put the alarm on last night." I finally sat, but crouching. I saw a name displayed on my phone. 'Oh, its a mail. No, its a call.' There was one name displayed on the screen. ALEX. "*Yawn* Its been a few days since she left after the game against YOSEN. I pressed the call button, "Konnichiwa, wazzap Alex-" Before I got to finish my sentence, a loud american voice was heard through the phone in pure english language, "Hello Taiga?! Did you forget what today is?!!!" "Ha? Of course I know. Today is Saturday-" "No, not that! Today is my birthday!!!" "Nani?! (What?!)" I looked at my room's calendar to see today was shaded in red. The american again continued, "I'm riding the bullet train now and I'll be in front of your apartment in ten minutes!- *beep*" "Wha-" That was one wierd conversation. I was speaking pure Japanese while she replies with pure English. Nevermind that, MY MIND IS IN A STATE OF PANIC!!! NOW WHAT TO DO?!!

My head was now in circles calculating what to do. "Five minutes shopping, five minutes decorating; no, two minutes shopping, three minutes preparing, five minutes decorating,- arghhhhh!!!! Yosh! just shop for now!" as I dashed out the door to feel the cold air, I kept thinking 'Okay, three apples, flour, eggs, salt & sugar, and about the gift. . . . . . 0.0 The gift!!!' I ran to the nearest botique and looked at some clothes, 'No, this isn't her style, not these kinds, not this either.' I just picked out a vest with a hoodie then ran to the counter. I ran to the grocery store to buy ingredients and bought some party decorations to the nearest shop that sells papers. 'some crepè papers, colored papers and cardboards'. "To the next one!" Ugh. . . now I look like a child checking out new candy stores.

I passed by one store that sells kitchen appliances and saw the latest brand of non-stick pan. 'Gotta get that', I thought to myself and went inside the store. I got to fond and even bought a new turner and spatula. When I got out, I looked at my wrist watch. My eyes widened, "It took me five minutes?!!" Gosh, I gotta hurry.I went home. I cooked food. Fried rice, curry, stew and steak. I made desserts and some croquette. I looked at my wall clock "Ahhhh!!!! Two minutes left!!!" I cut and pasted some papers then hung them on the wall. I sweep the remaining dirt on the floor and arranged the furnitures then- *ding dong*

I looked at the door. I opened the door shaking preparing myself of what's to come. I flung it open, "H-hi. Alex, Tanjoobi-" "Oi Bakagami, we're not Alex you know. B-by the way, you free today?" It was coach and the basketball team. "We plan to celebrate for this. Since we. . . won it and all. . .", said Captain as he held out two pieces of paper in his hands. I looked happy. I thought, 'at least, our hard work's paying off. Time to cool off and relax- no. What about Alex? Oh no. . .' so I said.

"We told Kuroko to meet here but. . . where is he?" Kiyoshi-senpai said.

"Excuse me, I'm here." It was Kuroko. "Naniiiiii?! (Whaaaaaat?!) Kuroko, you were here?! Since when?!" He stared at us blankly, "Hidoi. I was here since five minutes ago." I facepalmed, "If you have been there, you should've said so. . . " "But you seemed busy to even notice me when you passed me. By the way, what're those things you bought earlier?" I scratched my cheek, "You see, those are for-" I felt a sudden need for air as someone strangled me on my neck. A woman with voice in pure english interrupted me, "You see, I told this guy I would be coming here." she said pointing at me. Then she kissed me!"I miss you Kagami!- Oh well hello everyone, nice to see you again! >~<" she is now looking at everyone who was dumbfounded because of her sudden appearance. "Alex/Alex-san?!!!"

2 minutes later~

"Ah, hontonii? Tanjoobii omedetoo, Alex-san! ^-^" Said coach after she knew it was Alex's Birthday. Yes, all of them are now inside my house celebrating the feast. Ugh. . . *facepalm*

Somewhere. . .(over the rainbow, way up high)

*On the phone*

???:   Hello Alex, is there a lot of people?

Alex: Not yet, just a bunch I guess. . . *munching on food*

???:   You. . . -Ok then, see you later. I am to arrive at the destination in five.minutes.

Alex: K. See you later then, bye bye.

*beep* *beep*

I heard someone knocking on the door. I slammed it open, "Who is it- now. . . " My eyes widened. I was shocked by the person before me. "Kagami?!" "H-Himuro. . . why are you-" A female voice interrupted,"Suprised? I invited him here. I told him there would be a huge feast."

Himuro Tatsuya's P.O.V.

Well you see,

~Five minutes ago~

While I was sitting at a swing in the park in the cold white snow thinking about the game we lost against SEIRIN, my phone beeped. I opened it to see a mail. 'Oh, its from Alex.'

It said,
"Hiyya Tatsuya! Did you remember? Today is my birthday! >~<  Would you please come to this adress? There would be a huge feast. Look forward to it. The cook seems to be really good."

Her message was followed by an adress. 'Oh yeah. today was her birthday. Now what to do?'

I went to the shopping district to find something that can be of use to her. 'Hmm. . . clothes? No. I guess I'll go with jeans and pants.' I bought a pair and went to the station. When I boarded the train, I called Alex informing her to be there within five minutes. I finally went to the adress.

I was in front the door then I knocked. Someone opened the door. Its the person I avoided the most. The person I lost to. The person who was once my brother. "Kagami?!" "H-Himuro. . .  why are you-"Alex then interrupted, "Suprised? I invited him here. I told him there would be a huge feast." Kagami widened his eyes. I smiled, "Well, well Taiga. What a suprise to see you here." He seemed to got the message and replied, "Keeping your usual pokerface?" 'This is so fun', I thought. Back to day one conversation here in Japan. With certainty, I replied back, "I ain't keeping a pokerface. Its my nature."

Kagami looked away and said, "A-anyway, let's go inside. It must be cold here." I just smiled and followed them. There was a huge noise made by SEIRIN members running around the room. Everyone seemed to be busy and only Kuroko noticed me entering the room and went to greet me, "Konnichiwa, Himuro-san." "Oh, konnichiwa Kuroko." He looked around as if finding something, "Umm. . . is Murasakibara-kun with you?" 'Hohoho, what is that reaction? I'm curious! I thought they hated each other?' but I replied, "I'm afraid he's not here Kuroko." He then looked sad, "Ah, is that so." "Yeah- but he'll be coming! He's just coming late!", I smiled and saw Kuroko smiling and went back to his seat.

'Honestly Kuroko, what does Atsushi mean to you anyway? Hohoho.' I'm really really really curious. I'm getting curious by the minute. "Please excuse me." I stood up and got out even I just arrived. After I closed the door, I searched through my bag. "Where is it- ah, found it. *beep**beep* Someone picked up on the other line.

'Ah, he's here' A cute voice is heard. (Yes, I refer him and his voice as cute) "Hello, who is speaking?" I replied, "Oh, Atsushi. Ohayo." I could hear some munching on the other line, "Muro-chin?*Munch*" "Yes, it is I. Are you busy right now?" "Hmm. . . not really. *munch* Just at home watching the Anime *munch* you lent me. You know, where they crush people and eat them." 'Shingeki no Kyojin?' "Can you come to this adress?" "*munch*Doushite?(Why?)" "There'll be lots of home made snacks and desserts. I forgot to say, I also brought some pockies" He went silent. The munching also stopped. The voice finally came back, "Wait a minute. I'll get a pen and paper." 'I knew it' he fell for it!' I told him Kagami's adress. "See you there Atsushi!" "Mm , k." *beep*

'Yosh!' I went back inside. I sat and ate some food. I tasted the curry, apple pie and some fried rice. "Oishi!!! (delicious!!!)" 'Oops!' I covered my mouth. Now that I think about it, Alex said that the cook was very good. I never considered the possibility of it being Kagami. Whenever there was an occasion, he would invite us to his house and cooked a lot of yummy Japanese dishes for us in America.

Three minutes later. . .

*Knock* *knock* I looked at the door, 'Ah, he's here.' Kagami stood up, "I-I'll go get it." I stood up and bring with me my bag, "No. I'll go get him."

When I opened the door, there is Murasakibara all covered in scarf standing there, "H-hi Atsushi. . . sorry to make you wait. Are you cold?" "Nah, not really. Who's house is this?" "You'll know when you come in. By the way, here." I handed him a box of pocky from my bag. His mouth watered. I chuckled at his cute face, "Come, there's still lots more inside. Home-made at that." His eyes sparkled and followed me inside.

When we went in the room, Atsushi stopped his tracks and all the others stopped working on whatever they were doing and looked at him. 'Hey, no fair! When I entered, only Kuroko noticed me. Why did everyone notice when he came in. Seriously guys?'

Seirin's Captain ponted at Atsushi with his fingers shaking, "W-w-why are y-you two here?" I raised my hand,"U-um, I was here actually for quite a while. . . Atsushi was the one who arrived just now." He looked quite shocked, "M-majide?!! (s-seriously?!!) Wait, back to my question, why are you two here?" "Why, well that's because I was invited." I opened my phone and let him read the mail. Everyone's eyes turned at Alex. "Hontonii (really) Alex-san?!!! Well, the issue is over for us but Kagami-kun. . . ", said Seirin's coach. Now everyone's eyes are on Kagami. "Now, now. Its a celebration so let's enjoy.", said one of the Uncrowned Kings, Iron Heart Kiyoshi Teppei with his arms hooked on Taiga's neck.

"I agree with the guy for once." Said Atsushi pouting with a little blush on his face mix with annoyance. You know, Kiyoshi problems. "But this kotatsu sure is warm." He is now sitting with his feet below the table but is sticking out on the other end. Everyone almost laughed looking away and went back to eating and shouthing.

"Ugh. . . they are annoying. . . " Atshushi pouted again cutely. "Please bear with it  Atsushi. Its not our house besides, it seems fun right?" "Mm, this apple pie is delicious. Who made it?" "Taiga." "Majide? Its so good. I might ask Kaga-chin sometimes to cook for me." 'Wait. Kaga-chin? seriously?!' Someone went to us. It was Kuroko with a brightened face. "Kagami-kun also cooked curry for us at summer camp. He also taught Coach. Oh, konnichiwa Murasakibara-kun." "Oh, Kuro-chin." 'Oh sweet. Let them enjoy their moment.' I stepped away for a while while bumping into someone. I looked at him. 'Oh no, its Kagami.' He looked at me. Scratching his cheek, he said, "U-um. . . want to talk?

I thought for a while, "Hmm. . ." I smiled.

"SURE."
