Um, hello, greetings, and bonjour and all that. I'm your humble and totally awesome narrator Donniedrako15. And this is your one-stop shop for all things comic recommendations. And some novels if I'm interested in them. Welcome to the Webtoon Spotlight. For those curious folk looking around here, worried they have to read a currently 200-chapter-long epic in preparation, fear not. 

This is supposed to be a continuation of that same review series, where you can jump in, for the most part, fresh. However, many things have changed since 2019, when I first made the Webtoon Spotlight. The biggest one is that I fell out of favor with Webtoon a long time ago. 

This will most likely be saved for my 200th spotlight (though I don't know what that would be about soon). But in short, I, for the most part, am not as passionate about Webtoon as I used to be. Between college and Daily Pass/FastPass becoming more prominent and some stories just stagnating for me, I don't read on the sit as much. 

That doesn't inherently mean my passion for stories has diminished—quite the opposite. What originally started as a simple side gig has become arguably my most popular story across all platforms. And through it, I've been introduced to tons of great stories. This is why my drive to make stories more accessible and more seen and to give the creatives who make this great work to be seen is also stronger. 

So, while I don't take recommendations, I will say that I intend to cover any genre or website if I can so long as it meets these qualifications. It has to be a story I have read to completion (fast pass notwithstanding, because I don't want to be broke). If it is a new one, it has to be at least over 30 chapters long if it's an ongoing story. Outside of that, I will try to give my best non-spoiler and honest opinion. 

Regardless of what I say, though, don't let my voice be the end all be all of checking the story yourself. The whole beauty of art is to be interpreted in different ways. But all the same, I hope you enjoy what gets to bask under the spotlight.
