//An au based on  fairy tales and old drawing I found of an au spider man based on Pinocchio I made long ago.

Once upon a time there was an old man named Ben. Ben was a woodworker who lived a modest life,but felt as if he was missing something after the death of his beloved wife Mayday. A child.  One day the man used his carving skills to make a puppet the size of a teenage boy. Ben found himself proud of his creation and named the puppet Peter. The man looked had been proud of his creation,but as if it was not fully complete. One night while Ben was finishing his creation he saw a what appeared to be a spider on a star. The man looked at the spider amazed and fascinated by it's beauty."Oh spider with your beauty on the shining star,won't you please shine your light and give me boy life". Ben had looked at the spider was more before he away. Once the man was gone the spider on the star shined it's light on the wooden boy. The light slowly faded away as the wooden boy moved a bit as it's eyes had fluttered opened.

The very next morning Ben had awoken and walked into his work shop and to his surprise he found the wooden boy had come to life. Ben had been full of joy that his puppet had come to life."Welcome to world Peter my boy" Ben had said to the puppet boy. The two had lived a normal life until one day the two had discovered that Peter had the abilities of a spider."Father?" Peter had asked the old wookworker "What am i?"."You are my son,Peter and with or without powers you always will be" the old man had said to the boy that once was made of wood.Days turned to weeks. Weeks turned to months and Ben had trained Peter to use his powers. The boy had been a bit cocky and relied to much on his abilities,but was told over and over again by Ben with great power must come great responsibility. One day Peter had disobeyed his father's whises and used his powers irresponsibly. He had ran around the town jumping from building to building like a spider and hanging from webs. The boy had been content with his choice and had found himself  having the time of his life,but everything changed when the boy heard the screams of an old man. He quickly rushed to the source of the cry and found Ben on the floor with a stab wound in his chest."FATHER!!" Peter had shouted as he picked up the old man "Father please stay strong.....i..i."."Peter....." the old man said weakly as he grabbed the boy's hand "I...love...you...". Ben soon went limp in Peter's arms as the boy screamed in sorrow and pain. Days had passed since Ben's death and Peter had learned that Ben had went out to search for Peter after hearing of a boy who acted like a spider and was killed by a bandit. Peter was full of rage and hatred and had doned a red and blue mask with a spider on it. The young boy had used his powers to find the bandit who killed his father. Once the boy found the bandit he trapped him in a corner and was about to kill him,but had stopped. Peter had tied the man up in an organic web and had the guards arrest him as the boy was no longer full of hatred and rage,but instead it was replaced by responsibility and pride. The boy had taken his father's words to heart and decied to live by the words with great power must come great responsibility as the Spider Man.
