Who am I to give someone a tip on writing? I'm yet to have a successful book that's not a silly fanfiction I wrote merely for shits and giggles.

Currently I have 6 novels which I call WIP but are more like WIS (Work is Stalled).

I do try to write. I swear I do. But finishing a first draft is nowhere as simple as I thought it would be. How some authors manage to write 2 or 3 in the span of a few months is beyond me (I mean, we all know Stephen King made a deal with the devil, but that's beyond the point).

I guess that if I had to come up with a writing tip. If there is one thing I can truthfully say that I do when writing, ,is this one:

Try.

Just do. Try it. Try and try and try and never give up on trying because you just need one hit to make it worthwhile.

Screw Yoda and his "there is no try" philosophy. Tell him to shove it up his wrinkly, green ass because not all of us can be Jedi. We have flaws. We fail, but we get up again.  And that's what matters.
