Grian woke up, snuggling Mumbo. He hadn't slept that good in quite a while. He carefully got up and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. Wow, he couldn't believe it. Just yesterday Mumbo and him were hanging out as friends, and now they had spent the night snuggling and in love. At least he thought they were in love. Grian certainly was. Grian had been crushing on Mumbo for as long as he could remember, and last night he finally kissed him. Multiple times. Grian scrambled some eggs with ham and put some toast in the toaster. Mumbo walked into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes.

"Good morninggggg! Sleep well I hope?" Grian asked.

"Mhmm. Better than usual, actually. Ooh, you're making breakfast." Mumbo also slept better? That's good. Grian serves the food on plates and set one in front of Mumbo.

"Want a good morning kiss?" Grian asks. Mumbo nods. Grian walks over to him and gives him a peck on the cheek. Mumbo made a happy yet sleepy grumble. Adorable. They eat their breakfast together and are much more awake after. Mumbo spots a jukebox in the corner of Grian's living room. He points it out.

"Oh, that old thing? I have some discs, wanna listen to music?" Grian asks. Mumbo nods. Grian walks over to the music player and picks out an album. He looks to Mumbo.

"Y'know, this one reminds me of you." Grian says. Mumbo blushes. The first song that comes on is 'Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)' by Edison Lighthouse. Mumbo reaches out and grabs Grian's hands. Mumbo places one of Grian's hands on his shoulder, and puts a hand on Grian's waist. They danced for the whole songs, and a few songs following. They were waltzing across the floor, feeling like they were floating. Like it was just them, no one else, in the whole world. Whole universe, even. Just them, gliding across the floor, dancing to music that they had both heard before but not listened to together. While dancing, Grian tripped and fell into Mumbo, making both of them fall onto the couch, Grian sitting on Mumbo's lap in an... awkward position, to say the least. Grian rolled over off of Mumbo, but Mumbo grabbed Grian's waist and pulled him on his lap, this time in a better pose. Mumbo kissed Grian's neck up and down, leaving a couple of marks.

"Mumbo, I didn't know you were so affectionate! What's this for?"

"To show that you're mine. Only mine. I love you, Grian. We work like good redstone; Perfectly."

"Well you're mine too then, aren't you? Don't be shy." Grian sat up and turned on Mumbo's lap to face him. He kissed Mumbo on the lips, then moved the kisses more and more down his jaw and to his neck. He left a few marks.

"Revenge, now they know that you're mine too. Everyone will know. In fact, let's go out right now, to the shopping district. I need more concrete." Mumbo blushed at Grian saying this.

"G-G-Go out? Right now? But they'll see..."

"That's the point, Mumby. You said it yourself. To show I'm yours." Mumbo couldn't argue against what he said, so they went out to get concrete. Grian could tell Mumbo didn't want to run into anyone there. Lucky enough for Grian, Scar was out doing some shopping as well, and decided to say hi.

"Hi guys! How are you? Doing good?" Scar said. Mumbo and Grian both said they were doing good. Scar noticed something.

"Mumbo! Did one of your redstone machines break? You have bruises all along your neck! Grian, so do you! Are you guys ok? What happened?" Mumbo and Grian both blushed. Scar looked confused at the blushing.

"Scar, they... Aren't bruises." Grian spat out. Scar looked confused for a few more seconds before a wave of realization washes over his face.

"Oh. The party. So, are you guys dating?" Scar asked. The boys froze up. They hadn't made it official or anything.

"No, we're not! Uhm, we should go now... Bye Scar!" Mumbo grabbed Grian's arm and gestured to the sky, and they both flew off. They got to Grian's base and laughed it off.
