Juvia's (POV)

After so many years of a one sided love Juvia has decided to give up. Gray doesn't love Juvia, he never did, and never will.

Juvia is a rain woman and rain woman are bound to not find love.

Juvia will not let the skies weep for she owes Gray that much. After all he helped Juvia see the sun.

Juvia has been avoiding Gray for the past few weeks. Juvia was walking down the streets of Magnolia when a man bumped into her.

"Oh sorr... Oh hey Juvia." A familiar voice greeted.

"Greetings Gray." Juvia waved.

Juvia turned and started to walk away.

"Wait Juvia, I was just coming to ask you if maybe... You want to go on a job?" Gray asked.

Normally Juvia would jump with glee... But instead she shook her head.

"You can do it yourself."

"Well of course I can but I thought..."

"I've got some things planned. See yah Gray." I bowwed and turned tail walking away.

'I've? Now he'll know something's up... I don't care anymore.'

I was gonna go to the guild but now that I know he's heading there... I've changed my mind... Geez I'm loosing it. I've even forgotten how to think in the third person!

I slowly walk only to hear footsteps behind me. I look out the corner of my eye and see Gray.

"Why are you following me?"

"I'm accompanying not following... Besides when have your plans never involved me?" Gray asked.

"Gray I meant..."

"So you you don't want me to come with you..." Gray stopped in his tracks. His voice sounded sad.

"Sorry, maybe you can go hangout with another girl or Natsu and Happy." I said with a gentle voice.

"But I... Juvia what's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing."

"Nothing my ass! Since when do you speak in the first person!?" He asked with a snarl.

"It was starting to get annoying... So I stopped."

"Annoying... Who told you that?!" Gray demanded.

"No one... I just..."

"It was me... Wasn't it?" He asked in a calmed saddened tone. "I said that to you..."

"No, Gray..."

"That's another thing... You stopped calling me Gray-sama." He stated.

"Well it never made sense anyway... your not... We are just friends so I... It wasn't proper."

Gray looked at me with sadness and anger in his eyes. "Just friends..." he whispered.

"You don't love me anymore?" He asked.

"I thought it to be best, you know... We weren't a good match after all." I stated with sadness behind my voice.

"You don't mean that! Juvia please give me some time... I promise I'll..."

The anger deep down inside started to overflow...

"You'll do what... Gray my heart has been broken numerous times by you... I can't love you..."

"Can't or wont..." Gray rebutted

"Both... I can't let the remaining part of my heart get hurt... And I won't ruin your life."

"Please Juvia give me another chance..." He pleaded.

"Seven years Gray... Seven years I loved you and I admit I still do. But, I think it's time I move on." I started to walk away and a part of me was saying to stay. But I know what I must do.

"Juvia we'll be together by this time next year! Or I'll die trying!" He shouted.

I turned and smiled... "Try and live... For me! Then maybe what you say will be true!" I shouted back.

Gray smiled and nodded. I turned and walked away.

I still love him... Honestly I hope that he meant what he said. I want to be with Gray Fullbuster and to do that we need to be separated.

As soon as I get home I started to pack everything I needed. I ate a small meal and headed to the guild.

I opened the door and the first thing that caught my eye was Natsu on the floor.

"Why'd you do that Luce?" He asked.

"Because you deserved it, did you even have to ask?" She said back.

I passed the two and headed up to the masters office. I open the door to see the master drowning in a pile of paper work.

"Master?"

"Yes child." He answered.

"I'd like to quit the guild."

The master started to cough. "You want... Why?!" He asked still choking.

"I just need to do some soul searching... I'll be back this time next year."

"You're sure about this?" He asked.

I nodded my head.

"Let us remove your guildmark."

The master removed my guildmark and I made my way down stairs. I walked up to Mira and she smiled.

"Hey Juvia." She greeted.

"Hey Mira... Do me a favor."

"You are what?!" She whisper-yelled.

"I'm leaving... Don't tell anyone okay. I made arrangements with master to tell them that I'm just going on a year long job."

"Okay well let me hug you and then... I'll keep your secret okay." She held her arms out and I hugged her.

I left the guild and headed to the train station. I boarded the train and took a seat. Just before the train started to move a figure sat down beside me. I turned and I was shocked.

"Gray!"

"So where to?" He asked.

"What are you..."

"I overheard your conversation with Mira... I'm not letting you go alone... Besides I made a promise." He interrupted.

"We will be together." He added.

I remained silent and smiled. "Well, we'll see."

We rode to train to a town north of Magnolia by the name Copious. When we got there the first thing we did was go to the inn.

"Hi there welcome to Luminous Lilly inn." The lady behind the counter greeted.

"Hi..."

"We'd like to get a room." Gray interrupted.

"Okay... How..."

"One bed, queen or king sized please." He replied before the question.

"We have one king size available..."

"We'll take it." Gray said.

The lady grabbed the keys and handed them to me. "Enjoy your stay."

I smiled and went to grab my bag but Gray beat me to it. "I'll get it you just walk."

I obeyed his command. We walked in silence and then he spoke.

"Soul searching huh?" He asked.

"Shut up." I blushed.

We arrived at our room and I unlocked it. We entered. Gray put the bags down and jumped into the bed. I went straight to the window and opened it.

"So Juvia let's talk... You know allot about me... I don't know much about you." He stated.

"What do you want to know?" I asked.

"Everything down to the last scar." He said sitting up.

"Well Juvia doesn't scar."

"There she is..."

"Huh?"

"Juvia just used the third person..." He teased. "I missed it." He added.

"Its not that big of a deal."

"It is to me. It's adorable..." Gray stood and  he walked over to me causing me to lean against the window pane. "I want to be the only one who hears it." He whispered into my ear and then kissed my neck.

I let out a little moan. And he chuckled.
"Same as that. I want to me the only one to hear you moan."

"Gray-sama..." I whimpered.

"So hot." Gray said just before his lips claimed mine.
