It seemed like just a normal day for the classes of the school known as Lamark's secondary school. Although each class there had their own stories, our story is focusing on the class of 3-5, otherwise known as Le ABC. The teachers gave this class that name due to the rebellious nature of these boys. They reminded them of the revolutionary men of the French Revolution.

Our story begins one morning when Professor Montpercy told his class that they were going on a field trip, unfortunately he wasn't expecting the response he got which was papers flying everywhere and whoops of excitement, and had to quickly duck due to a bottle flying by him and shattering on impact against the door. His eyes instantly landed on the one male who would dare to drink alcohol in his class, Grantaire. He was the lacklustre of the group but still managed to get grades of B's and C's and one A, in art even though he didn't seem like the artist type. The professor instantly yelled to shut them up and flared at his grandson Marius, expecting better of him. Suddenly a head of golden blonde hair poked up from the heads of excited and rowdy students. This was Enjolras, the leader of the class, the male everyone rallied around.

As the boys grabbed their belongings, a small boy snuck to his older brother. This boy was Gavoche and he was only a primary school student yet had the determination of the ABC boys. His brother was known as Coufryac, a close friend of Enjolras and the caring one of the group. He was mostly known as the mother hen because of his kindness and love for everyone. A yellow school bus was parked in the car park, it was quite stuffy but there was just enough room for all the boys and their professor. Montpercy knew what he was getting himself into due to hearing about what this group could get up to when they were out of school, causing trouble for the police and creating murals that inspired fight in people.
