Lucy's P.O.V

When I finished unpacking, I left to get the baby. I walked down the three fleets of stairs and walked over to the teacher's classroom. When I got there, the teacher was asleep.

I walked up to him and whispered,"Sensei..."

No reply

Then I got louder and quietly yelled,"Sensei..."

Still no reply.

I got really impatient and yelled,"Sensei!"

He woke up and his face flushed pink. "You didn't see anything..."

He reminded me of Natsu. I quickly shook my head to clear my toughts. "Sensei I need the baby."

His eyes widened with confusion as he asked, "Baby? What baby?"

"The baby for the project!" I yelled.

"Oooh! Sorry, I forgot. Before you get the baby, I need to ask you a few questions. Please do not get offended. This is ALL for your safety! I don't make this questions up so please don't get mad at me!"

I nodded a little confused at his words. Then, he took out a piece of paper and wrote my name at the top. He then proceeded with the questions:

Q."Have you ever had sex?"

My face flushed red then I answered, "no."

Q."Do you have any feelings for your partner? If so, you will be separated from that person immediately, We do not want any 'accidents' happening."

I thought about that question for a while. I didn't know what to say. I looked at him and said,"No. He's just a classmate." I felt butterflies in my stomach. Why does it feel like I'm lying...

He looked back down to his paper and flushed red. Then he yelled, "Please do not get offended by this question!"

Q. "When do you start your menstrual cycle?"

My face flushed many shades of red in embarrassed, and I couldn't help but yell,"Why the hell do you need to know that!"

"I'm sorry, Lucy-san, but the school needs this information! When you guys start your menstrual cycle, we have to separate you guys for obvious reasons. "

I looked at him and then he repeated, "I'm so sorry, the school needs it..."

I looked at him and sighed. I grabbed a sheet of paper and wrote it down. "Now, can I have the baby?"

He got up and went to the back of the class. Then he got out two rings and the baby, wrapped in a blanket.

"For this project, you will need these rings. They're called 'Lover's ring'. These rings will help us know when you guys are in Love. They will begin to glow when one person has feelings for the other. We will not take your partner away if it doesn't glow. We will if it does, duh. As I said, we don't want any accidents, and even if you didn't like each other, the school knows you kids are horny bastards, so that's why we put cameras. There's no room for funny buissness here. Is this information understood?"

I nodded.

He put the rings down and carried the baby with both hands. "Now, this is Yugi. Yugi is not real. None of these babies are real. However, we've programmed them to have the same reaction as real babies. Once you take the baby, we can not have it back. If you give back the baby, you will fail the class. Trade babies and you will fail the class. Another person takes care of the baby, you will fail the class. Only you and your partner can take care of it. Now, if you have after school activities, part time jobs and or clubs, there is still no way around it."

He passed me the paper he was writing on. "Sign here."

I wrote my name, grabbed the baby, and left.

As I held the baby in my arms, I felt something wet. What the heck. Why's it wet. I ignored it and placed the rings into my pocket. I then went up to the third floor of the dorms and opened my door. When I walked in, I found Natsu in the Kitchen. He was looking all around the refrigerator.

I cleared my throat loudly to get his attention. "Ahem, Natsu, what are you doing?" He turned around to face me.

"Is there no food in this place?"

My arms started to become even more wet. Then the baby started crying.

Narrators P.O.V

"Lucy! What did you do?" Natsu asked in fear.

"I didn't do anything. I felt my arms getting wet. Then it started to cry!"

Natsu ran to Lucy and exclaimed, "Let me see!" Natsu picked Yugi up to his face.

He sniffed the baby's bottom and said,"Lucy...it smells like piss."

Lucy's eyes became wide. She quickly ran to the bathroom. "Lucy, did you find any diapers?"

"No! The bathroom has nothing!" Natsu ran to the bathroom.

The bathroom was vacant. "Lucy, I thought you unpacked everything?!"

"I did! I just didn't have any bathroom stuff and I needed to go buy some..."

Natsu looked at Lucy and Lucy looked at him. "To the Store!" They said in unison.

Natsu hopped on the rail. "Lucy, grab on!" Lucy grabbed a hold of Natsu's back and he jumped off. While falling to the floor, Lucy quickly wrapped her legs around his waist. Once they landed, He ran to the store.

When they got there, Natsu ran to the baby section. Lucy jumped off his back and ripped open a baby diaper pack. She removed the baby from the blanket and took off it's diaper. When she did, a fountain shoot up and hit her in the face. Her face was full of pee.

"At least... we now know the gender... heh... heh..." he joked.

Lucy was angry. Then a Lady came by and asked,"Um...you can't change a baby's diaper in the middle of the store. Also, are you going to pay for that?"

Lucy picked up the baby by both of his arms. She showed the baby to the lady. The lady became embarrassed and asked,"Ma'am, can you cover your child's private area?"

Then Lucy shouted in frustration,"You see this baby? This baby peed all over me and all you can say is, 'are you going to pay for that'?!"

"I'm sorry Ma'am...." Then the baby started to cry again and it peed all over the lady. Then the lady started to cry. Lucy grabbed the diaper bag and they ran out the store.

"Lucy, why did you have to point the baby at her like that?!"

"I was mad, okay!" They stopped by a public bathroom.

"Lucy, put the diaper on him before he strikes someone again."

"Why me?"

"You're the girl, aren't you?"

"What does the fact that I'm a girl have to do with this?!"

"Girls are suppose to know all those house wife stuff, right?!"

"You're so stereotypical!"

"Ugh! Can you change a diaperor not?!"

"I don't know how to put a stupid diaper on!"

"Me neither!"

Then they saw a lady walk by and they both asked, "Do you know how to change a diaper?!"

"Uh...yes..."

"Can you help us? We're new to parenting and we never had practice..."

Lucy stepped on Natsu's foot and said, "What he means is that we have a project on parenting. We have to take care of this fake programmed baby. Can you help us?"

"Uh... sure..."

The lady showed them how to change the diaper. Then they walked back with the baby in Lucy's arms. They both sighed and said together, "This baby's going to be trouble..." They stared at each other and laughed. Then the baby began to laugh too.

"Lucy, we're a team. We can get over anything."

Lucy felt her face turn a shade of pink. She then remembered something very important. "Natsu, we need to do shopping tomorrow. We need a lot of things."

Natsu put his hands behind his head and said, "No problem. We'll just get it tomorrow." Then he put his arm around Lucy's neck and continued, "Just relax, we can worry about that tomorrow. Let's go get some sleep."

Lucy P.O.V

As I held Yugi, I couldn't help but think that we were like a real family. But that's just me. Natsu, might not think the same as me.

I suddenly remembered about the lover's ring. I balanced Yugi in one hand and took the rings out from my pocket and looked at them.

"Lucy? What's that?" asked Natsu instantly.

I quickly shoved the rings back into my pocket and quickly said, "It's nothing, just a bunch of rocks..."

"Oh okay..."

I'm not going to tell Natsu about it because if I do, the ring on my hand will glow, and he'll find out my feelings before I actually tell him. So I'm going to keep it my little secret.
