"Will! Look out! It's the... the... how do I say the name, Mike?" Dustin asked, his lisp affecting both his pronunciation of the words and the ability to say that particular word.
"The Demgorgan!" Mike replied, swinging his cardboard sword, with a pot as a helmet.
Lucas stopped suddenly, looking at Mike. "I think that's wrong."
"Is not."
"Is too!"
"Is not!"
"IS TOO!"
Will looked around, confused. He 'blasted' in the general direction of the monster with his staff. "Am I getting the DemonGorgan?"
"IT'S THE DEMOGORGAN!" Lucas cried, exasperated. Mike glared at him, but they all kept attacking the 'monster'.
"Micheal! It's 8:15!" A woman called from inside the house.
"Aw, Mom!" He called, running inside the front door. Mike ran as fast as his little legs carried him, and said, "But we just found the Demogorgan! This campaign took three weeks to plan!"
"I don't care. They have to go home! You can play with them next week."
"But Mom!"
"No 'but's, Micheal! I already put Holly to bed, and it's dark out."
Mike ran into the living room, calling, "Dad, reason with Mom."
"Listen to your mother, Micheal," Ted said listlessly.
"Ugh."
----------------------------------------------
"Will! Did you get killed by the Demo-Thingy?" Dustin asked Will, who was collapsed on the ground.
"Yeah."
Lucas pulled Will up by the hand. "Did Mike see it?"
"No..."
"Then it doesn't count!"
Mike came outside, dejected. "You guys have to go home now."
"Yeah, we heard," said Lucas, walking over to his green bike. Dustin followed, and Will after that.
"Your sister is a real jerk lately," Dustin said suddenly, "What happened to her?"
"Only since she's been hanging out with that buttwipe Steve Harrington," Lucas blurted.
"Well, she was fine before. She played with us in our Eldirwood campaign, and dressed as an elf."
Mike snorted. "Yeah, two years ago!"
Lucas waved, and started to pedal away. Dustin followed, but Will stayed back. "It got me."
Mike shook his head, and looked at Will. "What?"
"The Demogorgon. It got me."
Will started to pedal away. Mike stood alone in the garage, looking up for one thing.
The light flickered.
A/N:
OH DANG. I'm sorry for only doing that little bit in the episode, but I think I'll cut straight to when they find Eleven in the woods. Oh well.
Stay just a little bit weird,
-Runaway
