"Sakura-hime! How could you possibly do this!?"

"Are you out of your mind?"

Princess Sakura was the last of the Emperor's noble bloodline that you would expect to take the throne. Being the forgotten child of seven other children, everyone assumed that her older sister Kiyoshi or second sister Mariko would be the ones taking the throne. Even her four other brothers had a better chance of taking the throne. Her mother, the kindest of all the Emperor's concubines, was cast out and abused by the others because they wanted to get rid of the competition. In true form, had she allowed them to hurt her mother more, then the woman would've died.

Keyword: Would've.

Sakura, in another timeline, had grown to become as cruel and bitter as the sisters she once idolized. Since she was forgotten, she would sleep around and spend all her allowance on pretty things. Eventually, when one of her brothers took the throne, she had been shamed by the public as "Slutty Sakura" and thrown on the streets by the people she called family. Eventually, a war would break out between the warring kingdoms and slaughter all but her since she didn't live in the estate anymore. It didn't matter since she was supposed to be hung by the new emperor and his so-called wife to rid the world of her bloodline. In the end, the forgotten sister had a tragic end to her tale.

Oh, she thanked the gods above for Brother Ryusei slapping her across the face. As odd as it sounded, he managed to knock some sense into her before she went down the path again.

To clarify, Sakura was a few months early before her mother perished at the hands of the other concubines and their children. This was the day when Ryusei and his terrible mother had come to her mother's mansion and demanded that she leave the emperor. Sakura intervened, trying to stop Lady Ryuko from harming her mother when Ryusei slapped her so hard that she knocked her head against the wall. Memories flooded in from her last life and something clicked inside her brain.

"Ryuko-sama..." Sakura stood up, wiping the blood from her face. "I think my mother and I shall leave this place. The abuse she has suffered and the torment you and the others placed upon her have hit their toll. Since I am forgotten anyways, there's no need for me to hang around here anymore."

Ryuko gave a look of shock along with Ryusei as Sakura picked up her mother from the ground who equally shared a look of shock. Ryusei was furious, demanding she stop playing tricks, but she cut him off.

"I'm quite serious about this brother. I will inform the Emperor himself that we shall be leaving tonight. That way, you'll get the throne or whoever will have it. It shall not be my problem anymore."

Word spread quickly around the White Palace as Brother Ryusei informed the others of her departure. Some like Kiyoshi and Mariko were happy to see her go, not even sparing her a second glance as she walked her mother off the property. The eldest brother Atsuo didn't bother coming to see her off, thinking she was just acting foolish and would come back to the palace sooner or later. Only Ryusei, third brother Hikaru, and youngest brother Tomo came to the gate with their respective mothers who smirked as they saw Sakura leaving. Ryusei was still mad at her leaving but kept his anger in check. Hikaru was practically in tears, being the only brother who loved her. Young Tomo was still a child, but his heart ached to see his playmate leave so soon. The White Palace closed the gates on Sakura and her mother, thinking that the two would either crawl back or die for all they cared.

What they didn't expect was for Sakura to come back with an army at their door.

Sakura met her first love in the forest near the house.

The duo that was Sakura and her mother had found a nice cottage in the countryside and decided to plant flowers in the fertile soil. They sold these flowers in the local villages and cities nearby. After leaving the borders of the kingdom, the two discovered that they lived smack dab in the middle of all four warring kingdoms with the forest being neutral territory. Sakura left one morning to go fetch water from the stream when she found a wounded crow on the pathway. Acting quickly, she patched up the wing using her hair ribbon and took the crow to the stream to wash the blood off. After a while, she placed the poor bird in her basket and nursed him back to health for two weeks. Her mother didn't mind since the bird made good company while she sold the flowers. It would caw when she entered the house as if giving a greeting to her and eating food with them. Then one night the bird vanished, never to be seen again.

Later that week, Sakura got a letter from one of the neighboring kingdoms thanking her for saving their prince. Turns out the prince, Daisuke, was a shapeshifter and had gotten injured in the battle that he shifted into his bird form. A Royal insignia was granted to her, allowing her free access to food and other items if she ever visited the kingdom. At first, she was surprised to find that the bird she had tended for was a prince, but was more shocked that she could now provide for her mother.

This wouldn't be the last time she would accidentally make someone fall in love.

She met her second love saving her life from bandits.

Sakura was now accustomed to living in the woods, keeping her long hair in a ponytail and wearing mostly male clothing. She carried a sword with her and trained when she wasn't tending the flowers. Her mother had since recovered from her past wounds and would train with her. Together they became a legend in the forest.

A carriage containing the princess of the northern kingdom Chiyo was passing through one day. Her parents were sending her to see if she could be used as a peace offering for prince Daisuke to gain the southern kingdom in their alliance. In another life, Chiyo and Daisuke would fall madly in love and bring peace to all the kingdoms. However, fate had other plans as her carriage was suddenly attacked by bandits. Chino's guards were slain, her maid was captured, and the bandits bound her with ropes. Before they could escape, Sakura emerged from the woods decked in her new clothes, and took them all out. Chiyo watched in awe at what she assumed to be a handsome young male protecting her from the scary bandits. Her cheeks burned red as the male came over and held out a hand.

"Are you alright, young lady?" Sakura asked, helping the blushing female up.

"I am now....thank you for rescuing me." Chiyo looked down as she noticed that they were still holding hands. "Um....who are you?"

Sakura started wiping her face with the sleeve of her shirt. "My name is Sakura and what might your pretty name be?"

Chiyo turned away, not wanting to show her blushing face even more. "I-I-I am Princess Chiyo of the Northern Kingdom! I wish to thank you for rescuing me!" Reaching into her pocket, she drew out a handkerchief and wiped Sakura's face. "There we go, no more dirt to smug that handsome face."

"Handsome?" Sakura coughed but allowed the cute girl to wipe her face off. "I suppose I can take you to what kingdom you were going to. I know the routes of the woods here."

Chiyo held onto the handkerchief and nodded furiously. "If you would be so kind. I appreciate your chivalry."

It was later on when she had a private audience with Daisuke that Chiyo would learned her true gender. Despite that, she and the prince spoke fondly about their time with Sakura.

Her last love was so spurred by the moment that Sakura couldn't believe it.

"Be my wife Sakura-san!"

Katsuki, the brutish prince of the western kingdom, was a proud warrior who had plans on taking over the world. The lifetime before this one saw him succeed halfway until he was murdered by one of Sakura's siblings. He carried himself with pride and dressed in a fashion that was unbefitting of a prince. His primary choice of weapon was a club with spikes.

One day, while drinking with his fellow warriors, they told him stories of a maiden who lived in the woods and defeated all who came upon her. He also heard that this maiden had managed to gain the attention of not only his rival Daisuke, but Princess Chiyo as well. If this maiden was strong enough to gain the affections of the other two kingdoms, then surely he could gain her affections too. Finishing his drink, he made his way into the woods and found Sakura's house. Keeping it to memory, every day he would come by and demand that Sakura be his wife. Every day, she would decline his offer and tell him to leave. This infuriated him as he would try to fight her, but she was too fast and smart. So she made a deal with him; if he could defeat her in battle, then she would marry him.

Too bad Katsuki had no idea how to play dirty.

Sakura was ruthless, taking him down with either her sword, fisticuffs, or even plain wrestling. Part of this stung his pride as a warrior while the other part of this made him want her more. She was an enigma wrapped in a challenge for him.

Which meant that he wanted to slap a ring on this warrior princess.

Too bad he picked the worse day to do his usual proposal because when he reached her house, Prince Daisuke and Princess Chiyo were sitting in the garden as Sakura served them some tea. His anger rose to his thick head as he ran over to demand those two stay away from his wife.

"Oh there you are Katsuki, I was waiting for you to come so that I can discuss something with all of you."

All the pieces were falling into place as Sakura approached her old home of the White Palace leading the troops of the North, South, and West. Recalling how this scenario played out before, she kicked down the door and saw the entire royal family cowering in fear at the sight of her. When Sakura left, the power struggle between the family was much more ruthless than the last time. Hikaru and Tomo were still upset at their family cast her out and refused to take part in the war, causing the Emperor to lock them up in their sister's old mansion. Kiyoshi got into more frequent spats with Mariko, causing both of them to kill each other's, respective mothers. Atsuo was going to take over the throne after the war was over, purposely sending Ryusei to the front lines to be killed so that no one would challenge him. What they didn't expect was for the troops to all fall back from each kingdom. Assuming that they won, the Royal family thought a celebration was in order.

What they didn't know was that this was Sakura's plan all along. Lure them into a false sense of security before slaughtering the whole lot of them.

Daisuke stood on her left, Katsuki on her right, and Chiyo was with the medical personnel, but she was safer by her side. Sakura could barely keep her excitement as she waltzed into the throne room with pride. Her family noticed her holding hands with the two princes and the princess as well and were shocked. That cued the questions from them as Sakura smirked.

"Isn't it obvious? I am here to get revenge on the family that abused me and my mother. Unlike you, I decided to make alliances between the other kingdoms and gain favor from their heirs." Sakura said, squeezing the hands of Daisuke and Katsuki.

"So you got engaged with the princes of the south and west?" The screeching voice of Kiyoshi said angrily.

"Who said I just engaged them?" Sakura allowed Chiyo to place her head against her shoulder.

"That's absurd! A woman can't marry another woman nor can she marry more than one man!" Ryusei shouted, getting angry at the fact that all their enemies allied themselves with his useless sister. "I knew I should've gotten rid of you before you left! Now you perform blasphemous acts-!"

"Enough." Elder brother Atsuo came forward, glaring down at Sakura. "Sakura, if you think that father and I will overlook this, you are sorely mistaken. I will allow you back into the family if you renounce your engagements and tell them to leave."

If he thought he could talk her down, then clearly he didn't know his new sister. Without warning, Katsuki came forward and stabbed Atsuo in the chest. Daisuke deflected a shot from Ryusei who tried to sneak up on his beloved. Chiyo managed to pin down Kiyoshi and Mariko who were trying to escape. Sakura sighed, shaking her head as she walked past her former siblings.

"There's going to be some changes around here. It would be better to get rid of the old and start a new age of peace."

Her family, bar Hikaru and Tomo were slaughtered by her fiancés and their armies were reduced to nothing. Sakura took the empty throne and married all her lovers to establish a treaty between the lands. None would challenge such a strong collaborative force that took down everyone that dared cross into their lands.

Because what could break the strong bonds of a princess in love?
