Two days had passed since the incident, everything seemed to be going back to normal, until that faithful meeting with four kids.

Russ: What?! Why?

Lori: I just feel like I'm going to be safer there..

Lori: We'll keep in touch I promise!-

Cass just kept crying and pulled Lori into a tight hug along with Russ whilst Marc was painfully silent, looking away from the group.

Lori: Marcial?

Marc: ..I-I hope your happier there..

She could see a tear escape his eye in which her quickly wiped away, Lori sighed and just hugged him from behind, he blushed and was desperately trying to hide it with his scarf.

Lori: I'm sorry okay? You can be mad if you want but you can't stay like that forever, can you?

Marc groaned, turning around and just hugged Lori while finally letting tears fall.

Marc: I'm not mad, I'm j-just disappointed that I can't be with you everyday...

Lori: You three can literally visit me.. why be dramatic?-

Cass: You're crying Russel..
Cass pointed to Russ' eyes.

He took out his switchblade as he smiled at the others.

Lori: ..Russ, give me your pinky-

Lizzie was shook as she watched their whole conversation, with Charlie on her head.

Liz: What'd you think they're crying about, Charlie?

Liz lets Mezza drag her to the hallway, she was confused to why Lori didn't follow them but then decided to shrug it off.

She stared intensely at the chair beside her, Liz waited for the girl to come in but Lori never did, Charlie popped from her hair and floated down to her desk.

Liz: Lori's taking awhile than usual.. don't you think?

After that Mr. Haywood entered the room and Charlie jumped back to Lizzie's hair. They went through roll calling as usual but this time Lori's name wasn't mentioned, Lizzie furrowed her brows and raised a hand.

Haywood: Yes, Elizabeth?

Liz: I was wondering why you didn't mention Lori's name?

Haywood: Ah, well you see Liz, Lori's moving schools-

The whole class gasped and began bombarding questions as Cass started crying again, while Lettice was in the background, surprised, and then it grew into satisfaction.

"Lorraine's moving??"

"Why would she do that?"

"Is it because of the fire?"

"Is she leaving for good?"

Lizzie sat there, frozen, Lori's leaving the school just like that, she clenched her fists and shakily stood up with a worried Charlie on her shoulder, without thinking twice she rushed outside the door, Mezza quickly ran after her, they both ran down the stairs and to the outside with Mezza calling out for Elizabeth.

Mezza: Lizzie! Slow down for a second!

Liz: No! I need to find Lori!

Mezza: If you trip I swear-

She fanatically looked around as Mez catched up to her, panting, she saw Lori at the gates, about to walk out as she calls out for her.

Liz: Lori fucking Cordeigh!

The girl stopped and turned around to see Lizzie running to her, she raised a brow.

Lori: ಠಿ_ಠ Tudor-

Liz: Why didn't you tell me?!

Lori: Tell you wHat-

Liz: That you're leaving!

Lori: Tudor, I'm leaving.. there I told you, now go-

Liz: That's not what I meant! Why are you moving schools?

Lori: Because I'll be living miles from here!

Lori: I'm moving in with my grandparents.. they live in Glasgow..

Lori: I've already decided Elizabeth, you can't stop me.

Mezza: Liz, your queen-iness is showing...

Lizzie paused before taking a deep breath and said.

Lorraine stood there as Liz began realising what she just said and his her red face, the girl Infront of her smiled.

Liz: I'm sorry I should've just- wait what did you say?

Lori: Clean your ears,  I like you too.

Liz: You're joking-

Lori: I like you too.

Liz: I'm dreaming aren't I?-

Liz: Is this real??

Lori sighed in frustration and made her way closer to the mumbling Lizzie, she cupped her cheeks and moved her face so that they were looking at each other.

Lori: Is this real enough to you?

Liz: Its—

She was cut off with Lori pressing her lips against hers, Lizzie's eyes widened before she kissed back.

When they both pulled away and Lizzie almost fell over but Lori was able to catch her.

Lori: uh- are you okay?-

Mezza: You broke her-

Liz: *incoherent mumbling*

Lori: I'm sorry-

Charlie: -angry noises-

Liz groaned and threw an arm around Lori's neck, pouting at the girl.

Liz: Then stay for awhile..

Lori: But I'm going to miss my flight-

Lizzie gripped Lori's shirt tighter and stared at her.

Liz: I said stay.

Lori: Okay fine-

Mezza: What about school?-

Liz: Fuck the school-

Mezza: Kk-

Lori stood there holding Liz for a few moments until she looks at Mez.

Lori: How long should I stay here?

Mezza: Until she's done recovering.
