Firey's POV:
As I awoke without Leafy, a frown grew on my face. I felt sick. Not physically, but emotionally. I wanted to stay home, away from ghosts. So I called Leafy and told her to call her parents saying she was sick to avoid the ghostly halls. I would try the same too. Leafy said she would and I told her that I would too. So I called up my parents in my most sick voice ever. "Hello? Firey?" My mom answered. I coughed. "Mom, I'm sick. I *cough cough* have the colds." I answered. "Well, I'll call the school, but I have an important promotion possibility chance today. Are you going to be okay without your parents?" she answered sadly. "Yeah, I *sneeze* I know where the cough syrup is." I replied. I'm able to stay home! Ha, I'm safe now. I went to the freezer to make myself breakfast!
Leafy's POV:
"Leafy, you'll be fine. Get to school! And if you really aren't well, take a few pills to school with you. Be responsible!" My mom argued. "But mom! I am-" "Bye honey!" She hung up. Oh no, what am I going to do? I can't stay home because the school will call my mom. Damn it! Looks like ghostly halls for me. I walked out the door sighing. As I reached the gates, I reached in my pocket for my phone to check the time. I didn't feel my phone. What? I asked myself. Still nothing. Oh no, I forgot my phone at home! And The bell just rang! I'm thinking maybe I could go back until a teacher grabs my shoulders and moves me inside. "Don't be late!" She says, and I can't go back now. So I take a deep breath, and walk up the stairs. I'll try and walk with a buddy to exit. Maybe I could escape. I sure hope I can.

Firey's POV:
I've been texting Leafy all day and she isn't answering!!! Is she alright? Or... did she GO TO SCHOOL?!?! No, she would have her phone and text me during break time. UNLESS SHE FORGOT IT! OH NO, I HAVE TO FIND HER! I ONLY HAVE 10 MINUTES TO CHECK LEAFY's HOUSE AND TO GET TO SCHOOL! I must hurry. I slapped on some random clothes without brushing my hair and ran to Leafy's house. I banged on the door. No answer. I looked through the windows. Nothing. Then I saw her phone on her bedside table!! Oh no. She's at school. And its 3:06!! I need to hurry and get to Leafy. I can't lose her. Even if Julia saves her I need to be there and make sure she is safe. I freaking love the girl and I need to ensure safety for her. As I rushed across the streets, someone honked a horn at me. It was my grandmother. She pulled up her car and started chatting with me. No, not now, No! I yelled in my head. After many minutes, I finally got a chance to end the conversation. I waved bye and ran to the gates. 3:21, my watch read. No, I surely can't be late. I'm sure there are still.. people.. there. No one at all. NO! I ran to the door. Locked. NO, this can't happen to her. I banged on the door. "Hello!!!" I yelled multiple times. I kept on banging. Suddenly I heard a teenage girl's voice screaming. It was LEAFY'S SCREAM. NO! NO! NO! I banged on the door. "LEAFY!" I yelled. I heard evil, loud laughing. "Time to go back to heaven," a familiar ghostly voice snickered. And all sounds were gone. No. I kept on banging until about 1 minute later the door opened. It was Julia's ghost, with wide river-like lines of tears stained on her face and bloody hands. "Julia! What happened!" I yelled. She sadly gestured behind her, revealing a huge puddle of blood on the floor. "Where is Leafy?!" I scaredly yelled. "It will take some explaining..." Julia replied......
