Half of you whom follows me really wanted CheeseEgg/Mr. Egg X Mr. Cheese as the ship here.. so in this fanfic, CheeseEgg will become canon at some point. Summary: Veteran being mad af and some.. omelette content.

• Player's POV

[Current Time: 6:47AM]

After.. I guess a few hours of sleep I wake up in the Cafeteria. I was a little confused for a few seconds until I remembered that I slept there. I was also convered with a yellow blanket. Probably the reason why I didn't freeze to death yesterday- Wait.. I don't remember getting this.. I thought. I was so confused how I got it but.. okay.

I sat up straight and well.. usually you would see the morning light in the morning right? No, In the Skeld.. If it is morning the Cafeteria lights open so it simulates the morning.

I got up and folded the blanket, and placed it on the table. I didn't know whom it was from so I guess I'll ask who owns it later.

As I stood up from my sitting position, I turn around and see.. oh great, Greaser.

Greaser looks at me, annoyed. "Why are you here so early?" Greaser asks. "I slept here.." I said to him. Greaser gives me a confused look. "Why didn't you sleep in your own room?" Greaser asks. I didn't know how to respond.. I can't just say
"Because of the view.".. So.. I lied. "Cause.. I was too tired to go back to my room at the time." I said to him.

"Well great, this morning is already getting ruined thanks to you." Greaser says. I didn't even do anything- "Uhh.. sorry?" I said. He rolled his eyes and walked away from me. Geez.. I thought I broke up with Madison. I jokingly thought.

At some point some of us also woke up and said "Good Morning!" to each other. Some of those who weren't awake yet were Stoner, Bro, Dum and Mr. Cheese. Captain said he'll wake up Stoner, Mr. Egg said he'll wake up Mr. Cheese and Bro and I said I'll wake up Dum.

We all headed to their rooms. Since- well- I'm Dum's older brother I'm able to use my keycard to get in her room. I slowly unlocked her room and she.. was awake, getting ready. "Oh, Hey Player! Somethin' wronggg?" Dum says. "No I just wanted to see if you were awake yet." I said. "Obviously, I usually wake up more early then you so- this is weird." Dum says.

I chuckled a bit from that. "Alright, be quick!" I said to her. She looked at me, confused. "Brother, you're still in casual clothing." Dum says. Oh Shoot! I forgot.. I thought. "O-OH! OKAY UHH.. THANKS FOR REMINDING ME, BYE!" I said to her, quickly closing her door and heading to my room.

Even if there is no mission you still have to use your space suits if it's not freetime, unless there is a day off then you can do that.

I quickly unlocked my door and searched for my space suit.

7 Minutes later..*+

After 5 minutes or so I finally found it! Damn it why was it at the far deeper end of my cabinet anyway? Anywho.. time to wear it.

As I wore my space suit, Captain made an announcement.

(The Italicized Texts are what he says through the speakers, yes, each room has a speaker for announcements.)

"Good morning crew! This is Captain. Please head to the Cafeteria for breakfast at 8AM! And remember to wear your space suits during 8AM to 4PM, Thank you!"

Alright then.. guess I'm wearing this for a while.. I don't like wearing my space suit too much since it's a bit too tight but I can manage a day with it. I took my keycard and unlocked my door.

I headed to the Cafeteria to see most of us all ready and awake. As I was walking.. I tripped over someones foot.

"AUGH!" I said while tripping. I heard someone chuckle. I shot my head up to see Greaser. He kept laughing at me, some also did like Bro but most of us did not laugh. Especially Veteran for that matter..

• Veteran's POV

I was talking with one of my best friends in this ship, Greaser. He was one of the people I was friends in at school so we hang out a lot, although.. recently, he's been.. a little mean to some people. I hung out with him just this morning and he's been very rude to some people.

"Dude what was that for?" I asked him after him.. insulting Mr. Cheese for his name? "Just tellin' the truth to the others, Vet." Greaser says. "Maybe you should just keep them to yourself if you would just randomly insult someone, that's not cool, nor chill." I said to him, a bit angry.

"Whatever dude." Greaser says. I looked away from him and saw Player unlocking the Cafeteria doors.

Greaser gets closer to me and whispers: "Dude, watch this." Greaser says.

He walks away from me and goes near Player and trips him over with his foot.

I did not like that.

I quickly ran over to Player to help him as Greaser laughs. What the hell happened to Greaser?.. I thought. He was never like this.. He used to be much nicer and not.. whatever he is anymore. I don't like his new personality.

I helped Player get up, Greaser didn't looked pleased I helped him. "Thanks Veteran.." Player says. "Yeah, no worries!" I said to him while grabbing his hand. We both let go of each other's hands and I quickly took Greaser's hand and dragged him to the Kitchen.

"Greaser, What. The. Hell. Was. That?" I asked him, I was angry at this point. "Dude wasn't that hilarious to you?" Greaser says. I was not amused. "Greaser what the hell?! Since when the heck did you start being this way?..." I asked him. "Dude, I'm just being me." Greaser says. "Plus, you shouldn't help losers like him. You're a winner, not a loser." Greaser says.

That was the last straw.. I didn't like that. "Greaser, If you're gonna act this way.. we might as well not be friends." I said to him. "Whatever dude, why the hell would you even hang out with him? I saw you yesterday talkin' to him and stuff. Why would you hang out with a loser?? Like, bruh." Greaser says.

"Greaser, this- I can't- I can be friends with who I want to be, and plus, why the hell do you hate him so much??" I asked him. "Cause, as I said, He. Is. A. Loser." Greaser says. Okay, what the frick- I thought. I can't deal with this anymore. I thought.

I left the Kitchen, having a bad mood.

• Player's POV

Alright- Hearing me being called a loser for like- 4 times is not that bad?.. I've been called worse. I was listening to their conversation cause.. well.. I just wanted to know exactly why the hell did Greaser do that to me, guess now I know.

I see Veteran coming out of the Kitchen, He looks really pissed.. uhm- I did not like that.. I didn't wanna bother him either so I.. Didn't bother asking, even if I really wanted to.

I guess he didn't wanna eat breakfast after that scenario cause he went to the dormitory afterwards. I should probably comfort him later.. I thought.

After all of that I decided to sit down.. with nobody. Dum was talking to Gnome and Engineer so.. and Veteran is in his room.. Captain is talking to Stoner and well.. Mr. Cheese is.. wait what- Talking to Mr. Egg?! Okay, that's probably the weirdest thing I've seen all day, and this day isn't even done yet for goodness sake!

• Mr. Egg's POV

Alright, this is really weird..

Just yesterday we fought and now he's acting all cheerful and just- talking to me normally?? I don't get it.. You see..

Me and Mr. Cheese have been.. persay rivals. We were rivals for a pretty long time just cause of TheGentleMan. I don't really like TheGentleMan if I'm being honest, I just enjoy his company. But.. Mr. Cheese thinks otherwise. It might seem odd but.. I kinda like Mr. Cheese a bit? Even tho he just- almost tried stabbing me a literal day ago.. I can't stop with the feelings too much.

I had a bunch of thoughts in my head, Why is he talking to me? Why is he being nice? I don't get this.. is he planning something? should I be scared? I thought. As those thoughts kept whirling around me, Player comes in.

"Uh, Hey you two!" Player says. "Hi Player!" Mr. Cheese says. "Hey Player.." I said to him. Player looks at me, a bit worried perhaps.

"Uhh.. Mr. Egg you okay?" Player says. I didn't wanna respond nor give him an answer to that question. "Yeah, you okay Mr. Egg?" Mr. Cheese says. Oh dear.. I thought. "Y-yes I'm fine! If you excuse me for a second.." I said, standing up and walking away from both of them.

I left the Cafeteria and went to my own room. I headed there, keycard in hand and unlocked it. I sat at my bed. I was really confused with my whole situation.. why was he?- why did he?- why is he?- I'm- I'm confused.

Suddenly, I heard a knock at my door.

"Mr. Egg, you alright in there? I heard the situation, want me to come in?" TheGentleMan said on the other side of the door.

TheGentleMan is always there for me, I'm glad to be friends with someone like him. I, to be fair, adore him I suppose. Since.. well- I trust him anyway.. I decided to open the door for him and well.. I guess talk to him.

"Hello TheGentleMan." I said to him while opening the door. " Hello Mr. Egg. Now uhm.. mind me to know what's bothering you? You seemed troubled after Player showing up, I was there you know." TheGentleMan said while sitting down at my bed.

"O-oh well.. I uhm.. Yes!- wait a second.." I said. I was a bit nervous but.. I trust TheGentleMan, with my whole heart.

I sat down next to him and.. started talking.

"It's just- Mr. Cheese is being so nice today.. I think somethings wrong with him? I'm not sure.. all I know is that he probably is planning my demise today.. maybe." I said. TheGentleMan chuckled a bit, I was confused why he did that tho.

"Oh Mr. Egg, You and your puns. Alright, alright, Maybe Mr. Cheese just wanted to you know.. be a lot nicer, your rivalry did end yesterday right?" The GentleMan said. He's kinda right I mean.. It did just end so I don't see why not of Mr. Cheese suddenly being nice and all of that.

"Or.. he's in love with you." TheGentleMan said. That one caught me off guard. "U- UH! S-SIR WHAT DO YOU MEAN??" I asked him, I was shocked by what he said. He chuckles again. "I mean.. to be fair.. He hasn't been telling me about how much he hated you for actually.. a week now. And usually he would talk about how much he hated you and whatnot all the time." TheGentleMan said.

A- A week now?! I thought. "M- maybe he got tired from talking about it?.." I said. "Maybe, but my point still stands." TheGentleMan said. "Who knows? What if he fights you because he wants to get closer to you?" TheGentleMan said. "Sir, He held a knife against me yesterday. What do you mean?" I said to him, sarcastically.

"Well, either way.. maybe he likes you, just keep that in mind." TheGentleMan said. "Wait, don't you love him?" I asked him. "Well.. I kinda do.. but if he wants you then I see no problem." TheGentleMan said. He left the room, leaving me silent with thoughts.

"He.. likes me?"
