Twisting and turning her bed, biting her lips, breaking down silently as she held her stomach trying to stop the pain she's feeling. Shane was less than a feet from her but he couldn't hear her pain from all that snoring. She got up, heading downstairs to drink some water. She leaned against the counter thinking to herself, how is she gonna tell Shane that she's pregnant. The belly is starting to show so it's almost time for her to.

She sat around her desk leaving the glass of water half way, trying to call her thoughts, to distribute it in her book. Nothing was able to come from her mind, she was completely out of it and at the same time upset. She was upset at the fact that she knew how she felt but for some reason she had a hard time putting it on the paper.

After sitting there with nothing coming to the head, she made her way back to the bedroom.

The next morning she had indicated to Shsne that she's going for a walk. He was a bit skeptical about at first but then allowed her.

"Keep your phone close" He said.

"Ok"

She wrapped herself up, heading to the pharmacy to get some pills to ease the pain from her stomach. As she was finished purchasing her good and began walking out, her dad called to her, she continued walking while he yelled her name. He had to go up and grab her hand to get her attention. She turned to him sharply, looking at him up and down.

"What?!! Why are you calling me?" Sje asked.

"Can't I talk to my daughter again?"

"You're daughter?? Wow....I sure don't feel like it" She said.

He sighed.

"I know your upset alright but I wasn't feeling well, I felt so bad for missing your reading"

"Mmm" She said with her hands folded making no form of hand movement.

"I almost cried when I found out I couldn't make it again" He said.

"Ohhh yeah you should feel bad, all these years...all you did was nothing and that's the problem" She said. "Is like you know you fucked up so many times, all you do is the bare minimum and try to silence me with this fake as sympathetic moment"

"Not true, I worked my ass off go get you to where you wanted to be, I paid for most of your stuff, if not all"

"And look...money ? Gone....and like I said it wasn't about the money, it was the mere fact that you dont take accountability to the shii you do" She said as her voice cracked.

She sobbed.

"Look I'm sorry if you feel like you felt neglected back then but I had a lot to deal with....your mom included and that was alot for me....and you see where that turned out"

She squeezed both side of her tear duct trying her best to hold it in.

"Again...you're missing the point" She said. "I gotta go"

"Before your boyfriend get upset?" He asked.

She stood in shock or his response then turned to him.

"Is He beating you?" He asked.

"I'm sorry what? Not you asking me about my personal life right now"

"You need to let go off that boy, he's dangerous, I warned you, I don't want to see you hurt"

She chuckled.

"You mean more than how I already am? Please, this whole act your putting on, tryna be this quote on quote father of the year....save it for the other kids you done got outside mama" She said.

"You're furious right now but I'm telling you, you need to leave him alone"

"Noo, I mean he's done more and add to my life in the ten years than you did my entire life on this earth...besides what would you know about being a real man" She ended stomping away.

She wiped her tears, walking briskly down the streets. The rain began to pour, she had no umbrella so she had to use her clothing to help her. She was about to call Shane to pick her up when a car honked at her. She continued walking, thinking it wasn't her.

The windows rolled down and she saw it was Stefon. She was shocked to see him.

"Need a ride?"

"Uhh thanks but i-"

"Hope in" He insisted.

She rushed to the car and got in. He drove off with her. She stood silent in the seat the whole time.
