After the heated argument between Ella and Samantha, she decided to call Stefon, he answered with a quickness.

"Hello?"

"You must be wondering why I'm calling so late huh"

"Nah I mean it's okay, what you want?" He asked.

"I was really thinking long and hard before I-"

"Long and hard? Hmm sound like my shaft" He giggled.

She chuckled at that statement, loud enough that it caught Shane's attention from the kitchen, he eavesdropping again.

"Yeah so I was thinking we should really hang out- I had to leave the other night and I know you wanted to chill"

He chuckled "Well talk about sudden change of heart"

"Yeah so can I come over like- tonight?"

"Uh-
Stef, this lingerie sexy huh? You can see my ass from the front"

"Who's that?"

"I- I gotta go Ella, I'll talk to you later"

She hanged up the phone then sighed a little. Shane walked over to find out what's going on.

"I can't go tonight, he's busy" She said.

"That's Kool as long as you let him know what it is"

He walked away from her but made a sharp turn.

"By the way.....I think you should leave the suitcase....."

"Why?? Wasn't the plan for me to move innn?"

"Noo actually, it's just to spend time with him make him think you like him then take his money and send it in out account, I thought we went over this" He said.

"Ok" She said in a low tone.

Shane had gone to bed now whilst Ella stayed up crying. She was disappointed at Samantha, that the task may have failed with Stefon and most of all she hadn't got time to process the fact that her father totally ditched her.

She opened her book and began writing as tears fell to her eyes.

Stuck is what I am right now, after what someone who's suppose to be my bestfriend did me, she was so foul, I don't know who to trust at this point.

She rested her head on the book and from there, she was knocked out.

The following morning, Ella woke up to two missed calls from Stefon and about fifteen from Samantha. She called Stefon but he wasn't answering. She was frustrated, soon as Shane walked in, she wiped the depression off her face. He went over to kiss her.

"Stefon dude hit you up yet?

"I got missed calls from him but right now, im not getting any response from him"

"Ohhh damn....that money would've been good"

Meanwhile Samantha met up with Ella's dad who she saw at the car wash begging for some change, at first when she walked by he was about to beg her until he realized who she was.

"I'm so glad to see you buy I'm disappointed, you didn't show up to the book fest...she's a little sad about that."

"Ohh shoots, I totally forgot to reach out to her, I was so busy caught up in some things"

"Things like loitering in the streets....you need to talk to her, don't you have a phone or something?"

"Yeah I do.....actually....perhaps I need too"

Samantha was about to walk off wheh he held her hand.

"Do you perhaps have any small change on you eh?" He asked.

She took out some money and handed it to him.

"Are you single?"

"Yes why?"

"I find that hard to believe"

Samantha shaked her head and briskly walked away.
