Chapter Nine
"This is terrible. But we got lucky, nobody got hurt." Abby said.
"Yeah, but at least we have some type of lead to who caused the explosion." Gil added.
I closed my eyes and crossed my arms.
When we finally managed to escape the dance hall, we saw what looked like three kids running away from an unconscious demon. Ban and Meliodas chased after them but they got away. I wonder who they could've been?
"Lady Julianne, Sir Meliodas. The demon is awake now." A guard came in from one of the cells.
"Thank you." Meliodas said.
Both of us started walking towards the cell until we were stopped by Lizzy and Al.
"Hold up. Are you sure you two want to go in there?" Al asked.
"Because, we all know a demon was after you years ago. This could be the same thing." Lizzy added.
"I wouldn't let anything happen to her." Meliodas said.
"Yeah, and the demon is chained in enchanted bonds. So he couldn't get out even if he tried." I stated.
"Okay just be careful." Al said.
They both moved out of the way and Meliodas and I proceeded to walk into the room. Meliodas had his sword in hand just in case something happens. He was holding it rather tightly if I may add.
I shook my head and looked around. It was fairly dark in the room. The only light source was the windows high up, but they were covered by bars.
"No! Not you again! I've already told you what you wanted to know! Leave me alone!"
The yelling startled me and I looked forward. The demon was chained but was struggling to get away like he was scared. His eyes showed fear when he looked at me. Like I've done something to him before. But, I've never even talked to him.
"I'm sorry, I don't think we've met before. If we did you would be dead already." I said.
I smiled at him in a wicked way and his eyes widened. He stared at me for a few moments before dropping his head.
"You're...... You're someone else.... I could've sworn you were her by just looking at you. But......there are a few differences."
I looked at Meliodas questioningly but he just shrugged. I walked to the demon some more and looked at his pale face.
"Were you the one that caused the explosion?"
"......yes....."
He sounded like he was giving up. Like there's nothing he could do.
"Why did you do it?"
"......My....My master needs the negative energy. We needed to kill people to make people afraid. But, we were stopped by a group of three kids..."
I nodded my head and crossed my arms.
"Do you know who they were?"
"No, but, I know their appearances. One of them had pink hair, brown eyes, and he was really tall for his age. The second one had white hair, brownish red eyes, and he was also very tall. But the last one, she looked just like you. She had brown hair, green eyes, she was short, and......she carried that sword in her hands."
The demon motion his head to Meliodas. My eyes widened in shock. How could a kid carry the same exact weapon Meliodas has.
Meliodas's face also showed shock and confusion. We both know that his sword was kept away somewhere safe during the whole wedding and party. So, it must have been a different sword, right?
"Thank you....for your cooperation.." I mumbled.
I turned on my heel and walked out of the room with Meliodas behind me. Once we made it back to the others they flooded us with questions.
"What happened?!"
"What did he say?!"
Were the questions that were asked. It annoyed me a bit but I gave them answers.
"Apparently, the demon said he caused the explosion to collect negative energy. But he was stopped by three kids....." I said.
My eyes narrowed as I crossed my arms and looked at the ground.
"What else?" I heard Ivette ask.
"....He also told us that one of the kids looked like Julianne. Except she had green eyes instead of Julianne's brown ones."
"Wait, the girl had green eyes? I remember seeing a girl like that with two boys at her side. They seemed like they were in a rush. From behind, they looked just like Julianne, Gil, and Ban." King said floating next to Meliodas with his green pillow in hand.
"Heh, that's funny. Ivette and I ran into a couple of kids like that early in the morning. But, I literally ran into a kid. He had my hair color and reddish brown eyes." Ban stated wrapping an arm around Ivette.
"That's true, I thought I saw you with them. But it was a different person." Ivette added.
Abby sighed and rubbed her head.
"This is getting confusing. Why don't we just search for them? They couldn't have gotten far." She suggested.
"That's a great idea. Let's go kick some ass!" Al yelled and ran off.
I sweat dropped but followed her. If we're going to find out why the events that occurred tonight happened, we have to find those kids. They must know what's going on.

"Okay! That was almost a disaster!" I yelled.
I let my hair loose from the tight bun it was in and placed my sword on a table. I sighed loudly and turned to my friends. They seemed sad, like death worthy sad.
"Guys, this isn't our fault. It was those demons that caused the damage. We did what we had to do." I said sitting in a random chair.
"But..... We are now also at fault for ruining our parents wedding." Stella mumbled with her head towards the ground.
I stared at her for a few seconds before looking at everyone else. They all nodded at me with frowns on their faces. That's when I finally frowned and looked at the ground with my hands tightening into fists.
"....I know.... I knew that.....but, their wedding would've been ruined even if we weren't here. Nobody died today because of us. The demons didn't collect any negative energy because of us! We are the solution to this worlds survival! We can't just call it quits just because we ruined our parents wedding. Our job right now is to gather all of the ancient artifacts and make sure our parents stay alive. But..... If you want to walk away...... THEN I'LL DO EVERYTHING BY MYSELF!!" I yelled standing again.
My friends stared at me before one by one, they stood as well.
"You're right. We're not supposed to be here in the first place." Tyler said.
"We're supposed to be in our hellish time." Peter added.
"Right, and we're not-
"Letting you do this alone." Stella and Luna said
"We're with you until our last breaths." Liam stated smiling at me.
"Thank you, all of you." I said a smile also starting to form on my lips.
"OHHHHH!! We should have a team name. We never got settle that!" Luna exclaimed.
"Ohhh, here she goes again." Tyler groaned and flopped down onto a chair.
"I've got one! I think we should call ourselves the Six Deadly Kids!" Peter exclaimed while hopping next to Luna.
"Oh that's perfect Peter! I love it!"
The two smiled at each other seeming to be in their own world. I laughed a bit before looking to my right.
"What do you think Liam?" I asked.
"I like the name, we should stick with it." He replied smiling.
"Yeah....... The Six Deadly Kids huh?"
