But I have a little question for y'all! Who do you think these kids parents are?
It may seem obvious to some of you but I'll give shout outs to anyone that answers this question correctly!

"Damn! Let me go you stupid bird!" Rada yelled loudly.

She kept pounding her fists against the birds claws but it did nothing. Suddenly, the bird dropped her on the snow covered ground and she scrambled to get away. But then, the bird caught her by the hood of her jacket so she took it off and fell to the ground again.
Rada quickly ran away and hid in what looked like a small tube made out of snow. Now, that she was hidden she had to keep a sharp eye out to make sure the bird doesn't find her.

"Come on Rada think.....how are you going to get past that thing." She whispered.

Rada knew that she was at the top of the mountain which scared her. She was afraid of heights so she has no idea on how to get down.

Rada then peeked her head out a bit to see where the bird was. But, her mouth was suddenly covered and she was pulled back. Her hand immediately went up to break this persons arm until she realized who it was.

"Liam! How.....how did you get up here?!" She whisper yelled.

"I climbed, now we need to get out of here." He whispered back.

"You.....you came to rescue me?"

"Uh, isn't that what friends do?"

"Thank you, so....how are we going to get down?"

"Well, I think we should jump-"

"No! No no no no! I am not doing that!"

"Fine, what ideas do you have in mind then?"

Rada closed her eyes trying to think.

"Do you have ropes?" She asked.

"No."

"Grappling hooks?"

"Nope."

"Swords?"

"Ummm, I have this!"

Liam pulled out one of his knives and held it so Rada can see.

"Oh great, the bird can cut us up so we're easy to eat." Rada said while crossing her arms to keep herself warm

"Hey, a knife can have a million uses. You just don't know it." Liam stated while flipping the knife in his hands.

But, the knife slipped and got caught in the ceiling of the snow tube. It dropped with a 'clank' sound and the tube broke revealing the brunette and the pinkette.
The bird perked up at the noise and started to look around. Rada glared at Liam for giving away their position. Liam only chuckled nervously while rubbing his neck. That's when the bird noticed them and screeched.

"Time to go!" Liam yelled and grabbed Rada's hand.

They both ran away from the gigantic bird knowing that if they stopped, they will be supper for the bird.
Rada looked forward at the path they were taking and realized there was a cliff up ahead. Liam didn't seem to mind, maybe he wanted to jump from the start.

"Liam I can't! I can't jump!" Rada yelled.

"You can do it! We can do it! Let's go!" Liam yelled as they jumped off the mountain.

Liam was quick at adjusting their position. He put the shield that was on his back under his bottom, and pulled Rada on his lap.
Rada wrapped her arms around Liam's neck as they made impact with the snow. They were now sledding down the mountain in pain from the bumps and rocks.

"I think we lost him!" Liam yelled.

That's when the bird appeared in front of them.

"I don't think so!" Rada yelled.

Liam quickly leaned both of their bodies to the right into a narrow cave to avoid the birds attack. They crashed through some thin icy and were knocked off the shield. The two landed on the cold floor in pain.

"Ow..." Rada mumbled.

"Rada! Are you okay?!" Liam exclaimed and crawled over to her to help her up.

"Yeah.... I think I'm fine.."

Rada stood up with Liam's help and rubbed her head.

"Hopefully the bird will leave us alone now." She said.

Liam nodded at her before looking around. He grabbed his shield off the floor and put it in front of them both. The two slowly started to move forward afraid that something else would come out. That bird just made them cautious. It must've been the ancient guardian Peter talked about.

Rada held onto the back of Liam's jacket tightly as a memory came back to her from a few years ago.

"This kinda feels like that day you saved me. You know, back in our time."

Liam looked back at Rada before ruffling your hair.

"I remember that......but...I couldn't stand that sad look on your face...."

"Where are you.......Liam!"

Rada ran through the burning building with her fathers sword in hand. Her face was still stained red from the tears that cascaded down her face earlier. She was just a mess, her hair was messy, dirt was spattered on her face here and there, and she had burns on her arms and legs.

"Liam!!" She yelled again.

Liam was very important to her. She's known him for the longest time thanks to her parents. If she lost Liam too, she might as well die herself.

"Well.... Look what we have here."

Rada froze and turned around. There stood three demons smirking at her 10 year old self. She was afraid, she didn't know how to fight. Her mother kept her away from her father's sword saying it was too dangerous to use at her age. What was she supposed to do?
That's when one of the demons picked her up by the back of her collar and took a good look at her. His eyes widened but then he smirked.

"I can recognize those green eyes anywhere. Never thought that pipsqueak would have a daughter."

The demon laughed as he shook Rada a bit. The two demons behind him also laughed at the comment.
Rada was petrified. She could feel fresh tears start to fall from her eyes.

"P-please....d-don't kill me!" She cried.

The demon only chuckled and her shook the girl more.

"Why do you think I would listen to you?"

That's when the demon took out one of his knives and pointed it at Rada's chest.

"You'll get to see your mommy and daddy really soo---AHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

The demon dropped Rada as he burst into black dust. The two demons that were standing behind him looked down at his remains in shock. But there stood a boy with short pink locks and probably one of the angriest looks ever. Rada looked up at her savior realizing in was the boy she was looking for. He held a shiny silver sword in his hands that had sparks of lightning emitting from it. The same power his father used in battle.

"You demons.... You...you ruin everything!!!" Liam yelled.

Rada watched as Liam killed the demons in anger. This was a whole new side of Liam that she's never seen before. He's usually a gentle caring person like his mom and dad. The only explanation for this behavior is something bad must've happened to him.

Once the demons were dealt with. Liam grabbed Rada and ran out of the burning building. The whole place collapsed after they made it outside. The two children watched the flames grow as it burned more of the house into ashes. At this point, Liam's tough act broke and he burst into tears. Rada was surprised at this change and stared at him in shock.

"They're gone!....they killed them!....those demons killed my parents!" He cried and looked at Rada.

Tears quickly fell down his face and he closed his eyes tightly to try to stop them. It did nothing but continued the sobs that emitted from Liam's mouth.

Rada looked down at the ground and clenched her fists. The same thing happened to Liam too. She couldn't cry again. She has to stay strong for both of them.

"They......they killed my parents too..."

At these words, the sobs Liam were making ceased and he looked at his friend.

"They told me to make a better future for myself.......that's exactly what I'm going to do....your parents would want you to do the same!" She exclaimed as a single tear rolled down her face.

She looked up at Liam again and they stared at each other. Liam wiped away his tears and gripped his sword tightly.

"You're right..... We'll do it....for them...." He whispered.

"And we'll have to get the others too.... The twins.... The fairy..... And the immortal child..." Rada stated.

"Stella, Luna, Peter, and Tyler...."

"Yes..... The only way we're going to win is if we stick together... We'll make everything better again..."

Rada grabbed Liam's hand and led him away from the remains of his home. Liam looked back one last time before turning around. The demons will surely pay for this. They'll pay for everything they've done to their families.
