Unique Mission
Omen and Hollow decided to go outside for a while, they knew which parts of the city they could go to without being seen. Gotham's a dangerous city so not many people are out at night and they knew how to avoid Batman. Since Joker was putting his plan into action that night it wouldn't be to hard to stay out of sight.
They jumped across rooftops and raced each other while they smiled and laughed. They even stopped a few crimes simply because they were around and didn't want to just walk away from it. They made sure that no one saw them though, it would be a pain to deal with all of that hero nonsense.
After several hours they went home and Danny leaned on Richard as he typed away on the laptop. Then they got a message and Danny opened it while Richard looked over his shoulder. Danny raised an eyebrow, "It's from Batman, he says he wants to talk to us about something."
Richard read through the message, "He also wants to bring a few people to meet us. So do you want to say yes or no, I'm sure we can hold our own against whoever he brings if they fight us."
Danny shrugged, "I kind of want to know what he wants to talk about and who he's bringing."
Richard smirked, "Curious little cat." He kissed Danny's cheek while the halfa laughed, Richard would sometimes call him a cat and he didn't mind.
"At least it probably won't kill me, so what do you think?"
Richard hummed, "Let's go, I'm kind of curious myself." Danny nodded and sent a message saying that they'd meet him, they always chose the when and where. After that was done they both made dinner and trained a bit before they went to sleep for the night.
*The Batcave*
Bruce had been waiting a minute or two for Omen's and Hollow's reply and hoped that they'd say yes. When they said that they would he actually smiled a little and looked at when and where they'd meet. They'd meet at an abandoned building near the edge of Gotham tomorrow night at midnight.
At least they had said yes, no one really knew what they would do, if they weren't interested in something they'd probably say no. Now that he knew they were teenagers he had even more questions about them and it annoyed him. He rubbed his eyes as he got up and put his cowl on, now he needed to do one more thing.
Batman zeta beamed to Mt. Justice and the team came to meet him, they were all staying at the mountain that night so he knew they'd be there. Red Arrow, Artemis, Aqualad, Miss Martian, Kid Flash, and Superboy all walked into the room. They were confused as to why Batman had showed up at the mountain this late but they weren't going to complain.
They gathered in front of Batman and waited for a second before Batman started talking. "This mission isn't like the other ones you've had, it's much different and the situation is unique." They all started asking questions at once and Batman waited for several seconds to see if they'd shut up.
When they didn't he mentally sighed, "Enough." They all shut up immediately and he continued, "Have any of you heard of Omen and Hollow?"
They looked at each other before Kid Flash seemed to remember something. "I heard my Uncle talking about them once but I've only heard of the names."
"Omen and Hollow sell information to heroes and villains and they always work together. The information they sell to villains has never lead to someone getting hurt which is why no one has tried to catch them. Very few people have seen them before but their information is never wrong which is why people go to them for information."
Red Arrow crossed his arms, "Have you ever met them."
"Once, they're not what I expected but it was still easy to tell that you shouldn't mess with them."
Aqualad raised an eyebrow, "So what is the mission?"
"I've arranged a meeting with Omen and Hollow, your going to be coming with me to meet them. Once you do I'll explain everything to you as well as Hollow and Omen, that's all for now." Batman left the mountain and everyone was confused, they had no clue what was going on.
*The next day-Omen and Hollow*
They had gotten two jobs that day and the power system nearly blew because one of the parts broke. The power system converts the energy Danny naturally gives off to energy that they can use. The only thing they actually had to pay for was food and they had plenty of money for that.
They had gone out that day to buy food as well as a few other things either because then wanted it or needed it. Danny and teleported them back to the haunt and they put everything away before watching a movie. They watched the clock for when they'd have to leave to meet Batman and whoever he was bringing.
They eventually got bored and tried to figure out what to do to pass the time and Danny smiled. "Care to dance?"
Richard laughed, "Sure." Danny used the laptop to put on some music and the two danced together. Danny was leading this time and they couldn't stop smiling like idiots, they couldn't help but be happy. After over an hour of dancing, three hours of training, cooking dinner and eating, and watching another movie it was almost time to go.
Richard got his cloak and mask before he covered his head with his hood as Danny transformed into his ghost form. They left the haunt and ran across rooftop after rooftop to get to where they were meeting the hero. They could have teleported but this was much more fun, they didn't get to go outside everyday so they wanted to make it last.
Once they got to the abandoned building, which was an old warehouse, and they hid.
