(TRIGGER WARNING! I don't have a clear term for what it is and don't want to offend anyone if it isn't what it actually is. But, this chapter is kinda sad.)

Tsuyu picked up Setsuki and watched a Setsuna chase Samidare. She tied her hair into its weird bow and into a bun. They were going to the beach for the end of the summer!

Setsuna was staying with the Asui's since her parents were... going through a rough time. Tsuyu was wearing a white and green one piece. It was a turtleneck and she wore black shorts with it. She didn't like sexualizing her body. It was weird. Then there was Setsuna. She wore a dark green bikini and sandals. She wore a letterman jacket and her hair was tied in a ponytail.

"Hey~ Samidare. Can you get me a juice box?" Setsuna asked her cousin. He rolled his eyes and grabbed the apple juice.

As they finished the drive and were finally at the beach, Tsuyu helped place everything down. They were doing a firework show near there end of the day.

Setsuna dragged Tsuyu into the water and splashed her. Tsuyu smiled.

"You've made a mistake."

"Oh really?" She stuck her tongue out. She had taken off the letterman jacket and put on a white jacket that was suited for the water.

Tsuyu kicked a large wave of water in Setsuna's face. Tsuyu could see some of her friends from Middle school. Correction, bullies. Tsuyu never had many friends. She didn't even talk to hem.

"Tsu, I'm gonna grab my surfboard. Give me a second." Setsuna giggled. She ran to grab the colorful board and swam out. Tsuyu has surged before but, she stopped when she accidentally wiped out and got a bad concussion. Tsuyu waved Setsuna goodbye and watched her surf. (That one Peppa pug episode where they go surfing.)

Tsuyu had been slightly jealous that she was too scared to surf again. She was too scared of falling off again. She was told she would've died if she hadn't been saved twenty seconds before she was.

Tsuyu was kind of scared of water but she could manage to be in it. She just left the second she was countered by a wave or someone started to scream. She always got nervous and ran. She felt like a coward but it made her feel safe!

Tsuyu had been accepted to UA and she constantly got nervous. Her friend, Habuko, wasn't going to be there since she was going to a different school. Tsuyu just felt nervous about being alone again. Both of her parents were in the military so she was usually left alone with her cousin and siblings. It made her pretty sad and she didn't have many friends.

Tsuyu wasn't the best looking but she was pretty cute. No one confessed their love to her or anything like that but she had people call her cute. People, on the hand, have complemented Setsuna on her looks and asked her if they wanted to go on a date. She usually said no but sometimes said yes.

"C'mon Tsu! It's really nice!" Setsuna yelled as she began to stand up.

Tsuyu stood up on the surfboard. She was twelve years old and it was a great day for surfing. That's why she was competing in the competition. She had a good trainer and she loved doing it.

As the contestants began swimming, Tsuyu got a bit nervous. Her parents and siblings were watching. She stared as a large wave came in. The contestants paddled into the wave, before standing up.

Tsuyu was one of the first ones to stand up. She rode on it until it became smaller and she was back on the shore.

They continued to do it. This was live tv too, so she was trying to make sure she didn't fail.

That plan backfired.

Around the last one, it was the biggest wave. A few people had lost and had to drop out. Or they were injured.

Her timing was perfect! She slid her knee into her chest to stand up the second she was ready. She was going against four other people, Tsu was probably the worst and newest at this.

As she stood up, she got really nervous. She was breathing heavily as her brother and sister cheered her on. Well, Satsuki was really young and could barely talk. Her brother and cousin were cheering like her parents were.

Tsuyu thought she was going to pass out.

The wave started to collapse on her. Tsu hyperventilated as she felt herself get submerged within the water. She screamed.

Setsuna grabbed Samidare's face and covered his eyes. Setsuki was asleep as Tsuyu wiped out.

Tsuyu could totally swim but she was so stiffened that she could barely breath. Multiple waves came in and treated her like a toy, throwing her around. She tried to open her eyes only to be greeted by blurry water. She swam to the top but her surfboard hitting her in the head made her bleed badly. That's when a rough wave brought her back under.

She couldn't breathe and she felt some of her bones pop and break. She was totally gonna die.

'So this is what death is.' She thought as she sank. That's when she lost consciousness.

It took two minutes to find her and she was pulled out of the water by the coast guard officer everyone called Selkie. He was friends with her dad and her godfather. (Person who would take care of you if your parents passed away for those who don't know.)

They got her to a hospital after she wiped out. She was going to be ok and Tsu was forever grateful Selkie was there to save her life.

"No thanks Setsuna. You know I don't like surfing anymore."

"Tsu, c'mon. You're never gonna get over it if you don't try."

"No."

"Fine. Let's play volleyball with Samidare then!" Samidare shook his head. Last time they played, Setsuna spiked the ball onto his head and he fell into the sand.

As the hours passed, the sun went down. They stopped going into the water because it got too cold. That's when the fireworks went off.

It was so pretty. She didn't want it to end but they had to go home eventually.

Too bad. Tomorrow was the first day of school as well. Dang it.
