Hiccups POV

Gothi shook her head. Crap, this can't be happening to me! Gobber moved his hand over my head, I looked up and Gothi shook her head, yes. No, no! I can't kill dragons what am I going to do...... I know! I'll run away. 

"You did it! You get to kill the dragon," Gobber said excitedly.

I felt myself being picked up by people and carried out of the ring. As soon as we were out of the ring they set me down and everyone swarmed me. Everyone was pressing around me, congratulating me. It was starting to get a little over bearing so I made up a lame excuse.

"He-hey can I go to the bathroom room?," I asked.

"Sure."

"Go right a head."

"Make way, Hiccups got to go!"

It seemed now that people actually cared for me, now that I get to kill a dragon. I slipped away and ran into the forge. I grabbed a basket and started to fill it with all my drawings and some tools. Once I got everything wanted from the forge I ran to my house as stealthily as I could. I ran up to my room an shoved as much of my stuff as I could into my basket. I looked around my room one last time and saw the helmet that my dad gave me, and out of spite I grabbed it and ran out the back door and into the woods.
"We're leaving. Let's pack up. Looks like you and me are taking a little vacation, forever." I sighed as I set the basked down.

"Toothless?," I called, looking around for any sign of my only real friend.
"Come on, this is no time for hiding, we have places to be, things to do!"
As soon as I found him, I buckled my bag to his saddle and took off. I hoped to never see this place again.

Astrid's POV

I watched in vain as Hiccup was carried out of the ring. How did he win, one month ago he was a scared little fish bone! No one gets that good especially him. I new that him being so good had to do with where he went when he went to the forest. I walked out of the ring and saw a crowd of Vikings and Hiccup running away from them. So I followed him, he ran into the forge. Now why would he go into there, I guess there's only one way to find out. When I walked in I could hear some clanking coming from a room off to the side suddenly it stopped and Hiccup ran out carrying a basket. I followed him to his house and decided to wait for when he come out and give him a scare. I waited for about two minutes when I herd the back door open. Than I saw Hiccup run into the forest. I've got you now. Wow, he can run fast for such a little kid! I saw him run threw this two rocks, and I followed, as soon as I walked threw them I saw a Night Fury! Wait Hiccup's still in there! When I got down from the rocks I called Hiccups name but no one answered. That means, NO, No, he can't be gone! What am I going to tell Stoic? The tribe? I raced back to Berk and tried to find Stoic, when he bumped into me.

"Have you seen Hiccup?" He asked me.

"Yes," I replied.

"Well than where is he?" Stoic required.

"Gone," I simply replied.

"What!" He yelled.

"He was taken, by, by a Night Fury." I whispered.

"No, no." Stoic said in shock, "How?"

I explained to him everything but he just stared of into the distance, than I heard him mumble, "First Valka now Hiccup, I will kill every dragon I fight."
