"Lilykit be careful!" Frozenfern called out as a small tan she kit with green eyes rushed out of the nursery.

"I'm fine mama!" Lilykit squeaked as she began to hop around like a frog giggling to herself.

Frozenfern settled down watching her, before her attention was drawn to two cats entering the camp.
It was Nightdusk and Brownpaw.

Nightdusk had offered to look after Brownpaw with his apprentice duties and training while Frozenfern had Lilykit to take care of.

Nightdusk was carrying a crow while Brownpaw caught a small snake.

They must've done hunting training..

Frozenfern assumed.
She was quite impressed that her son had caught a grass snake, grass snakes are aggressive creatures as most snakes are.

Frozenfern was also surprised to see Brownpaw laughing with his father. The two chatted a bit before Nightdusk padded over towards her.

"You're good with him.." Frozenfern said suddenly.

"He doesn't seem to like me very much."

Nightdusk's expression saddened.

"I'm sure he does, you just need time to talk to him is all.." Nightdusk comforted rasping his sandpaper like longue over her ear.

Frozenfern only sighed deeply watching Brownpaw glare at the other apprentices, his tail lashing.

"He doesn't seen to get along with anyone else his age.." She muttered sadly.

Nightdusk followed her gaze and he grunted.

"He'll find a friend soon." Nightdusk mewed solemnly, his tail wrapped neatly around his grey paws.
