Brown paws scuffed at the earth as the small brown tom sighed in what seemed like annoyance.

"Brownpaw...I'm so glad I get to mentor you.... my son.."

Brownpaw looked up to meet his mothers blue eyes, glittering with pride.

"Say how about we do some battle training huh?" Frozenfern suggested amusement shone in her eyes.

Brownpaw only rolled his eyes.

"Come on! It'll be fun! I promise!" Frozenfern coaxed smiling, she flicked her tan tail signalling him to follow.

Brownpaw followed without question, his dark brown paws padding across the undergrowth toward the training grounds.
