Jeremy laughed, throwing his free arm over his head in a futile attempt to block the rain pouring relentlessly down on them. Michael pulled his hood on and ran with Jeremy in tow, their fingers intertwined. He could only faintly hear Jeremy's quiet laugh over the pattering of the storm and the splashing under their feet. They reached Michael's car, but he hesitated as he reached to unlock door.

"Wait, Jeremy, you have to kiss me!" He yelled over the distant thunder.

"You dumbass, it's raining, and we're gonna get sick!" Jeremy attempted to reason with him.

"No, it's like we're in some dramatic romance movie!" He pleaded.

"Oh my god, you're so lucky I love you!" Jeremy shouted, pushing up on his toes to press his lips to his boyfriend's. "Can we go home now?"

Michael smiled and unlocked his door. He swung their intertwined hands, letting go as Jeremy rushed into the car. He threw the door shut and ran around to the other side. Jeremy pushed the door open, and Michael slamed it closed and sighed.

"If we get colds now, it's your fault," Jeremy shook his head slowly, careful not to shake the water from his hair.

Michael giggled, "I couldn't help it."

"Just for that, I'm picking the movie tonight," Jeremy teased with a small smile.

"Fair enough," Michael grinned before starting the car.
