Not even ten minutes later we were pulling up into the parking lot of the carnival. 

Considering the sun was setting when Harry had picked me up, it was completely dark and all of the carnival was lit up in lights. The sight was amazing. 

After Harry paid for our tickets to get in, this time I offered to pay for mine but he wouldn't have it, we changed into our carnival outfits. 

Harry was already done when I got out. His back was to me so I walked around him and into his view. 

"You ready?" 

He just stared at me. 

"Uh, Harry? You okay?" 

He just continued to stare at me. 

I looked down embarrassed. 

"Look, I know that this outfit is nothing compared to the dress I was wearing, but I didn't think I looked bad." 

Finally, he responded. 

"No, no, no!! I was just wondering how it's possible for someone to look so beautiful no matter what they wear." 

I looked up shocked a blush quickly rising to my cheeks. 

I needed to stop blushing so much!! 

He chuckled at my expression before grabbing my hand and starting to walk. 

I knew that the first thing we would have to do was ride the bumper cars, so I led him over to them. 

After that, we got on the Tilt-a-Whirl and then the carousel. 

Next, I managed to convince him to get on the roller coaster. It took a little haggling and bargaining to get him on, but he did nonetheless. He screamed during the entire ride and I couldn't help but laugh. I knew that it was mean, but he was just so darn adorable!! 

Once we got off of the roller coaster, Harry dragged me over to the Ferris Wheel. 

"You got me to go on that death machine, so now I get to pick." 

After waiting in line for around five minutes we finally got on. 

As we slowly went up, we both looked out at the view, not saying anything. I could feel Harry's hand in mine, slowly rubbing his thumb across the back. 

It was really romantic. 

Once we got to the top, the view we saw was mesmerizing. I blinked a couple of times as if I was taking a picture to remember forever. All of the city's lights were on and it felt like you could see for miles. The moon was high in the sky and the stars were faintly twinkling. 

I was too busy looking around in awe to notice as Harry lifted his hand to my chin. He turned my head towards his and looked in my eyes for a second before slowly leaning in. I sat there in shock until his lips lightly landed on mine. My eyes fluttered closed and it was like I could suddenly move again. It was just a simple kiss but I could feel fireworks exploding inside of me, leaving behind a pleasant warmth that I had never felt before. His lips were so soft and warm and I just knew that if I had been standing my knees would have given out. 

After we pulled away, he leaned his forehead against mine. I kept my eyes closed trying to keep the feeling of his lips against mine for as long as possible. 

When I finally opened them, I saw Harry's green eyes staring back into mine. His hand slowly moved back to tuck a piece of hair behind my ear. Before we knew it we were back on the ground. 

I promptly dragged him to the games. 

We came across ring toss and my inner child came out. I pulled my hair into a ponytail, using the hair tie I had put in my purse, and took out a dollar to play the game. I saw a giant brown teddy bear that I had my eye on. I played the game, getting the first two rings around the pegs, but missing the last three. I played two more times getting the same exact results before Harry stepped up. 

"Here, let me try." 

I stepped back giving him room. He pulled out a dollar just as I did and handed to the attendant. 

One. 

Two. 

Three. 

Four. 

Five. 

Perfect score on his first try. 

"Great job! You can pick any of the large prizes." 

He looked at all of the choices before settling on the exact teddy bear I had wanted. 

Well, at least one of us gets it. 

He turned around holding the teddy bear. I was about to congratulate him on his win but he held the stuffed animal out to me. 

"Here you go, for you." 

I looked at the bear and took it into my arms. 

"R-really?!" 

"Yeah! Of course! I saw you looking at it!" 

I laughed and clutched the ginormous bear to my chest snuggling into its fluffy brown fur. I looked up at Harry with a smile on my face, one that hasn't left my face since he asked me out. 

"Thank you, Harry." 

"You're welcome." 

He once again took my hand and started walking. He looked at the watch on his wrist and then back to me. 

"Well, it's getting late, we should probably go." 

I nodded, kinda sad that it had to end. 

We headed back to the car, hand in hand, stopping to get cotton candy on the way. 

We set the stuffed bear into the back and climbed into the car, Harry opening the door for me once more. He drove me back to the house. 

Once there, he ran to the passenger door and opened it for me. He got the bear out of the back holding it in one arm. He grabbed my hand and walked me up to the door. Setting the bear down, he turned to me and grabbed my other hand as well. 

"Leah, I had such an amazing time with you tonight and I regret not asking you out sooner. I know tonight had probably been the most cliche date ever, but I wanna do one more cliche thing." 

Looking him in the eyes, I nodded, telling him to continue. 

"Will you be my girlfriend?" 

"I'd love to be your girlfriend, Harry." 

His grin got so wide that his dimples were more prominent than I had ever seen them. His beautiful eyes lit up with happiness and excitement. It was extraordinharry. (I'm sorry, I had to.) 

He leaned in for a kiss and I gladly complied leaning in as well. The fireworks exploded and that pleasant warmth spread through me like wildfire. He pulled away, picking up the teddy bear and handing it to me before quickly pecking my lips again. 

 Then, he walked back to his car and got in, but he didn't leave. Only once I walked into the house and shut the door, did I hear the car drive off. 

I leaned against the door and bit my lip, trying to keep my face from suffering the ginormous smile that I knew was coming. 

I didn't know what was gonna happen in the future, but one thing was for sure. 

This night was the best night of my entire life and I will never forget it.
