This is how I pictured Sophia. Blue eyes, white hair, looks innocent but means business. 

Sophia Louisa Grindelwald knew of her family's history. She knew the things her grandfather did. Her parents moved from Bulgaria when she was just before her 10th birthday (she was an April baby) hoping that their child would not bear the burden of her grandfather's crimes. They had kept in touch with Albus Dumbledore and thought it best to have Sophia go to Hogwarts. Albus had been made Headmaster at Hogwarts after the defeat of Gellert. Albus knew not to punish the girl for her family's crimes and as he spent time learning about her he could see greatness within her. Sophia was surprisingly sorted into Slytherin in 1971. Albus had assumed as much. Sophia was smart, calculating, resourceful, and determined, but she was also loyal, brave, and kind.

When it came to Sophia's great-great-great aunt, she knew just to leave her be. She had made it a point to keep out of contact with the family since Gellert's crimes became public. Though she had sent Sophia a first edition signed for her history of Magic textbook when she started Hogwarts. Inscribed was a note that stated to look at her keynotes for any additional help. Which was very helpful when Sophia was in Hogwarts as Professor Binns was a down right bore, and in her option not a very good teacher. 

Over her years at Hogwarts she grew to hate Sirius Black, James Potter, and anyone who had a prejudice against Slytherins. Severus Snape had been a close friend of hers along with Lily Evans. She was often found around the two and when Snape became a pain, she was found around Lily more alone. Lily had a deep friendship with Sophia and in turn became friends with Remus Lupin. Sophia and Lily helped Remus whenever he needed, especially when it came to classes missed from being ill. Sophia had also befriended Regular Black, younger brother to Sirius Black. He was very simple minded and she was very quick to point it out to him. Near their fifth year when Snape snapped at Lily and called her a Mudblood, Sophia and Lily decided that it was time to cut ties with him. Ending their friendship, and creating a bond just got them. This in turn allowed James Potter to become a bigger prat in her book, but he was trying to gain Lily's favor. Which after nearly a year happened, surprisingly. Lily and James began dating and this meant that Sophia was now hanging with a crowd she wished she wasn't in.

Remus was nice, and very welcoming to Sophia. Peter as well, though he was more shy and towards the back. Sirius still made his snide remarks and jabs at Sophia. Remus kept warning him to back off, but you know some people just need to learn their lessons themselves. Sophia in true Slytherin fashion showed her cleverness, determination, and resourcefulness. James, Peeves, and Lily had even helped her lay down all the groundwork for the master prank Sophia had planned. When the day finally came at the end of sixth year, nearly everyone had their laugh at Sirius Black and his massive black mane. One would have thought that Sirius himself was the werewolf. He could enjoy a good prank being pulled off and he appreciated the effort put in. Which made him see Sophia in a new light. One that wasn't clouded by deep rooted prejudice, but one that made him lighter and feel weird. Which was all that James had heard when they got back to his house at the end of the year. James was quick to let Lily know all about it and when they planned to meet up for dates they would bring their friends with them as blind dates. Which had worked, surprisingly again. Sirius and Sophia began dating before the start of their last year. Both of them were very passionate with each other, and very jealous when another tried to make their way into their relationship. Sophia and Regulus had fallen out due to his ideals and the thought of war coming about. Sophia and Lily had graduated top of their class, and everyone was so proud of them.

Right after graduation Sophia and Sirius had gotten married in a small office at the ministry, only James and Lily attended, and a small home and shortly before Sophia had given birth to Elena Remy Jamie Black yes four names. Daughter of Sophia Grindelwald and Sirius Black.

Sirius quickly made a speech after Elena's birth about how he fell in love with only one person in the first 18 years of his life. That was his wife, Sophia Louisa Grindelwald Black. He never knew he could love another, one who was so small and looked like a good combination of his beautiful wife and himself. She had her father's dark hair, which the next day turned red like Lily's when the infant looked up at her Godmother, and her mother's dark brown eyes. She was born on October 31st, 1977 and the love her parents shared for her was never ending.

Very quickly the war made itself known and was rapidly approaching the pair. They knew that they needed to go into hiding. Sophia, her parents, James Potter, and Siruis were the only ones who knew where newly wed Blacks were hiding. Voldemort knew that Elena was going to be a powerful witch and wanted her raised under his ideals. Knowing that Sophia's parents were not as strong as they once were he made quick efforts to have them taken care of and see if they could help locate the child. Despite his and his followers best efforts her parents refused to give up their child and grandchild, and died vowing to protect them both as best as they could. Sophia had been the next one on Voldemort's list. He knew he could lure her out, and make it seem that he knew where she and her family were hiding. He had tried enlisting Severus and Regulus to this task but neither could accomplish it. Sophia was an accomplished MedWitch and oftentimes went to the homes of injured witches or wizards to help. Of course as long as everything checked out, they were in a war. Sophia had gone into one house of a trusted ally only to be killed on the spot by Bellatrix Lestrange. Who laughed as she murdered the blood traitor. Bellatrix was happy to share the news all down the street that she had murdered Sophia Grindelwald, and was now out to find Elena.

When news reached Sirius about his wife, he took Elena deeper into hiding and only told James where they were. Sirius held his daughter closely every moment he could. When James told him about the Longbottoms and how Voldemort was now looking for them and Harry, Sirius told him to make Peter the secret keeper. Sirius knew he was all Elena had, and did not want to leave her alone, knowing that times were getting darker with each passing moment. Then the night of October 31st 1981 happened, Elena's 4th birthday. Sirius had finished getting Elena ready for travel to see her Uncles to show her new broom abilities. When they got to Peter's house they noticed it vacant, he quickly rushed them to James and Lily's house. The door was open and the house dark and silent. Sirius feared the worst and placed Elena in the car that Lily insisted they kept. He told Elena to stay there till he returns. He locked the car and placed a silencing charm on it, in case Elena starts to cry. As he walks in, all he can do is cry over his fallen friend and brother. He rushes upstairs to see Harry alive in his bed crying as Lily lays dead on the floor in the nursery.

Hagrid had shortly arrived at the residence at Dumbledore's request to take Harry to his aunt's house. Sirius stated that he needed and could take Harry. He was his godfather, and it is what Lily and James would have wanted. Hagrid denied the request and Sirius conceded after an argument and gave Hagrid his flying motorcycle, telling him he wouldn't need it. His only request was for Hagrid to bring Elena with him on his travels. Hagrid agreed knowing he was going to be seeing Dumbledore at the house he was going to. Sirius then gave Elena to him and charmed her into the side car. Then he rushed off into the night. He was now the hunter and Peter was his prey.

When Hagrid arrived at 4 Privet Drive with Baby Harry and 3 years old Elena, Albus Dumbledore could not say he was surprised to see her. Albus took over the custody of Elena after dropping Harry off on the porch of his aunt's house. Professor Mcgonagall looked at the 4 year old and could see her students in her expressions, even as she was relaxed and sleeping.

Albus knew the only family Elena had left was the Blacks and he knew that they would try to take her in but Sirius had left instructions not to allow this and Dumbledore knew that they would try to bring their ideals into her mind. Albus and Minerva had kept the girl with them at Hogwarts while the Minister of Magic tried to find someone to take in the young girl. While Albus' heart went out towards his old friend's great-granddaughter, he knew that he could not take her in permanently. Gellert Grindelwald, though locked away in his castle, was not able to be given the girl in fear that he would train her in the ways of dark arts. The minister had nearly given up when an old face walked in the office requesting to speak with the minister regarding the young child.
