Young Sirius Black, before he went away to Azkaban. 

When Remus was in need to restock his chocolate stash, he or Lyall would take Elena with him to Diagon Alley to Sugarplum's Sweet Shop and then stop at Florean Fortescue's for ice cream. One of these days happened to be right before the start of the Hogwarts term of 1986. Elena was walking around Sugarplum's when two identical redhead boys noticed her hair changing colors while looking through the candy selection. Quickly making their presence known they run up to her and introduce themselves as Fred and George. They were fun to talk to and seemed to really enjoy her hair. They had been a few months younger than her, and were excited to know that she was most likely to be with them when they start at Hogwarts. So time later their mother walked up to collect them and they started begging for her to allow Elena to come over and play.

Lyall had been with Elena on this particular day to pick up some house essentials and help to replenish his son's chocolate supply while he recovered from the recent full moon. Elena in turn begged Lyall for a playdate with them as Cedric had left with his family for a vacation. Lyall agreed and asked Molly if it was okay for Elena to go over to The Burrow tomorrow after lunch. Molly agreed quickly and the girl's hair turned a bright orange color in her excitement.

When Elena arrived the next day to the Burrow with Lyall, she was quickly whisked away by the twins while Lyall and Molly talked in the kitchen. Elena was introduced to everyone present. Fred and George had taken their walk to their back yard to tell her that they had three older brothers and two younger siblings. When they met up with the crowd outside she was introduced to them all.

William "Bill" Weasley was the oldest at age 15. He was in his 5th year at Hogwarts. He was really nice to the young girl, and Elena thought he was cool and very watchful of his siblings. While Bill thought she was really cool and wise for her age. Charlie Weasley was two years younger than Bill, and was going into his 3rd year at Hogwarts. Charlie seemed to be really into animals of all kinds. Elena thought he was cool, but strange with his obsession with dragons. He thought the young girl was silly and had a feeling that she and the twins would most definitely get into trouble during their time at the school. Percy would be starting his first year at Hogwarts at the start of 1987 and was looking forward to all the lessons he would be learning whilst there. Elena thought she would get along with him due to their appreciation of books and knowledge but he seemed more like a practical person. Percy looked at the 1 year younger girl and scoffed at her during her time with them as she was often with the twins and running about. Yes she was fun to be around, but she definitely was going to be trouble. He did not want any additional trouble in his life. Fred and George are a few months younger than her, and 7 years younger than Bill. They thought she was going to be a good addition to their team. They really liked her and loved showing her their plans and ideas. Ron was the youngest of the boys. Elena thought he was really nice, but was often picked on by his brothers. Elena, when at the Burrow, got the twins to take a break from messing with Ron. Though when he started eating everything on site, all bets were off. He thought the older witch was bloody brilliant, but had a feeling to leave her alone in fear of pranks that were to follow. Ginny was the youngest of the children. She was super excited to see the witch everytime she came over, knowing that she was going to have someone later to help her keep her brothers off of her back. Elena could feel the warmth the family provided, and she loved it.

When Elena would come over the first few times, Lyall came with her while she ran off with the twins. Molly and Lyall go into the kitchen to catch up and for him to tell her more about his little girl. Lyall had explained to Molly about the girl's abilities, and how over the years they have begun to surpass some of the many wizards even beyond their current age. Molly, like anyone else, was able to feel the magic from the young girl. It was like it was seeping from her pores. Molly told Lyall not to worry around leaving the girl with her. She could work with the twins and her youngests with the house chores.

While the older Weasley boys were at school Elena would spend her days between the Weasleys and the Diggorys while Lyall was at work and Remus was away. When Christmas came around the older Weasleys returned to the Burrow and Elena had caught up with them about their lessons and adventures while at school. When Christmas came around Lyall and Elena celebrated alone while Remus was out visiting friends for the holiday.

Two days after Christmas Elena went over to the Burrow. All the Weasleys were more than excited for the young girl, mainly Ginny who was looking forward to having a female companion around. Bill and Charlie were more than interested in the young girl, and even talked her into trying flying with a broom. Molly quickly decided that Elena should ride with one of the boys before she took off on her own. Elena was quick to pick Bill to fly with, having a feeling that the twins and Charlie would take things way too far and she would be afraid to fly ever again.

Bill was kind with Elena, and definitely took things slow. Elena felt at peace with the boy, and being in the clouds was dare she say magical. After Bill took Elena around the Burrow's land a few times, he took them down and offered to help her learn how to fly on her own. Bill worked her through the steps of getting her to call the broom up. When she was comfortable he had her ride the broom up off the ground. He promised that he would be there and was prepared to grab her if things got out of hand. Elena trusted the boy, and knew that if she needed him he would be there. As she kicked off the ground she was amazed at how free she felt, even if it was only 10 feet off the ground. Bill was on a broom right next to her and began going over how to make the broom move. Over the next forty-five minutes Bill and Elena worked on her flying, before they were interrupted by the call of the lunch bell.

After lunch, Bill, Charlie, Percy, the twins, and Elena went out to play a very friendly match of Quidditch. Charlie, Percy, and George were on one team and Bill, Elena, and Fred on the other. They were going to play with just a Quaffle seeing as it was Elena's first game. Bill and Percy played Keepers, and the rest were Chasers. The game was fun and lighthearted until Elena picked up how to play, very quickly I might add. Charlie was amazed at how good the girl played, and he was beginning to think it wasn't beginner's luck. The game ended about an hour later with Bill, Lena (as they all called her now) and Fred winning the score 46 to 32. As they walked into the house Charlie couldn't stop talking about how when Elena got to Hogwarts he hoped she was in Gryffindor and played on the team with him. Elena beamed with excitement, already knowing she was going to have close friends in school. Lyall came over shortly after to collect Elena and bring her home, with promises that she will be around more before the start of the new term.
