thankfully i was released from the hospital the next morning. i left to go do something and be back later to pick up my things. asiwalked through downtown looking over the stores i noticed this familiar looking lady. where hsd i seen her before. she was with someone i recognized, Nate, from school. we used to hang out before he got too distracted being a teenager and sorts.

"Nate?" i asked.

he looked over at me "oh wow! Sky! what are you doing here?" he asked as he came to hug me.

"i just got back a few days ago, i was on the plane that crashed so i was at the hospital" i said.

"good to know your okay" he said smiling when the girl he was with cleared her throat.

"oh right, this is Amanda, my girlfriend. she came a year after you left." he said.

"nice to meet you. talk to you soon Nate" i said and left.

i stopped at a few stores and bought some new clothes, shoes, and other things i might need then headed back to the hospital.

once i got there Trey was waiting for me.

"Hey Trey." i said smiling innocently knowing he would start asking where i was and why i didn't tell him i was leaving.

"Lets just go," was his response.

Erik wallked in and thats when i noticed his ring. it was shining with the light that was coming from the windows.

he was maried?

"You're leaving right?" Erik asked after a long ackward silence.

i nodded "yeah." i said when a girl came up to Erik and started to giggle.

this must be his wife. "hey babe" he said and she kissed him for an insanely long time.

Trey cleared his throat. "could you do this somewhere else?" he asked.

thats when i saw the girl he was with.

Amanda. a million qustions ran through my head.

did Erik know?

was Amanda cheating on Nate?

where they married?

i left the hospital room very quickly hoping i was never going to see Erik again, becaiuse i was a very blunt person and i knew that one minute with Erik meant i would be blurting out what i saw.

Erik's PoV

i think it worked. was she jeous? i knew it was wrong to use my fiancee to make my old friend jelous but i couldnt pass up an oppurtunity like this. Trey glared at me and left not before saying "May the best one win" what did he mean? was he signaling a challenge?
