(Alex POV) We drive over to Little Italia, the restaurant that we both work at. As we were getting into uniform, Grace asks, " Alex, are those handguns that you have underneath the work skirt? Plus what's with the hidden switchblade in your boot?"

I said, " I  c can't  be too prepared. "

She said, " just dont let Kyle see them. "

"Yeah, what's the little punk ass gonna do? I mean I can kick his sorry ass to the curb in a blink of an eye." I reply as I shrug my shoulders. " I know that Alex, but I do not want you to get fired" Grace tells me. I walk out and I see Feli sitting with 2 other guys wearing fedoras. I get their orders, but as I am walking back, I notice a small group of Russian men enter the restaurant. I tell Grace what I see, and she tells me not to worry about it. I go about my work, but I still feel as though something is going to go wrong. A few minutes later Grace walks out, and I notice that the Russians follow her. I sneak round back, and overhear the men saying in heavy Russian accents, " Grab the girl, and let's get out of here." I stealthily walk outside,point a gun at the boss, and hiss, " Get away from her, or your boss gets popped." Grace looks at me with wide eyes. 

(Grace POV) So I am about to be kidnapped by some creepy Russian dudes, when Alex pops out of the shadows of the restaurant, or at least I think it's Alex, but she looks like she is three seconds away from sending people six feet under. Her eyes were a gold tone with flames, and her voice caused shivers to crawl down my spine. Then she pulls out the gun, and I think, "oh crap this escalated quickly 😨😱😱😱!"

(Alex) Since the head Russian was not obeying my simple command, I turn the safety off, and growl, "I will give you precisely 4 seconds to let my friend go, otherwise the last sight this guy gets to see is the cold brick wall!" The guy right in front of me suddenly turns around, and I feel a sharp pain in my side. As I lose consciousness, I see the fedora people from earlier.
