Marinette's P.O.V
I was actually pretty nervous for Monday. Adrien and I made up properly on Friday, but I'm still worried if he was going to surprise me with any conversations. I haven't talked to him much this year, and because of my embarrassment, I didn't talk to him much last either without stammering or stuttering. I doubt I had a proper conversation without running or stuttering as bad as I did. I saw his black car come out to the front of the school from my locker, and the usual of some girls and his fan club crowding him.
As he noticed my figure from a few feet away from him, I grabbed my books and shut my locker tightly. "Marinette! Hey!" He said smiling walking up to me. The fan club stopped in their tracks and stood still as they gave Adrien space to talk to me.
"Hey." I said, giving a small wave as I balanced my books with my other hand.
"You're going to class? This early?" He asked, giving a glance at my books.
"Hhm." His eyes sparkled.
"Let's walk together then!" Without letting me give my excuse, he ran to his locker and proceeded to get his books. "Wait for me!" He shouted, as he was getting his books out. In 3 minutes, he arrived with a smile. "Let's go, we have classes together anyways." He said walking up the stairs. I glimpsed at his fan club, who were whispering and giving me a face.
"O-oi wait up!" I said running up the stairs.
"Hey guess what I heard?" Adrien said as we finally made it to the top of the staircase.
"What?" I asked adjusting my books in my hands.
"The teachers are going to finally let us decide where to sit!"
"Really? Why?" I asked.
"I heard something about the first two months or so were the time to make friends, we probably made some friends already so we can sit anywhere we want." Adrien said, giving a cheeky smile. I gave a short smile, grinning.
"Let's sit next to each other! We need to catch up!" Adrien said putting his hand out to shake. I nodded, exchanging the shake.
I heard Adrien smile and sigh in delight. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm just glad we went back to being friends." My chest burned a bit. Snap out of it, you and him just got friendly again. Don't catch those stupid feelings again, he's dating Chloe already.
We saw our homeroom teacher on her phone, scrolling though something. She glanced at us, and gave the blank words, "All the teachers have decided to put the seating choose to the students. You can sit where ever you want." We nodded, and found new seats to sit in.
"Which table?" Adrien asked, as his finger was brushing on the wooden tables with metal support. I pointed to this middle of the left side, and started to walk to that table. "It's great being early, isn't it?" I said, as he nodded with a big, great smile.
a/n: so turns out I had this chapter on me forever and I just never posted it. My writing sucks cause this was written like last year, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
