-The next day-

Peridot's POV:

"NoOooOooOoOoOO!!!" Lapis whined as I tried to check on her cuts. "Lapis, please, this isn't easy for me either." I said, trying to hold her down. We were on the bed and we were both struggling to get what we wanted. Lapis had told me that her cuts started burning, so I got the peroxide and went to clean her cuts some more. I figured I probably didn't clean them properly. Lapis kept her shirt down, and as I kept trying to pull it up, she only pushed down harder. I sat up and huffed, gripping the bottle of peroxide in my hand. "Guess you wanna do this the hard way." I said, and Lapis raised an eyebrow.

I took my index and middle finger and jabbed them into her lower hip, aka her sensitive spot that I had discovered a while back. She yelped and jolted up, causing her to let go of her shirt. "HA!!!" I pinned her arms over her head and lifted her shirt. A dark red blush spread on Lapis's face, and I realized that the position we were in was quite a turn-on for both me and her. I ignored the trembling in my legs and heat in between them, and opened the lid of the bottle with my teeth. I hovered it over her cuts and she made a screech-squeal noise that startled me. "LAPIS PLEASE IT HASN'T EVEN TOUCHED YOU YET!!!" I groaned, gritting my teeth. 

As I tipped the bottle over onto her cuts, nothing came out, and I raised an eyebrow. "Huh?" I looked into the bottle, but it was pitch-black. I then turned the bottle upside down, however, nothing poured out. "HURRY UP!!!" Lapis yelled, and her eyes were shut tight. "We're all out." I said, looking into the bottle. Lapis craned her neck to look at the container, and she blew her hair out of her face. I then looked down at her, and noticed that her shirt was still lifted up, so I looked at her breasts lustfully just to tease her. 

Lapis squirmed and looked away, and I could tell her face was heating up. "S-stooopp lemme go!!!" she groaned in a cracky voice. I was staring at them just for a joke at first, but then I actually started getting really aroused viewing them, especially when she was vulnerable like this. She still had a bra on, but the cleavage was starting to get to me. I then felt a sharp pinching on my arm, causing me to yelp and jerk my arm away. "Did you bite me?!" I asked, looked at her with wide eyes. Lapis rolled over, nearly kicking me in the face, trying to hop off of the bed. "Oh no you don't!" I shouted. I tackled her, causing her and I to both fall off of the bed with a hard thump. 

I had her on her back, and we were extremely close. "What are you guys doing?" Pumpkin's voice startled me, and Lapis and I yelped. I immediately hopped off of Lapis and backed up. "N-nothing, sweetheart. Do you know where there's any more peroxide?" I asked, feeling my face heat up. "Not here. Pearl was using some at Stevo's house." Pumpkin said, jerking her thumb to the front door. Right...I should've known. I looked over at Lapis, who had already pulled her shirt back down and stood up. "Alright, to Steven's house then." she said, grabbing her jacket.

"Yeah, I have some." Pearl said, looking at me with intent eyes. "New cuts or gashes?" she asked, looking at both of us now. "Nah, same cuts. Mine just started burning again." Lapis replied, putting her hands in her pockets. "As soon as we get this peroxide, you're not gonna fight me anymore." I said, pointing at her. "Peridot, you realize that shit burns? Remember Pearl pouring it on your stab wound? That's my pain, only ten times worse." Lapis explained, crossing her arms. "Lapis, my wound was deeper than your gashes, and you know that I would never do anything to purposely hurt you, right?" I tried to reassure her, stepping up to her.

I spotted Pearl squint her eyes at me in a weird way, and it made me uneasy. "Is there any other way to do this?" Lapis asked, looking away. "Sure, we can leave them to get more infected, causing you to further corru--feel bad." I replied sarcastically. Lapis grumbled and rolled her eyes, her arms falling to her sides. "Ugh, okay fine. Just...please be careful." she said in an uneasy tone of voice. "I promise." I said softly, kissing her. Her face heated up as she pursed her lips, and she looked away, furrowing her eyebrows. Lapis, you're a big softie and you know it. 

"Say, Peridot, you mind coming with me to find the peroxide?" Pearl asked, crossing her arms. "Uh sure?" I replied, and quietly followed her into the hallways. I had a feeling this wasn't just because she needed help getting peroxide. I put my hand on my pocketknife over my pants, just in case she tried to jump me or anything. Once we got farther enough, Pearl turned to me with an irritated expression. "What is your problem?!" I whisper-shouted. "My problem? What's your problem?! I can't stand by and watch you do this anymore! You put on this sappy show for Lapis and it makes me sick to my stomach!" Pearl replied.

"Sappy show? What are you talking about?! You think I'm bullshitting her?!" I said back, furrowing my eyebrows. "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!"  Pearl shouted. I took a step back and looked at her in awe. "I love Lapis deeply, and everything I say to her is genuine." I reply, getting frustrated with her. "Is that why you went and fucked Amethyst?" Pearl asked, gesturing to Amethyst's room. WHAT?!?! ME?! FUCK AMETHYST?! Where the fuck did this come from?! I stared at her in awe, not believing what I was hearing. "Exactly." Pearl said, walking away. "HEY!!!" I shouted, storming after her, about to knock her lights out. I froze when I spotted Lapis standing in the doorway to the kitchen, staring at us coldly. 

Pearl froze as well, and looked over at me with wide eyes. I felt my hands tremble, knowing that this was gonna be hard to explain. "N-now now Lapis, I swear I didn't--" "What the fuck? You fucked Amethyst?" Lapis asked in a tone of voice I hadn't heard in a long time - the one she used before she opened up to me. "LAPIS P-PLEASE BELIEVE ME!! I DIDN'T I SWEAR!!!" I cried in a frantic voice. Lapis's expression was hard to read, but her eyebrows were furrowed, and her eyes looked lifeless. "Was this at your guys's stupid booze party?!" Lapis asked. "Lapis you gotta believe me!!! I m-may have not remembered a lot from the party but no matter how drunk I was or ever will be I would never cheat on you!!!" I said, trying to convince, but it wasn't working. Pearl what have you done.

My nervous tone of voice made me sound even more suspicious, and I was panicking. I never fucked Amethyst! If I ever did I most definitely would've remembered! Even if I was drunk!! "Pearl, are you lying?" Lapis turned her head to Pearl, causing Pearl to fidget with her fingers. "N-no of course not! Amethyst told me herself!" Pearl replied. Lapis gasped, and wore a heartbroken expression that I'd never seen before. As if on cue, Amethyst walks in, but immediately stops when she notices the tension in the room. Lapis turned her head slowly to Amethyst, and the short girl looked to the side uncomfortably. "Uh oh."

The bluenette then started walking in her direction, and utter panic struck Amethyst's face. Amethyst backed up, and she started picking up the pace as soon as Lapis did. "Fuck my girlfriend, will ya?" Lapis asked in a deep voice, and Amethyst nearly tripped over her own feet. "Wh-whaaaat?! No way! That ain't true man, I wouldn't fuck P-dot, hehe!" Amethyst replied nervously, and I could tell that she was just making everything worse. Lapis sighed, then stopped walking, and Amethyst did too. "Alright, alright...I believe you..." Lapis said, looking down. She looked like she messed up, and just realized what she did.

Lapis put one arm over the other in a protective manner. "Really?!" Amethyst asked, perking up. "No." Lapis deadpanned, then lifting her fist high. She swung it across Amethyst's face faster than the speed of light, causing a crack noise to echo the room. The short girl came crashing down and fell onto her back, unconscious. Pearl and I gasped in unison, and Pumpkin watched with wide eyes from the kitchen. "Lapis please stop! She didn't do anything! I didn't do anything, you gotta believe me!" I yelled, and Lapis looked over at me.

"I trusted you, Peridot. If Amethyst told Pearl, but didn't have the guts to tell me to my fuckin' face, that's not something I'm willing to stick around for." Lapis said through gritted teeth. "If you know that you'd remember if you fucked Amethyst or not, why do you say you forgot?" she asked, stepping closer to me. "If you actually trusted me, then you'd believe me when I say we didn't!" I argued. I glared over at Pearl, who shrugged and crossed her arms. "Peridot, Amethyst told me. She told me the night it actually happened...and the morning after." Pearl explained. 

Lapis bit her lip, and it looked like she was about to cry. "And I'm saying we didn't! So Amethyst lied!!" I shouted back. "Why would she lie about something like that? What would her motive be, Peridot?" Lapis asked, taking a step forward again. "I don't know! But you know that I would never hurt you, right? L-like I said before?!" I said, getting nervous again. "You just did though, Peridot! You just did! You thought you could keep this from me, forever?" Lapis asked, balling her fists. It felt like she was getting ready to punch me, so I had to man up and start getting her to back up. 

I kicked a box of tools over, and it made a loud crashing sound, and Lapis looked down at it. "Did you ever trust me from the start? Do you love me? Or do your trust issues get in the way? Huh? Is that what it is?" I asked in the most intimidating voice I could muster up. Lapis looked away and shook her head, starting to back up. I stepped forward and I felt more power now. "Of course we have to work our asses off to gain Lapis's trust! Oh look at me, guys! I won the award for EARNING HER TRUST AFTER BUSTING MY ASS TRYING NOT TO GET KILLED BY HER FOR WEEKS!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, feeling the heat boil in my face. 

"Peridot, I wouldn't--" "And you know what else, Lapis?" I interrupted Pearl in the back, who looked terrified. "I have bent over backwards for you. And what do I get in return? Nothing." I say. "I do shit for you too, Peridot! You're just too naive and stupid to realize that!" Lapis fired back, and I raised my eyebrows. "Well maybe I was too stupid and naive to get together with YOU TOO!!!" I yelled back, and shoved Lapis. Her back hit the wall with a loud slam sound, and she looked at me in shock. I realized what I did and gasped, feeling my eyes tear up. Lapis's face turned cold, and she glared daggers at me, causing my legs to grow weak. 

She bared her teeth, and started storming toward me, looking like she was ready to kill me. I yelped and backed up as fast as I could, nearly tripping over my own feet. She placed her hands on my shoulders and shoved the shit out of me, causing me to fly backward onto my back hard. Lapis stepped up to me, looking down at me with an expressionless face, and all I felt was utter terror and my heart beating at a hundred miles an hour. She jolted herself forward to further hit me, but halted. I flinched, but slowly lowered my arms as I noticed Lapis didn't make a move.

She looked me in the eyes, and I could see the emotional pain in them as I realized that I may have just lost Lapis's trust forever. Tears started filling her eyes, and she quickly looked away, over at Pumpkin. "C'mon Pumpkin, let's get outta here..." Lapis muttered, holding out her hand. However, Pumpkin did not move from her spot, and she whimpered. Lapis gasped and looked even more hurt, and she glared over at me. "Fine...if she's happier with you, so be it." she stated, and with that, she turned around and headed for the front door. "LAPIS WAIT!!" I shouted, climbing to my feet. She gave me one last look before slamming the door behind her, and running down the deck stairs. 

I ran for the door and opened it as fast as I could, and dashed down the stairs. However, Lapis was already on her bike, and it was revving up. Lapis didn't look back and dashed away on the vehicle, leaving me in the dust. "LAAAAPIIISSS!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, but she didn't hear me...or she didn't listen. Tears were streaming down my face, and I fell to my knees, still processing what just happened. She's gone...
