-The next day-

For the past 24 hours Amethyst could not stop reminding me about her booze party with her friends, and I was debating on whether I should go or not. I wanted more than anything to just stay with Lapis at the barn and keep an eye on her, but she insisted on me going to have fun. I wanted her to go with me, but she tried to keep her hangouts with the crystal gems to a minimum. Plus Lapis was gaining more suspicions on why I was acting so strangely, so I guess I couldn't raise the stakes. I reluctantly agreed to it, and immediately regretted when I saw how much booze Amethyst pulled out.

I really didn't want a repeat of the bar incident to where I was puking in the bathroom feeling like shit. So I was deciding on even drinking in the first place. The short girl walked across the room and winked at me as she carried the box of alcohol. I raised an eyebrow and looked over at the front door, thinking about just leaving and heading back home. But then a tall girl wearing a black leather jacket with spikes on the shoulders walked up to the door. She had heavy eye shadow and blew a bubblegum bubble, which popped shortly after with a loud pop sound.

She peered in at me with a chill expression on her face, her eyes half-lidded. She was pretty attractive (coughcertainly no Lapis butcough) and I looked back to see if this was one of Amethyst's friends. Amethyst smiled and waved her foot around maniacally since her hands were full. "SUP VIDALIA!!!" she shouted, and Vidalia nodded. "Hey Ame, who's your friend?" she asked, stepping into the house. "Oh!" Amethyst set the boxes down on the kitchen table and ran over to me, roughly putting an arm around me. "Vidalia, this is Peridot! Peri, this is Vidalia!" Amethyst introduced us, and I looked back over at the blonde. "Pleasure." I said in a monotone voice, and she just nodded back.

"Alrighty, Garnet's pouring the shots, Pearl's getting the music goin', Steven's off at Connie's, and the two hotties are here, so let's get this started!" Amethyst said, raising two beer bottles before popping one of the lids open with the other bottle. I raised an eyebrow at the mentions of 'the two hotties' and just shook it off. "Yo Peri, why don't you start us off?" Amethyst suggested, signaling to the shots that sat on the counter beside Garnet. I stared at the small shot cups for a moment, then looked back at Amethyst. Oh god this never ends well.

I walked up to the counter and picked one up, followed by the cheers of Amethyst. Pearl played some alternative rock, as requested by Vidalia and Amethyst. I looked up at Garnet, not yet downing the liquid. "Can you at least tell me what it is?" I asked. "Just some Bulleit Bourbon, Peridot. Nothing too strong." she said, raising an eyebrow and chuckling. "She's prob'ly never drank before." Vidalia said with a smirk. What'd you say bitch? "I'll have you know that I have drank 13 shots of Devil Springs Vodka in one night!" I said, still holding the cup.

"How the hell did you get your hands on Devil Springs?" Amethyst asked, her eyes wide. "Lapis's gang had advantages..." I replied, before raising the shot cup to my mouth. I downed the drink, and slammed it down on the counter. I shut my eyes and coughed as it burned my throat for a moment. I know I had one of the strongest vodkas out there before, but this was still pretty strong. "Nice job, Peri! You're actually not a pussy!" Amethyst said loudly as she patted my back, laughing. "I can do you one better." Vidalia said, as she strutted up to the counter and took one in her hand.

She took the shot, slammed it down, and then immediately took the next shot after that. She then took the NEXT one, and set the empty glass down. The blonde barely reacted, and had swallowed it down without a blink. She stared at me and smirked, and Amethyst howled with laughter. I glared at the tall girl, waiting for it to hit her - based on the amount of alcohol in that drink, she was gonna break any second. She then coughed almost eight times and groaned. "Nyahahahaha!!!" I laughed at her, pointing at her in victory.

She shook her head and groaned again, tsking. "Dude remember that time I beat you in the shot contest a few months back?!" Amethyst asked Vidalia excitedly. Vidalia rolled her eyes in response and Ame laughed. "Dude dude, Peri. Let's see who could take the most shots!" she said, shaking my shoulders. I stared at her, seeing the excitement and thrill in her brown eyes and I sighed. "You're on." I stated. "WOO!!! GARNET GET SOME MORE GOIN'!" Amethyst shouted, fist pumping in the air.

Soon enough, all of the shot glasses were aligned across the counter, and Amethyst and I were waiting for the okay from Garnet to go. "Alright, ready...set...go!" We both grabbed a shot glass at the same time, and I downed mine as fast as I could, making sure not to let the liquid sit in my mouth too long. I coughed, feeling my head pound as I took another one. Then I took another one, then another one, then another one. I didn't even see how many Amethyst had taken yet, since I was so distracted by the effort to not pass out. It felt like my throat was on fire, but I kept going.

Soon, things began to get blurry, and I could hear my own heartbeat. I sloppily grabbed one more shot glass before pouring it down my searing throat, and slamming it down, not caring if I broke it or not. I then broke into a coughing fit and cleared my throat several times, trying to get rid of the burning sensation. I could hear Garnet cheering, and Vidalia whistling. I noticed that Amethyst wasn't done with her shots, and I pumped my fists in the air yelling in victory. "PRAISE ME!!!" I slurred loudly, feeling a buzz come on.

Amethyst groaned and slammed her head down on the counter and it felt good to finally win at something. Sure I felt like hell but it was worth it. I kept coughing and cheering and slurring at the same time, looking like a retard. I blinked several times, but my vision wasn't focusing and remained blurred. This may be an issue. "Good job, P-dot!" Amethyst said in a husky voice, wiping her mouth with her forearm. "Th-thanksss...wh-where's the beer?" I slurred, feeling determined to drink more. "Now we're talkin'!" Amethyst slurred back, walking over to the counter and grabbing more beer.

"T-try this o-one." Amethyst said, sluggishly giving me an open bottle. I took a sip of it, and it tasted like crap, but I liked the buzz it gave me, so I drank more. Man I wish Lapis were here. I remember before I puked and got jumped back at the Tipsy Gem, how Lapis and I were having so much fun together drunk. She made the experience ten times better and more enjoyable, and I now had a strong desire to have Lapis here. I was thinking of leaving to the barn to go get her, but then I remembered her cuts. Would it be good for her to drink that much with that condition? Shit has she been smoking lately? I hope not. Will it get worse?

My thoughts were interrupted when Amethyst drunkenly walked up to me and leaned on me. I held her up, making sure she didn't face plant on the wooden floor. I then dropped my bottle of beer, spilling it everywhere, and Pearl dramatically gasped. "PERIDOT!! BE MORE CAREFUL!!" she scolded me, frantically grabbing a shit ton of paper towels. "Amethyst, you gotta st-stand burp on your own..." I slurred, ignoring Pearl's screeching. "Easy on the booze, Amethyst." Garnet called from the kitchen, leaning against the counter nonchalantly with her arms crossed. I'm assuming she's gotten like this before.

Vidalia just snickered and grabbed another beer. Amethyst groaned and put her face in my boobs, causing me to blush furiously and shove her off. "AMETHYST!!" I growled. "C-come onnnn Peridot you know you l-like it" Amethyst said, giggling. I groaned and defensively wrapped my arms around my chest so she wouldn't do it again. Pearl rolled her eyes and left the room, going upstairs. "I'm goin' out." Garnet said, walking out the front door.

The next two hours consisted of Amethyst drunkenly hitting on me and Vidalia breaking things. I just had the urge to constantly dance on the counter to unfitting music. Pearl then walked in again, witnessing the disaster that was three drunk dumbassses. "Hey Pearl!!! Look at this!" I said, jumping off of the counter onto a pile of pillows I had set up. "I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN'T GET UP!!!" I screeched, dramatically draping my arm over my head. "My hot pocket just exploded." Amethyst said as she spotted the smoke emitting from the microwave. "AMETHYST!!!" Pearl squawked, running over to the microwave.

"Amethyst what the hell did you do?!" Pearl asked aggressively glaring at her. Amethyst then randomly smirked over at me and winked. I raised an eyebrow and burped, earning a giggle from her. Pearl then groaned and dragged Amethyst out of the living room by her arm, out of sight.

Third-person POV:

"What is going on our there?! Are you crazy?!" Pearl whisper shouted at Amethyst through gritted teeth. "I dunno what you're burp t-talking about." Amethyst replied, lazily putting her arms behind her head. "It's okay to get a little drunk but this is overboard and you know it!" Pearl scolded. Amethyst rolled her eyes and blew a chunk of her purple hair out of her face. "I don't see anyone but you havin' a problem with it." Amethyst said chuckling. "Not even Peridot? Your effortless flirting is extremely vulgar and inappropriate. She has a girlfriend you know." Pearl reminded, crossing her arms.

This hit Amethyst in a place she didn't have before. "H-hey! She hasn't done anything about it yet! She ain't complaining! She's totally into me!" Amethyst sluggishly argued. "Really? How so?" Pearl asked, raising an eyebrow. Amethyst was thinking for a moment for anything. "Uh we kissed!!! Yeah!! She let me and she was totally into it!" Amethyst said, biting her lip. "Amethyst. Peridot has a girlfriend. You need to quit undressing her with your eyes. It's sad to watch and I don't want you getting hurt." Pearl said. "Well that's where your wrong, c-cause I just undressed her PERIOD!!!" Amethyst lied, smirking at Pearl's expression. "You what?"

"Yeah that's right. Peri and I banged while you were sleeping like a grandma upstairs!!! And she totally loved it!!!" Amethyst continued, feeling her ego build. "Oh stars, what has Peridot gotten herself into..." Pearl muttered as she face palmed. "What about Vidalia?" Pearl asked. "U-uh she ran to get more booze and we had a quickie cough." Amethyst stuttered and felt sweat form on the back of her neck. "Hmmm." Pearl shook her head and sighed. "B-but don't tell anyone! Please!!! Especially Peridot!! I wasn't supposed to tell you!!" Amethyst said nervously. Amethyst's nervous tone of voice raised Pearl's suspicions, but she shook it off.

"But this is wrong....what about Lapis?" Pearl asked. "What she doesn't know won't hurt her right?" Amethyst replied smirking. "Ugh, fine. Please just keep me out of it. I really don't need to be on Lapis's kill list right now." Pearl said, walking away shaking her head. Amethyst gulped at that statement and realized she was taken a huge risk here. She walked back out into the living room to find Peridot passed out on the counter while Vidalia was puking in the sink.
