Om- check the terrace , maybe he went behind shrushti.

S - I love her.

Shrushti rolled and revolved her eyes to make one big circle when she heard him rant the same words for only god knows the count . Shivaay was totally annoyed with her reaction , he pinched her hand .

Sh - ouch!!

S - help me .

Sh - you're the great flirt I've ever known on earth and still you want my help to approach the girl you love ?

Now he was much more pissed of .

S - that's what I'm saying . I never felt anything special for those how many ever  girls came across in life until her .

Sh - I already know all this idiot , stop muttering the same things again and again as if I'm the one .

S - you're insulting me too much today shrushti!

Sh - I'll be glad if you get to develop some courage in that way atleast .

S - fine ! You think I can't do this?

Sh - I don't, because I know you can , but the thing is you won't.

S - today it is then .

Shrushti smiled hiding her smirk inside  when he got up and rushed towards the corridor. 

He found her peeping out from the corridor to get a random view outside . She turned back when he touched her shoulder and immediately there was a bright smile on her face .

A - where were you ! I wanted to share something very important .

He looked confused on watching her excitement.

S- what is it ?

A- my parents gave a green signal !! Asha's marriage is fixed .

Annika leapt and hugged him in joy, shivaay felt difficult to control himslef . His arms were just an inch away from her back . He was just going to hold her but she had already reverted back to make his efforts go in vain . Well , this is his problem . He becomes so slow and nervous when with her .

S - that's indeed a great news ! After so many struggles somehow your parents had finally accepted your sister's love. I wish I could speak with her now , last time when we conversed she almost cried you know.

A - she's is hospital now , I'll ask her to call you tonight ok .

S - hmm , and when I mean when is the marriage fixed ?

She became silent at once when he questioned .

S - hey , what happened?

A- we have a problem .

S- I didn't get you.

A- Hrithik jiju's parents want me to marry their second  son  Deepak . They like... want both the weddings to  happen on the same day. 

His chest ached in process of reminding him to take a breath which he forgot to .  Turning away from her sight he pretended to look by the corridor casually.  He didn't give a chance for her to meet his eyes which were nothing but vulnerable now.

S- and , what did you say ? Is this some buy one get one business !

A- I don't know . Papa says they are nice, ofcourse I know they are nice infact Hrithik jiju is so kind . But I haven't thought anything about this yet.

S- well it's your life , if you feel you'd be happy ,do it . Please don't try to make sacrifices for Asha .

He somehow gathered himself and held control over his vocal cord which seemed to be the worstly difficult task right now .

' Hey shivaay , we haven't rehearsed our parts yet . The program is tomorrow man ! '

He made use of this chance to immediately move out of her sight .

S- oh I'm so sorry Renu, I totally forgot it . Mind visiting me today, we shall practise at home.

' yeah sure , I'll call nancy and ajay too . Actually,  the play is scheduled...'

He shifted near that girl and started talking about things for annika's was left behind in deep thoughts .

Sh- you're the biggest dumb I've ever met shivaay,  you should have told her today !

Shrushti vented out her frustration on watching him fighting with his emotions .

S - I love her for all these feelings which she alone has capability to provide me and now , I hate her for the same . I hate for making me cry !!

He wiped the next tear which came rolling down his left eye . Shrushti felt really bad for him .

Sh - this is not just done , I,  I'll make it right .

Shivaay pulled her back on the seat immediately when she stood up . He shook his head watching her eyes .

S- she wants my advice to decide on her wedding shrushti . I can clearly feel her friendship in this , how am I supposed to approach her with love when I know she doesn't feel anything as such for me ?

Shrushti looked at him helplessly.

She dragged a drunk shivaay all the way and pushed him into his car .

Sh - shivaay get yourself together,  you'll kill yourself like this !!

S - I don't care , I can't!!

Hit .

She slapped him immediately and he was in tears again . Men don't cry often but pain is same for everyone  right , men or women . They can't help  when their heart comes to know things are falling apart , tears get the role right away at such situations.  Suddnely he sat up and  started mimicking.

S -" come with me please , help me select the card " she's hurti...ng me shrushti , she is !!!

His dragged his words but she did understand everything.  Her anger on annika only grew more .

He felt his legs trembling to bring his whole self anytime down on the ground. But still, he made his way on the small staircase to reach the stage . One by one he did it somehow .  Shivaay noticed her smile and reciprocated it back. He stood there like a straight mannequin while she made the introductions .He then wiped his completely wet palms on his pant before forwarding it to her . And as soon as she held it ,

S- congratulations.

He muttered .

S - you betrayed me ! Why ! Why shrushti  ?

Sh - I didn't betray you rather I  helped .

S - how many times , how many times I've asked you about her , but you never told me the truth about Deepak. You did betray me !

Sh - she was in comma for one and half years shivaay !

His eyes popped out in horror when she revealed this .

Sh - Deepak died in the accident and she fell into comma due the same . I knew and I know you still love her , that's why I didn't tell you anything.

Shivaay couldn't say anything. His eyes were just wandering here and there continuously. All these days he was thinking she might be living happily somewhere but the truth was just the reverse . 

Sh - I thought maybe after leaving India   , you would change but you didn't ! Everytime you called , you asked only about her . You already went through so much because of annika , I couldn't let it happen again. She , she's experiencing this because she deserves it for hurting you!

S - just shut up ,shut up shrushti!

She stepped back on hearing his sudden rageous roar . His red eyes depicted the sea of anger in him  , shrushti was shook by it .

Tik .

They both heard some sound and looked the other side to only get the atmost shock . Annika is here .  She bent down and collected the mobile which she just dropped on the floor . She seemed thrilled and clueless at the same time. Shivaay looked at shrushti tensely and jogged towards annika at once . 

Her hands shivered as she brought it forward to give his phone back . And the phone immediately got unlocked as his finger brushed the thumb lock in process of taking it from her .

The screen went flash on to show her picture on the wallpaper . Shivaay slid it into his pocket immediately while her eyes didn't move the spot where his mobile was a second before . Nothing went unnoticed by her .
