Om - I don't like her .

His sentence brought an emerging difference in everyone's faces ,leading in shock .

Jhanvi- what are you saying Om ? I was actually happy on thinking that there could be none better than annika . I'm actually stunned with your answer Om . Why ? She's a nice girl ,

She stated with a displeasured face while shivaay stood quite on not exactly knowing his own feelings at that instant. Was he happy ? was be baffled ? was he sad ?

There can never be a time where he could be totally fine on she moving on ,because deep inside he knows that if one could love her by all means till end of the blanket sky ,it's only him . But he dares to be selfish too ,

Pinky - Om , tumhari maa sahi bol rahi hai .

She added supporting  Jhanvi, and Om just stood a rock paying no ears to their claim.

Om- Maa , meine kaha na ? It's about my marriage ,so the main call will me mine . Isn't it ? I don't want to marry annika . That's it ,

Both the ladies were taken aback listening to his stubborn statement . They watched him marching straight into his room. Jhanvi who was upset with her son's sudden variance looked at shivaay pleasingly before making upto him .

J- shivaay , we are ok with his decision. Because it's his life ,and he we can't force him but atleast we have the rights to know the reason behind this . I know he would share everything with you , could you please talk to him.

Shivaay just let a nod. He himself was actually curious now . What had happened back at the restaurant that changed Om ? What did annika tell him ?

Om- How many times will I've to say this shivaay? I don't like her !

Shivaay was annoyed with him repeating the same thing .

S- there must be some reason ?

Om- ok ,I don like her because she seems very dominating and she's kind of selfish too.

S- just shut up Om!

For a second Om was startled to hear an aggressively harsh word of his brother who looked so rageous.

Shivaay himself was unaware that he had certainly shouted for he was so angry on listening to Om's false blames.

She remains the deepest soul of being genuine and can neither be selfish nor dominant anytime .His annika is one gem of a woman and he knows that .

His blastive reaction settled  slowly as he watched Om scanning him in suspection.

S- uhh, I... I'm sorry Om . I know you're lying. Kya huwa Om ? Mera bhai kabi joot nahi bolta,

The blank insistence on his face was clearly noticed by Om who looked away soon .

Om - I called off this alliance ,because she wanted me to.

Shivaay's eyes went a wide listening to this. Suddenly he fell numb and his plams already grew wet .

S - what ?

His keen stare was acknowledged soon when Om took a sigh before narrating .

Om - go on annika ,you wanted to tell something?

She waited ,taking time to voice out her reply .

A- could you please call it off , I mean this alliance. Say them you didn't like me ,

He looked shocked ,but those pleading orbs of her's explained her desperation and need for his approval on her claim.

Om- you don't like me , haina ? It's ok , I respect your decision. But we hardly know each other and how is it that you've already spoke for your side ? I'd want to know the reason ,

She read his eagered face quietly,

A - I love someone else ,that's the reason and please ,don't tell this to anyone especially my father . He would be crestfallen to know about his stupid daughter having to love the man who had broke up with her long back , still .

He transparently felt her shaking yet steady voice .

Om - still? Since when ?

He muttered looking at her keenly while she gulped deep.

A - five years ,it has been.

Om was shocked beyond limit . A girl claims to love a person who had abandoned her past five years back ...?! Annika put on a faint smile looking at his changing reactions.

A - complicating isn't it ? I'm way complicated as that .

Om - what if your father finds you another person? Will you ask him for the same favour which ?

A- certainly

She smiled .

Om- you must have seen her face then . She seemed so confident .

As Om completed ,shivaay remained  lost . Lost somewhere in the world of guilt and the contained fate of his unlucky love. He had leastly expected her to accept this marriage, but some part of him already started stabbing his heart for his deeds which helplessly was breaching a girl's future . His cloud of thoughts were broken when Om added more ,

Om- I'm telling you shivaay . The man whomever she still loves is unfortunately the biggest fool on earth . To loose someone like her ...I don't know what to say . He deserves nothing from life ,

An array of pang hit the organ hidden beneath his ribs ,as he heard his brother's statement which he knew was true.

' Who is that damn one to dislike my child ? Let it be , my daughter deserves the best !who could shower tremendous love on her, not some brainless fools. You don't worry annika , Papa will find the perfect one for you. One in a million ! '

Clutching onto his hand tight which was now palming her cheecks ,she feared to look to him. How was she ever going to do this for life long? She was literally onto a process in hurting her father who thinks of nothing but her happiness . Guilt is what she knew existed in her .

' Shivaay '

Her mobile flashed . Having presented with two new mobiles by her father in these five years, she didn't even make use of the dual SIM port. A number which existed as her's in his contact list is what remained as her's even now .

He calls , she stares at the caller id. That's how days has been.

' I want to meet you ,please . 5.30 pm  , our place '

She read the message and gradually her hands trembled to drop the phone, thankfully it just hit the bed on which she was seated . Meet ? She was baffled .

Being all used to his calls in these five years ,message is something unexpected .

Feeling her feet being soaked in the salt water for the tides which came wandering all the way one by one to hit her legs, there she stood waiting for her boyfriend to turn up any time soon . He must have been here by now , where is her punctual man ?

Tucking  strands of hair behind her ear , she looked aback to witness him coming that way.

An instant smile captured her lips as she took long steps towards him , enthusiastically.

A- you're late.

She pouted before jumping to pull him in a hug . Sensing his palms rubbing her back loosely, she felt strange .

Pulling back , she watched his eyes which didn't just seem to have the usual spark .

He looked lost .

A- kya huwa shivaay ?

His eyes travelled here and there as he looked past her at the blue waves before speaking.

S- I have cleared the written exam , it's the physical test now .

Her eyes grew wide in joy hearing his words which yet sounded low .

A- wow shivaay !! Congratulations! Ye tho celebration ki baath hai ,why do you look sad then ?

He bent down and looked at their intertwined hands .

S- if I get selected, I'll have to attend the training .

A- tho ? What shivaay ? Your reciting as if you knew nothing about the procedures before . Come on man , you know ?I feel so proud ! Don't tell me that you're feared of the physical test ? You have worked for it , you will make it . Don't worry .

He just passed a simple smile watching her eyes carrying the source of assurance .

S- I'll be spending my next two years of training in the camp. No interim ,

A - so ?

S- I'll miss you.

She watched his puppy pet face ,growing all small . Clasping both her hands within his's, he directly looked into her eyes conveying what it meant to be away from her .

A- aww !

She pulled his cheecks and he frowned.

S- just aww ? Won't you miss me ?

Her lips curved in a wide smile .

A- I'll miss you only when I stop thinking of you na ? It's not just your presence which keeps me going shivaay . Even if you aren't there with me ,mein thab bhi tere baare mei hi sochthi hoon jaise ki ab , these blue waves which urged to meet my skin resembled your captivating eyes which revokes the spell to peirce in and touch my soul ,damn everytime you look at me. Distance is just a number when I have you latched within me all the time . Consider me a ghost or something, but I'm very sure that you are in me all the time . I'm sounding like a crack mad ,ain't I ?

She chuckled bending down for a minute and  again looked at him , moving a bit close.

A - I am super glad on being mad just for you shivaay .

These words of whisper did something to him which eloped every nerve of his feelings that claimed love for the girl in tons even more than the previous moment . The soft little confessions like these could actually make wonders if spoken at the right times and one such time was this . He was clear .

A- now wipe this grumpy face of yours and cheer up ! Go do your thing .

He obeyed her immediately presenting a pleasant smile which made her smile in reflex. True that , two years is really going to be big for them. But whatever she said was also true. Her love for him and his love for her, was all which matters at last . In that case ,both were inseparable.

S- chalo , kuch kaathey hain . You must be hungry .

A- ahh, let's play for sometime please ...!

She implored watching the sea and he shook at once .

S- no annika . After dropping you ,I've got an important work so I'll be going somewhere. If I get myslef wet then ,

He stated looking at the sand in negligence .

A- acha ? Teek hai phir . Chalo chalthey hain .

Wounding the scarf around her neck , she dusted her pants once before stepping forward but halted feeling his firm grip on her wrist. She turned and mountained her brows, questioning him . Staring at her without replying ,he just worked on his shoes with his other hand .

Her small frown released back on watching him removing his shoes . She looked at him with a surprised face which was ready to plaster a smile at any passing moment and that's exactly what she did as she witnessed his sudden blink accompanied with a charming grin for which she could loose every inch of her heart .

Is it even possible for him to deny her sweet claims? She remains his favourite boss anytime . He would do anything to avoid the sight of an upset her. Dropping his socks on the mud ,he made his way towards the ocean with her by side.

Like two kiddos, both just enjoyed this day playing like nuts . It was every now and then when he had to make sure that she doesn't move further in ,as this girl was really crazy when she gets into sea and he knows it very well.

Letting herself entirely into his hands which now snaked her waist ,she leaned close sideways .

A- when are you leaving the city ?

S- next week ,most probably.

He felt her trying to position her face straight near his heart as her cheeck rubbed on the fabric of his shirt there. Indeed , he knew the tension. She might act strong and perfect from outside but was she really unaffected by his absence around ? A mature baby is his girlfriend. Her fist crushed his shirt near his abdomen , which happened without her conscious  as if she was trying to hold him tight with her .

He just turned his head and gradually his lips played on her hair in reflex. No ,he didn't plan to plant tiny kisses there . It was just a gesture where he let his lips wander through her hair without giving any compression as of like a kiss .

Each and every moment with her is to be treasured now . The following week should contain a more of her , he was stubborn on that and tightened the grip around her waist showering a sense of securing warmth in her which delivered everything she required right at this moment.

That's only when the star sun remembered to set down , disappearing into the sea after witnessing these two lovers who were ready for a tomorrow without yet with each other ,hand in hand .

The same sun was now once again lowering down to merge with the blue ocean, but the only difference is the duo. The very same duo were standing wide apart from each other, witnessing the huge source of light drowning itself into the water.

That's how time changed them . Neither their love fell back nor their trust discarded , rather it was only an invisible bridge involving the signs of destiny and fate which kept them separated as they stood apart losing themselves in the vision displayed by the huge tides.

He turned aside to look if she even spared a glance on him by chance. Alas ,luck didn't give him a scope .

Taking a sigh of breath, he made his way near her. Sensing his steps approaching her ,she fell nervous and tried to sustain her grip on the ground and stretched those toe fingers downwards which made patterns on the sand . He was just standing by her side ,but there was nothing she did to look at him rather just stared infornt.

He watched her eyes which seemed to blink within every few seconds and stood adoring her features by close . What else could life offer him ?

She being the  source and destiny of his life, why did be behave so foolish and tried to run away from what was actually meant for him ?

Her love was so pure that she was certainly ready to lead in lone if not with him and he on the other side had already cruelly broken her . Indeed ,breaking her did no good to him as he himself was suffering as sticks broken apart to live with the feeling that could halt the beat of the organ heart if not she exists along . Why only did he take such a decision when both gained nothing but pain ? The reality hit him hard .

After a few more minutes , he somehow caught courage and prepared his tongue .

S- I know ,I should be punished but still I can't handle this . Won't you look at me annika?

The seeds of guilt and suffer was clear in his pleasing voice listening to which still, she acted the same.

A- I have no ideas to punish you shivaay, agar mein tumhe dekoongi tho pata nahi kya karthi phir. I can't control myself then . Just tell me why you called me here ?

Her quick reply registered that she too was desperately trying to hold on with her emotions . How serene was the moment when she called his name ,all the way after years .

Once again, silence prevailed for sometime before he thought to break it with his sudden flow of words .

S- shaadi karoge mujse?

Clink ,

She grabbed the mobile which she had just dropped on the ground. Her eyes boomed in shock, as she stumbled a bit in taking few steps ahead of him while he remained back at the same spot . The quivering lips of her's were pressed hard together. What even is he asking ? She trembled to sort out anything and stood folding arms close to her chest .

A- shivaay , I think you have forgotten something. Mein abi bhi vahi annika hoon . I still love you and I still am the same annika whom you thought would be affected more than you yourself because of the risks which you face in work.

She admitted clearly hearing which he had a weak smile on his face.

S- aren't you affected now annika ? Did my decision do any little of good to you? Doesn't seem so ,

Listening to his proclaiming words she blinked hard , holding tears within.

A - kyun ? ! Why are you doing this now ? I don't understand. Tumhare passion hi tera duniya haina ? What happened now ?

S- if only a world alone was enough to live , I wouldn't have come to you. Duniya hai tho teek hai ,par jeevan bhi zaroori haina ?

He emphasised and she felt her knees loosing strength . She definitely knew what he meant .

A- I don't want to be an obstacle in your life shivaay .

She mentioned and he reminisced their last conversation. Damn , what could only make things fine now ?

S- annika , tumhe kaise samjaaun ? I'm sorry annika . It's my fault, I'm sorry.

His voice broke cracking the words signifying how guilty he felt .

A- you should not be sorry shivaay . Tum mere liye ,muje chod diya haina . Don't be sorry . How can I be angry on you? Mein kaise ....?

That's it , stating all this in her choked voice she already fell down on her knees which betrayed to still hold her up. These five years had been so cruel to her. There were even times when she had thought to end her life herself ,maybe she can escape from pain but for the people around her, it will be the reason for their lifetime sorrow. That is wrong.

Where did love take her in life? But still ,she wasn't angry on him ,no. Infact she was raged on herself only. To have been fallen so weak in things regarding him , she herself was the reason for what paved way to all this . She cried facepalming herself. Hysterically, she cried  .

Immediately she felt him holding her shoulders in a firm grip ,as he too was kneeling down now.

S- I didn't do that to see you in this state annika . I thought to release you from all the fears but you being hurt like this is my worst nightmare .

Even now she wasn't just looking up to him rather just hid her face within her palms and kept crying.

A- what did you think shivaay ? I'll be in grief for sometime, and then I'll just move on as like that? That's all you know of me ?

She sounded accusing .

S- I'm sorry ,sorry .

He muttered in a low voice as his tears came running down his cheecks and gradually he left his self lean on her ,settling his head on her shoulders. He cried .

The warm springs of tears wetted her shoulders, when she released her palms off her face. If only she could just crush hide him within her and mutter few sweet words ,but she herself was so very weak by her side to do that  . Her hands just hung down without sparing a touch on him ,while he was entirely scooping her along as if he has got to hold one big huge treasure.

A- where did you go all these years shivaay ? Just because you came to know that I'd be marrying someone now . You want me back ,

She sniffed through each words ,and he shook his head which was still landing on her shoulder .

S- I was a fool annika , To save you from a pain I just offered another grief. You will be happy only with me , I know . And I just want you to be happy .

Wrapping his arms tight , he explained. She let a weak smile before speaking .

A- you caught me shivaay . This mad girl is never capable of forgetting you ever .

S- this . This is our problem annika . First we were afraid of our future and now we are living with our past , we never gave chance for the present! Mein iss duniya mei bass rehna nahi , jeena chahtha hoon annika.

His affirmative words hit straight into her heart . Hadn't she ever witnessed him in such a vulnerable state . He was speaking the  truth , they both were so much into their future then and now in past that they already forgot to live in the present. She knew ,his state was no less than her. Each moment she felt those fresh tears hitting her skin continuously, she could just sense something breaking within her worstly .

' jeena chahtha hoon mein annika ' he was mumbling the same . She couldn't hold on more ,

Pulling him off ,she directly cupped his face and looked straight into his eyes .

A miraculous moment it was ,

Those blue orbs held her arrested . How much did se miss him? He gently cuped her cheeck ,rubbing those tears off her skin while she just was involved in diving into his eyes .

' your captivating eyes revokes the spell to pierce in and touch my soul '

Their sync of breath happened. What even was this moment ! All he could feel was bliss , to have been given a chance to route into her and sense the undying love through her eyes .

If hiding from the reality could leave both in such a crucial sorrow then there's no use of hiding back . Both wanted to look upon a life which would offer them their lost joy which is possible only if they're together . If their fate played a vital role to take their relationship down, they were strengthened enough to fight with their bond of love which they knew never dies .

Certainly, this is all she wants . Her heart was screaming to ignore any thoughts and just take him . She was blind of any sort of future which might lead her life in some  tangent, but now... he is what all matters and she was alarmed on that . What else she could ask for in life if not this man here ?

She was definitely greedy to forget everything and hold onto him till eternity .

Palming his neck ,she blinked with a faint smile .

A- jeeyenge ham .

He froze,

She watched his eyes which were seemingly curious for confirmation and she just let a slight nod plastering a pleasant smile on her face which remains the only reason for his journey on earth .

Before she could know anything , she felt his lips trailing all over her face sealing numerous kisses on her skin from eyes to chin to cheeks and everywhere else .She just let him do it . Indeed ,she herself has been yearning for him . Removing all those strands of hair which played a barrier for his lips, he kissed her forehead feeling which she closed her eyes in contentment, greedy enough to sense out each and every cell of his lips on her skin.

' Distance is just a number when I have you latched within me  all the time '

And at once she pulled his collar that he straightly landed to hug her . Ruffling his hair gently, she traced her palm on his neck as if she was securing a little baby in her hands .

S- I love you annika .

His words screamed joy as he turned his head to let his lips linger on her hair and caressed her head smoothly . He smiled like a maniac feeling his long lost happiness once again .

A much needed meet did everything and erased all their sorrows . True love defines this , to travel  through anything and  get their love life .  Annika was still afraid of the risks in his life and he was concerned on her for that even now , but they were ready to accept their fears and   live through it.  After all, they will be together which itself is the big thing both wanted from life .

The moon seemed to appear soon today . Maybe it was greedy to witness the unity of two lovers.

This is  how shivika proved, that they didn't collide to pole back, rather to combine till eternity.
