10. Touched By An 'A'-ngel

Daniella sat in the school cafeteria, a small smile on her face as her thumb traced her bottom lip and she remember the kiss between her and Jason, the kiss was playing in her head on a constant loop, the kiss didn't just show Jason and Daniella's love for each other but it also represented hope for their relationship, for their love.

"You're day dreaming again" Aria told her sister, sitting next to Daniella and smiling seeing her sister's happy expression, Daniella having told her all about her and Jason's kiss.

Daniella looked at Aria sheepishly, "I can't help it" she said, "I'm just so happy".

"It's honestly about time" Aria teased.

"I know right" Daniella laughed.

Aria also laughed but before she could say anything else, a panicked Emily rushed over to their table, "Why are both your phones turned off?" she asked, placing her lunch tray infront of Aria and sitting down, "I was trying to reach you two all night".

"I was with Ezra" Aria informed, giving Emily an apologetic look.

"And I was with Jason" Daniella admitted, once again a smile forming on her face.

"You are so in love" Aria teased, seeing the smile on her sister's face.

"I really am" Daniella admitted.

Emily shook her head, in her mind, this wasn't right, Daniella shouldn't be falling in love with Jason again, "Dani, I need to talk to you about Jason" she said.

Daniella looked at Emily, excitement shown clearly on her face, "Me and Jason kissed" she revealed, unlike last time, this time Daniella wanted everyone to know that her and Jason were in love.

"Yeah, I know" Emily said.

Both Aria and Daniella looked at Emily in confusion, "How did you know before Dani told you?" Aria asked.

"Because A sent me and Spencer a picture of Jason and Dani kissing" Emily revealed.

"Okay, you know what, I am getting really sick of A announcing my relationship to people before I can" Daniella said annoyed.

"Dani, you and Jason can't be in a relationship" Emily said.

"Em, don't do this" Aria warned, not wanting Daniella's happy mood to turn foul.

Daniella narrowed her eyes at the Fields girl, "And why's that?" she asked, a challenging tone in her voice.

"Because Jason had pictures of you" Emily revealed.

"What?" Daniella asked, shocked as to how Emily knew about the pictures.

"Spencer and I found a darkroom in his woodshed" Emily informed, "He developed photographs of you, in some of the photos you were practically naked".

"And in some of the photos I was with Jason" Daniella retorted.

"How do you know that?" Spencer asked confused, coming and sitting next to Emily.

"These photos you are talking about, I know about them, Jason didn't take those without my permission" Daniella revealed.

"Dani, he's dangerous" Spencer said.

"No!" Daniella snapped, slamming her hands on the table and getting up, startling her friends, "He is not dangerous, he is anything but dangerous, he has done nothing to you two yet you guys are hell bent on making him the villain, the photos you found, I told him to take them so I could get his mind off of alcohol, you two really need to stop jumping to conclusions without knowing the whole freaking story because it's really starting to get on my nerves".

Before anyone could stop her, Daniella picked her bag up and left the cafeteria.

A disappointed Aria looked at Spencer and Emily, "You two just couldn't let her be happy today, could you?" she asked, also standing up and following her sister, leaving behind shocked Emily and Spencer who didn't expect Daniella to know about the photos.

After her fight with her friends, Daniella was walking down the corridor when her eyes landed on Jason, who was busy talking to one of the students, immediately seeing Jason, Daniella could feel her anger leave her body and all she could remember was Jason and their kiss.

Jason's eyes landed on Daniella and immediately a smile formed on his face, he said a goodbye to the student he was talking to and walked over to Daniella.

"Hey, can we talk?" Jason asked.

"Of course" Daniella replied, all of a sudden feeling very shy infront of Jason.

"I was wondering if you are free after school?" Jason asked.

"Why?" Daniella asked.

"Because I finally developed the pictures I took of you" Jason revealed, "And I was wondering if you wanted to see them?".

Daniella smiled, "I would love to" she said, "I've literally been waiting years for those photos".

Daniella didn't want Jason to know that she already knew he had developed the photos, first of all she didn't want to ruin his surprise, and second of all she didn't want to throw her friends under the bus, no matter how mad at her friends she is, Daniella would never put them in the wrong spotlight.

"Great" Jason smiled, "So meet me at the Grille after school?".

"Gladly" Daniella replied, walking away with a huge smile on her face.

Unknown to Jason or Daniella, Jenna had heard the conversation between them, and she now more then ever needed them to separate, she was scared being near Daniella was going to cause Jason to remember something she couldn't afford him to remember.

After school, Daniella went straight to the Grille to wait for Jason, while she was waiting for him, she got a text from Spencer.

Me and Toby found something that links Jason, Garret and Ian, call me back as soon as you get this!

Daniella frowned reading Spencer's text, she wondered what did Spencer and Toby find, she pressed on her contact to call her but before she could, Jason walked over to her.

"Mind if I sit down?" Jason asked.

Daniella looked up from her phone and smiled seeing the Dilaurentis boy, "Of course, I was saving this seat for you anyways" she said, causing Jason to smile and take a sit next to her, as Jason started talking to her, the text Spencer her, was forgotten by Daniella.

Daniella looked at the framed photos Jason brought with him, "These photos bring up so many memories" she whispered, tracing a photo of her and Jason together.

"Yeah, they do" Jason whispered, smiling at the photos.

Daniella looked at Jason and nudged her shoulder with his, "Turns out, I'm not the only one with a artistic side".

Jason chuckled, "My artistic side came out only when I was with you".

"That's not true" Daniella said.

"Yeah Dani, it is" Jason said, "Without you, I didn't take any photos or even touch my guitar".

"I learnt a song" Daniella mumbled.

"What?" Jason asked, not hearing Daniella clearly.

"I learnt a song on the guitar, just like I promised" Daniella clarified.

Jason smiled, "When am I hearing this song?" he asked.

"Never" Daniella replied.

"And why's that?" Jason asked, slightly confused.

Daniella sighed, "Because I already played that song for Noel" she admitted, closing her eyes in embarrassment.

"You played Noel a song you learned for me?" Jason asked, not knowing if he should be amused or jealous.

"Yeah, not one of my finest moments" Daniella said, "But in my defense, at the time I thought you cheated on me and I was adamant on never letting you near me".

"Is that still the case now?" Jason asked, "Are you still pushing me away?".

Daniella looked at Jason, "I can't do that now even if I tried" she whispered, causing Jason to look at her, as soon as he looked at her, Daniella could feel her emotions haywire, not wanting to do something stupid infront of everyone at the Grille, Daniella quickly shook her head and looked away from Jason, "So, how's the house renovations going?" she asked, quickly changing the subjects.

Jason chuckled seeing Daniella's obvious attempt at changing the subject, but nonetheless he played along, for now at least, "Good, I just started doing renovations in Ali's room, I pulled up her floorboard and found a box of her stuff".

Jason's words caught Daniella's attention, "What was in that box?" she asked, wondering if the box Jason found had something that pointed towards her true killer and would help show her friends that Jason was innocent.

Jason shrugged, "Nothing special, girl stuff".

"If it wasn't anything special then why would Ali hide it?" Daniella wondered.

"I don't know" Jason admitted, "Hiding things became such second nature for her I don't think she even knew why she was doing it half the time, something becomes a habit, it's hard to stop, you know?".

Daniella nodded in agreement, both her and Jason's mind going back to his alcohol habit, "Um, was there anything else you found of Ali?".

"No, just the box" Jason replied, "You can take a look at it if you want, it's back at the house".

Daniella thought about it for a second and then nodded her head, "Yeah sure, why not".

"Great" Jason said, smiling at the oldest Montgomery.

Jenna sat with Garrett in his car, "Did you tell him?" she asked.

Garrett nodded, "I told him that Jason and Daniella are back together".

"And what did he say about it?" Jenna asked.

"What do you think?" Garrett retorted, "The guy is obsessed with Daniella, we both know he isn't going to let her go just like that".

"So he's going to separate Jason and Daniella?" Jenna asked.

"He won't stop till they are separated" Garrett assured.

Jason and Daniella walked towards the Dilaurentis house in silence, the silence wasn't uncomfortable though, it was peaceful, words didn't need to be exchanged between the two for the other to know what they were feeling.

"The box is in the woodshed" Jason informed, as they arrived at his house, "You stay here, I'll bring the box then we can go into the house together".

Daniella nodded, "Sounds good" she said.

"Be back in a sec" Jason said.

"Take your time" Daniella assured, as Jason walked towards the back of his house, leaving Daniella all by herself.

As Daniella stood there waiting for Jason to come back, her eyes landed on the flowers that Jason had planted in his front yard, a small smile formed on her face seeing them, she walked over to the flowers and started admiring it, just as Daniella lightly touched the flowers, a hand covered in a black gloved, was wrapped around her mouth and she was pulled against a hard chest.

Immediately, Daniella started panicking she tried to get out of this person's grip but they were too strong for her, with their hand still around a struggling Daniella's mouth, this mystery person started dragging Daniella away, after a bit more struggling Daniella managed to bit the person's hand, very hard.

"Jason!" Daniella managed to get before the mystery person once again clasped their hand over her mouth and started dragging her away.

Jason, who was walking out of the woodshed after grabbing Alison's box of things, heard Daniella's panicked yell, he immediately placed Alison's things on the floor and ran towards Daniella. As soon as Jason was infront of the Dilaurentis house, he was shocked seeing a person in a black hoddie trying to drag Daniella away, Jason couldn't see the person's face as he had a black mask covering their face, but from his built Jason could tell the person was a guy.

"Daniella!" Jason yelled, running over to the oldest Montgomery.

The person seeing Jason running towards them, immediately pushed Daniella towards Jason, and as Jason grabbed Daniella to prevent her from falling, the mystery man took this opportunity to run away from the couple. 

Though Jason wanted to run after the guy, his number one priority was making sure Daniella was okay, who was clutching his hand like if she let go she will collapse, looking at the oldest Montgomery, he saw that she was extremely shaken, her breathing was heavy and tears were streaming down her face.

"Dani" Jason whispered, taking a small step towards Daniella, not wanting to startle her.

Daniella looked at Jason, the broken look on her face hurting his heart, "Jason I--", Daniella tried to get words out but because of her sobs no words would come out.

"Shhh" Jason said, bringing Daniella into his embrace, he ran his hand through her hair, "It's okay Dani, you're okay, I've got you".

Daniella shook her head, she then clutched the collar of Jason's shirt in her hand as tightly as she could. Jason, seeing that Daniella was going to calm down anytime soon, picked her up in his arms and proceeded to take her into the house.

After talking to Spencer and trying to get her to stop investigating, Jenna sat in Garrett's car.

"She knows about us" Jenna informed, "They know about us, and she's looking at yearbooks, it's only a matter of time before they figure it out if they haven't already".

"He failed to take Daniella away from Jason" Garrett informed, worrying Jenna even more, "What do we do now?".

"We use Jason's weakness against him" Jenna said, "His biggest fear is losing Daniella again, if he thinks the N.A.T club will tear him and Daniella apart, he will himself do our work for us, he will stop Daniella and her friends from looking for answers, if we can't separate them then we have to use their love against them".

"A did what?!" A shocked Spencer asked Aria, as the girls minus Daniella sat in Hanna's room.

"A tried to kidnap Daniella" an extremely worried Aria said, sitting on Hanna's bed, "You guys, I've never seen her so shaken before, Dani has always been the stronger twin and seeing her so shaken, so paranoid hurt so much, I hated seeing her like that".

Hanna placed a comforting hand on Aria's shoulder.

"Where's Dani now?" Spencer asked, "Is she with your parents?".

Aria shook her head, "My parent's don't know what happened to her".

"So where's Dani?" Hanna asked, "Please don't tell me you left her alone".

"Of course not" Aria said, "Dani's currently with Jason".

"Jason?" Emily asked shocked, "Aria, how could you leave her alone with Jason?".

"Because Jason is the one who saved her" Aria snapped, "He is the one who held her while she cried her eyes out, Jason is the one who stopped her from losing her mind because of paranoia, from accidently hurting herself in her panic".

"Jason was part of the N.A.T club, which means he could be part of the A team" Spencer snapped back.

"If he was part of the A team then why would he save Dani from A?" Aria challenged.

"To gain her trust?" Emily suggested.

"For gods sake, just stop" Aria said, standing up from the bed, "Stop doubting Jason and Daniella's love, it's insulting to Dani".

"Why aren't you saying anything?" Emily asked Hanna.

Hanna sighed, "Because I kind of agree with Aria".

"Seriously?" a frustrated Spencer asked.

"Spence, this isn't the first time Jason has saved Dani" Hanna reminded, "For some reason A is physically targeting Dani, with trying to run her over, breaking into her house and burning her sketches and now trying to kidnap her, but every single time Jason has been there for Dani, we don't have to trust him but I agree with Aria, we have to stop doubting his love", Hanna looked towards Aria, "Hey do you think Jason would mind if I go over to check on Dani?".

"Of course not" Aria assured, "I'm anyways going to go check up on her, Jason knows I'm coming so you can just come with me", Hanna nodded in appreciation, Aria then looked towards Spencer and Emily, "You two coming?".

"I'm not entering that house" Spencer stated.

"Me neither" Emily said.

"God guys, grow up" Hanna snapped, "Our best friend needs us, she just went through something traumatic and instead of being there for her you guys are being children".

"Forget them Hanna, clearly they care more about their false accusations then Dani" Aria said, glaring at her two friends.

  "Once Dani finds out, she's going to be so hurt" Hanna told Spencer and Emily.

Aria and Hanna then grabbed their bags and left the room, leaving behind guilty Spencer and Emily.

"Hey" Jason greeted, opening his front door and seeing Aria and Hanna.

"Hey" Aria greeted, while Hanna gave Jason a small smile.

"How is she?" Hanna asked.

Jason sighed, "Quiet and clearly still really scared" he replied, he then looked towards Daniella's sister and friend, "Do you two have any idea who is after Dani? Do you know why someone is constantly targeting her?".

Aria and Hanna looked at each other, then at Jason, "No" Aria finally said, "We have no idea who this person is".

Jason looked at Aria and Hanna, it was clear with the look on his face that he didn't believe them, "She's in the living room" he finally said, stepping out of the way and letting the two girls in.

Hanna and Aria entered the Dilaurentis living room, entering it they saw Daniella sitting infront of the fireplace, a blanket was wrapped around her shoulders and a cup of her favorite tea was placed infront of her.

"Dani" Hanna called out.

Hearing her friend's voice, Daniella looked towards her and immediately seeing her sister and Hanna caused tears to well in her eyes, "I can still feel it's touch" she whispered.

"Oh, Dani" Aria whispered, her heart hurting seeing her sister like this.

Without wasting another moment, both Hanna and Aria went and sat on either side of Daniella and side hugged her.

"What if it had taken me?" Daniella cried.

"Shh" Hanna whispered, rubbing Daniella's back, "Don't think like that, you're safe, Jason saved you and now we are here, we don't let anything happen to you".

Hearing Hanna, Daniella started sobbing, she then hugged Hanna who gladly hugged her and let her cry it out, knowing this is what she needed.

Jason stood in the entrance of the living looking at the girl he loves crumble like this, he hated seeing her like this, now more then ever he needed to find who was targeting Daniella and why, he had a small doubt but he can't blame anyone without being sure, but he swears if the person he thinks is doing all this then that person had something he wasn't prepared coming towards him.
