09. Picture This

"Oh god, I am so late" a panicked Daniella said, running down her schools empty corridor in order to reach her class before they marked her as absent, however before she could reach her class, she passed an empty classroom, from which a hand came out, the hand grabbed Daniella's wrist and pulled her into the classroom.

Immediately Daniella started panicking, her instinct was to immediately yell for help but before she could the person who pulled her into the classroom, put their hand over Daniella's mouth and trapped her between the door and themselves.

"Shh" Daniella heard a familiar voice whisper into her ear.

Daniella opened her eyes and breathed a sigh of relief when she realised it was Jason who had pulled her into the empty classroom.

"What the hell Jason?" Daniella snapped, shoving Jason away from her, "You scared the hell out of me!".

Jason didn't say anything, he just stared at Daniella, confusing the Montgomery girl but before she could say anything to him, Jason once again stepped closer to Daniella, he put one of his hand into her hair and grabbing a fist full of Daniella's hair, he pulled Daniella closer to him, immediately causing Daniella's breathing to go haywire.

"Jason" Daniella whispered, not knowing what was happening, but whatever was happening, Daniella didn't want it to stop.

Jason didn't say anything to Daniella, he simply smashed his lips on to hers, the roughness and eagerness of his kiss made Daniella let out a small moan. As soon as Jason heard Daniella's small moan, he shoved the Montgomery girl against the door and without breaking their kiss Jason started unbuttoning Daniella's shorts, just as his hand went near Daniella's underwear, Daniella's dream broke.

In reality, a shocked Daniella gasped and sat up, with her alarm clock beeping in the backyard, an extremely hot and bothered Daniella, ran her hands over her face in frustration, the dream she just had of Jason just made Daniella want to jump his bones in reality, and Daniella feared that the next time she saw the Dilaurentis boy, she won't be able to stop herself.

"I am so screwed" Daniella whispered, laying back on her bed.

"You should listen to Hanna, Em" Daniella said, looking down at the text A sent Emily, it was a copy of her laboratory results that clearly showed that there were traces of human growth hormones found in Emily's system, "A doesn't own you, the bitch is just trying to get under your skin and scare you".

"Well, it's working" Emily said, grabbing her phone back from Daniella, "Did you find out why your brother broke into my garage?".

"Nope" Daniella replied, "I tried to talk to him but he is adamant on not talking to me or anybody else for that matter".

"What's going on with him?" a concerned Emily asked.

"I wish I knew" Daniella said, even more concerned then Emily, "And it doesn't help that my mom and dad keep turning to me and Aria, they think we know what's happening to him, but we know nothing, and that worries our parents even more".

As Emily and Daniella arrived at Daniella's locker, both the girls saw Jason walk by, his eyes connected with Daniella's for a moment and he gave her a small smile.

"What's he doing here?" Emily asked, also seen Jason.

Daniella smiled back at Jason and tried really hard not to remember the dream she had this morning, but seeing Jason, it was proving much harder then she thought.

"Um" a slightly flustered Daniella turned back to Emily, "He's here because he counsels kids on substance abuse".

"Why is he smiling at you?" Emily asked curiously, thinking that Jason and Daniella had gotten back together and Daniella hadn't told anyone.

Daniella looked at Emily as if she as lost her mind, "Seriously?" she asked, "Em, you know that there is something going on between me and Jason, why are you surprised that his smiling at me?".

"So something happened between you two?" Emily asked.

"No" Daniella replied honestly, "Nothing happened between us".

"Then why did you get so flustered when he smiled at you?" Emily asked, still suspicious.

"Because I had a sex dream about him last night" an annoyed Daniella revealed, walking away from Emily no longer in a mood to talk to her.

"Dani!" Emily yelled, running after her friend, "You need to realise that he might be a killer".

"Don't" Daniella warned, glaring at Emily, "Don't you dare say that, weren't you the one convinced that Ian killed Alison? Wait, before that wasn't it Toby? Whose next Em, me? Aria? Who are you guys going to blame next".

"Dani, why won't you understand" a frustrated Emily said, "Jason is linked to a weapon that could have dented Ali's skull".

"Alison is his sister!" Daniella snapped, getting more angry as this conversation went on, "You guys don't know him like I do, okay?! Yes he and Alison had problems between them, but he loved his sister, he would never kill her, so stop blaming him, because if you don't stop, then you will lose my friendship, because I am sick and tired of you guys not trusting my word, I'm not asking you to trust Jason, I'm asking you to trust me, trust that the guy I love isn't a killer, he isn't the bad guy, but if you can't do that, then maybe I'm friends with the wrong people".

Daniella turned around to leave, when she came across Hanna, Spencer and Aria, the looks on their faces was enough to tell her that they heard everything, without saying anything to anyone else, Daniella ran away.

Aria looked at Hanna, Spencer and Emily with a disappointing look, "You guys need to stop with this obsession on pinning Ali's murder on Jason, because you're hurting Dani, you're making her choose between the man she loves and her friends, she's hurting because of her own friends, so stop, because no matter what you do, you won't be able to separate Jason and Daniella, but you might lose Daniella's friendship".

Aria then walked away from her friends and in the direction her sister had ran in, knowing after her outburst, she wouldn't be okay and Aria wanted to be there for her sister, leaving behind her conflicted friends.

After finding her sister and calming her down, Aria took her to the cafeteria, and despite Daniella's protest, Aria forced Daniella to come have lunch with everyone else, but despite sitting with her friends, Daniella was still closed off from her friends.

"She's getting tested to see if she qualifies for a prosthetic cornea transplant" Spencer informed her friends.

"English, please" Aria said, as Hanna sat back down after her call with her mom.

"They're gonna see if they can replace the damaged part of her eyes" Spencer clarified.

"What are we talking about?" Hanna asked confused.

"Jenna" Aria replied, causing Hanna to turn around and look at the table Jenna was sitting on, all alone.

"They're taking out her eyeballs?" Hanna asked, slightly disgusted.

"No, it's not the whole eyeball" Spencer replied, "It's just the flap over the pupil".

"Could we not talk about eye flaps while we're eating, please?" Emily said, feeling extremely disgusted.

"They really think that this can work?" Aria asked.

"I don't know" Spencer replied honestly, "Toby says she still needs to take more tests to see if she qualifies, but, it's possible".

"Wait, so if Jenna gets her sight back does that mean that we're off the hook for.." Hanna trailed off, referring to the Jenna thing.

"Guilt wise, yes" Daniella said, finally speaking up, "But not in the eyes of law".

"Dani's right, it's like if you break somebody's leg with a baseball bat even if that leg heals, you could still be charged with assault" Spencer added.

"She wouldn't come after us" Emily assured, "She still thinks we have Ali's tape".

"But we don't, and that'll be much easier for her to figure out if she can see" Spencer pointed out.

"But guys, maybe if she can see again we can stop all this whispering" Aria suggested, "She'll lose her taste for revenge".

"Or will develop a bigger urge for revenge" Daniella retorted, "And make things much worse for us".

"It's already so bad, how can it get worse?" Emily asked.

"Well, for one, she will be able to aim a gun" Spencer replied.

"Look, Spencer's right" Hanna said, "Jenna's scary enough with four senses, can you imagine what she's gonna do to us with all five?".

After school, Daniella decided she needed a hot shower to get rid of her anger, walking into her bathroom, Daniella stripped out of all her clothes, she then walked over to her shower and turned the knobs and let the water flow till it got to her desired temperature.

Once the mirrors were fogged up, Daniella finally stepped into the shower and let the water run down her body, suddenly an arm wrapped around Daniella's waist and her back was pulled against a hard chest.

"You can't stop thinking about me, can you?" Jason whispered, kissing down neck Daniella's neck, as the water fell down on both of them.

In reality, Daniella gasped and sat up, looking around she realised instead of showering, she had fallen asleep on the couch after school.

Daniella ran her hand through her hair, and took deep breaths to calm her racing heart down, "What the hell are you doing to me, Jason?".

Next morning Daniella walked down the stairs, extremely exhausted as she didn't sleep the entire night, every time she tried to sleep she would dream about Jason and would somehow wake herself up.

"Hey mom, I think I'm going to drink coffee today" Daniella said, entering the living room while rubbing her eyes, not realising that it wasn't her mom in the living room.

"Daniella Montgomery drinking coffee, that's a first".

Hearing the familiar voice that has been invading her dreams, immediately caused Daniella to open her eyes and look at the person in shock, "Jason" she whispered, wondering if this was real or a dream.

"Hey" Jason greeted, smiling at Daniella, "Your dad let me in, he said you'd be down in a minute".

"You're real?" Daniella asked.

Jason looked at Daniella in slight confusion, "What?" he asked.

Daniella shook her head, "Nevermind, I'm sorry" she quickly said, realising this wasn't a dream, if it was a dream her and Jason wouldn't be talking, they would be doing other things, "Um so, why are you here?".

"Uh, I wanted to give you this" Jason said, handing Daniella a card.

"Nico Stamos, Cramer Hill Youth Center" Daniella read, she then looked up at Jason, confusion evident on her face.

"I met him at a counseling seminar earlier today" Jason explained, "I figured if Mike was open to it he might be able to help--".

"Wait" Daniella interrupted, "What did you tell this guy about Mike?".

"Not much, why?" Jason asked.

Daniella sighed, "My parents are trying to keep this on the low" she replied.

"I didn't tell him about the police" Jason assured, "But I did tell him that you were worried about him, though".

"I was worried about Mike before, now I'm terrified about him" Daniella said, "I don't know what's going on with him and I don't know how to help him out of this either, I feel useless".

"Hey" Jason said, putting his hand on Daniella's shoulder, "He will be okay, just give it some time".

Daniella nodded at Jason, but his words were not registering in her head, all she could think about was his touch.

"Oh, god" Daniella said, taking a step back from Jason, causing him to retrieve his hand back.

"Dani?" a confused Jason asked, wondering what's wrong with the Montgomery girl.

"You can't touch me, Jason" Daniella stated.

"And why's that?" Jason asked.

"Because when you touch me, I want to jump on you" Daniella blurted out, and once she realised what she said, she immediately slapped a hand over her mouth and looked at an amused Jason, a horrified expression clearly shown on her face, "Oh no, that wasn't supposed to come out", Jason opened his mouth, but Daniella having an idea about what he was about to say yelled, "No! Don't open your mouth Jason, I know what you're going to say and I don't need to hear that right now, already your dreams have messed with my head, I don't need you to mess with me anymore".

Before Jason could stop her, Daniella turned around and ran back into her room, while an amused Jason watched on, from Daniella's words and actions Jason knew she was going through a lot, so Jason left the Montgomery house, but that doesn't mean he wasn't going to come back, especially now since he knew that Daniella was thinking about him as much as he was thinking about her.

At night, Emily and Spencer walked towards the Dilaurentis shed after Spencer suspected Jason of hiding something there.

"Look, I don't trust Jason either but I'm not so sure breaking into his shed is a good idea" Emily said, "And did you forget about Dani? If she finds out about this, then there's a chance we lose her friendship forever".

"Okay first of all, it's not breaking in if you have a key" Spencer said, "And second of all, Dani is blinded by Jason's love, we need to get her to see his reality now more then ever", as the two girls arrived at the shed, Spencer grabbed the key from one of the top panels, seeing Jason put it there, "Jason blacked out the windows on his shed, aren't you the least bit curious why? We'll be in and out in five minutes, just trust me".

Spencer unlocked the shed's door and the two girls entered the extremely dark shed, as soon as they entered the bumped into something.

"What the hell was that?" a slightly afraid Spencer asked.

"I don't know" a equally afraid Emily replied.

"Keep moving" Spencer ordered.

The two girls pulled the curtains aside and walked further into the shed.

"What is this place?" a confused Spencer asked.

"Ugh!" Emily panicked, as something hit her head, "Something just hit me".

Spencer turned the red light on and looked down and realised a photo had hit Emily, it was a photo of a girl's lips, the two girls looked around and the pictures surrounding them shocked them.

"It's Jason's darkroom" Spencer realised.

"Spence, all of these photos are of Dani" a panicked Emily said, looking at the photos Jason had developed.

Some of the photos were candid photos of Daniella, with her eating, drinking or even a reading a book, other photos consisted of Daniella laying in someone's bed, asleep, and there was also many intimate photos of Jason and Daniella.

"Do you think Dani knows these photos exist?" Emily asked, suddenly very worried for her friend's safety.

"Look at these photos Em, in none of these photos is Dani looking at the camera, it's clear she didn't know Jason was taking these photos" Spencer pointed out.

"But they were in a relationship" Emily reminded, "Why would Jason take sneaky pictures of Dani, and in some of these pictures his with Dani".

"Please don't tell me you're starting to believe Jason's fake love" Spencer said.

"I don't know what to believe, okay?" Emily said, "All I know is that I don't want to lose Dani's friendship, so can we please get out of here? My goosebumps are getting goosebumps".

Spencer nodded and the two girls turned to leave when Spencer's eyes landed on a box full of camera equipment, "Jason's camera equipment" she pointed out to Emily, "This isn't for developing photographs, this is surveillance equipment".

"For his house?" Emily asked.

"For spying on people" Spencer retorted.

"What are you saying?" Emily asked, "You think he's been watching us this whole time?".

"I think these photos of Dani were not an act of love, but an act of obsession" Spencer said, "Dani isn't safe with Jason, and we need to make her realise that".

"But how?" Emily asked, "We've tried talking to her but she won't listen to us".

Before Spencer could say anything, the two girls heard a car door shut, "He's home" a panicked Spencer realised, pushing Emily towards the exist, in the process causing Emily to drop her flashlight, "Just forget it!" Spencer told Emily, and the two girls rushed out the door before Jason could catch any of them.

At night, after grabbing food for herself and her family from the Grille, Daniella was walking down the pavement when Jason stopped his car near her.

"Dani" Jason called out, grabbing the oldest  Montgomery's attention.

"Hey" Daniella greeted, giving Jason a small smile, still feeling extremely awkward from their encounter in the morning, "What are you doing here?".

Jason got out of his car, "I had to buy a padlock for my shed" he informed, "Somebody broke in today".

"It wasn't Mike" Daniella quickly defended, not wanting Jason to think that her brother was the one who broke into his shed, "He hasn't left his bedroom since Thursday".

"I didn't go there" Jason said, assuring Daniella he didn't think it was Mike who broke into his shed, "Listen, I'm glad I bumped into you, I was hoping we could talk".

While Jason and Daniella were talking, they didn't see Garrett and Jenna sitting in their car, spying on them.

"From the way Daniella's looking at Jason, I think he has told her the truth" Garrett told Jenna.

"If those two get back together and she starts asking him about that night, and he remembers--".

"He won't" Garrett interrupted.

"You don't know that" Jenna snapped, "What are they doing now? Oh, forget it, soon, I'll be able to see for myself".

Garrett shook his head at Jenna, he then turned back to Jason and Daniella to see what they were doing.

"About what?" Daniella asked.

Jason looked at Daniella for a second, he then shook his head, "Actually you know what, I don't want to talk anymore" he suddenly said, making Daniella look at him in confusion, but before she could ask him anything, Jason stepped forward and before Daniella could register anything his lips were on hers.

After breaking the kiss, Daniella and Jason stared at each other, the next second Daniella dropped her food on to the ground, she put her hand on the back of Jason's neck and pulled him into another heated kiss, who smiled into the kiss and gladly kissed Daniella back.

Garrett, who saw everything, turned to Jenna, "They're back together" he informed.

Jenna sighed, "We can't let this happen, Daniella and Jason can't be together, we need to find a way to separate them".

Garrett nodded in agreement, and after sparing Jason and Daniella one last glance, he finally drove away.

"How did Jason get those pictures?" Emily asked, as her and Spencer stood in the Hasting's living room, trying to get the other three girls on the line.

"He took them, when he was stalking Dani" Spencer replied.

Emily sighed, "Dani is so in love with this guy, she has no idea how sick he is".

"Hanna or Aria aren't picking up" Spencer informed.

"Dani isn't either" Emily said.

"Well, try her again" Spencer urged, just as her phone beeped, looking down she realised it was a message from A, "Oh my god".

"What?" Emily asked.

Spencer showed Emily the photo and message A had sent her. Emily looked at the photo and realised it was a photo of Daniella kissing Jason on the pavement, from Jason's clothes, they could tell this was today.

"You're too late, A" Emily read, she then looked at Spencer in worry, "What does A mean?".

"It means Dani has fallen into Jason's trap" Spencer replied.
