You and Annie are riding on your motorcycle heading for the outpost.

"We're almost there," you said to her.

Annie: "This legless iron horse isn't like anything I've seen before."

"Well, I guess where you are from still had a lot of catching up to do. Unfortunately, the Titans ended up ruining everything."

Annie: "Well, aside from the titans consuming civilizations, you have a way to fight them?"

"Fire on the upper parts of their backs until they drop dead or fire a round strong enough to go right through the upper part of their chest."

Annie: "Actually, we found out a more direct and precise way of killing them."

"Tell me. I'm being serious, tell me. Might save us a lot of resources."

Annie: "Cutting the napes of their necks is enough to kill them."

"Seriously? We've been having massive ambushes so we can fire whatever we had at them."

Annie: "Well, it took a long ass time for my former kingdom to discover that."

"Well, show me what you can do when we get there."

Annie: "Gladly."

The two of you arrived at the outpost and saw it under attack by four titans. Annie uses some kind of grappling hook and compressed gas to move around, then she fired her hooks at a Titan before using her blades to cut off its nape. True to what she said, the Titan dies from the one attack.

She then cuts off another Titan's nape and draws the other Titans toward her. The outpost then fire their weapons and hit the Titans in the areas Annie directed her attacks. The Titans fall and ended up disintegrating.

Annie then went back to you, and you are surprised at her skills.

"You weren't kidding. You didn't spend a dozen artillery shells to take down those things."

Annie: "Well, those that chose to join the military and their divisions."

"If you're interested, you could join the Ark. It's where the remains of civilization on our continent reside. With how you took down those titans, you could teach us how to do that."

Annie: "Well, I don't really have anywhere else to go, so, alright."

"Then let's head for the Ark."

Annie got back on your motorcycle and you drove away.
