Im going to be speeding through the next couple months of earths advance into space technology so this isn't a filler chapter.

Over the next couple months earth nations space programs had begun to have large priority by there government, those who had already been well ahead, lead the advancement into space. and beginning a second space race.

Even if earth was united in its common goal to outpace the republic and expand into space it was instantly competitive in it, wanting to do so faster then the others to gain greater power in what would come next. which isn't clearly defined.

New more advanced space craft based off of simpler republic designs would begin to be made across the board meaning multiple states could send the rockets in to space and bring them back.

The ISS would also begin to grow. before it had been extremely expensive to get equipment into space but now the rockets were a cheap alternative to bring things to the iss. allowing its growth.

Many nations still didnt want to tell the populace about the aliens. constantly pushing the date back and back. waiting for even more distant events to happen. they wanted to be sure panic wouldn't sweep there nations. meaning they wanted to be able to show earth was on its way to becoming a galaxy spanning civilization.  even if they could get funding easier with the public knowing the public also might do stupid things with the knowledge that the republic existed.

Meanwhile sabayeths* thirst for revenge grows alongside his interest in the darkside. he now saw the jedi as fools for being so weak as to not investigate the opposite side of the force, as he dabbled in it he found more ways he could use to destroy the chiss. especially the one that had attacked and nearly killled him. thrawn.

But as he was deep in his meditations and findings he began to notice something odd.

When he was deep in meditation he could sense the other jedi easily. they often attempted to shun him from there minds. but he could easily prey on the weaker padawans who hadn't learned how to fully defend there minds from the force.

But he also began to notice something new the longer he stayed on earth. even though it was almost like a void with him not capable of sensing none jedi he began to sense pinpricks of sentience randomly across the planet. the more he investigated them and the longer he was on the planet. the more he confirmed that indeed they weren't jedi that he was feeling.

But that was impossible. earth was devoid of anything pertaining to the force.it weakened it. so how could he sense these people. yes. people he began to reason as he began to hear soft voices from the closer ones he focused on. nothing that a animal should think about unless earth had more then 1 intelligent species. the agents had told him that the humans were the only intelligent beings capable of developing societies.

As he confirmed his findings he also told the agents about it. they didnt take much notice at 1st until sabayeth began to get really worked up about it. he was confused and intrigued. and it began to effect how he operated with the humans so they decided to investigate it.

They didnt want to interact with the civilian population so they looked for someone in the us who's conscious sabeyeth was feeling that they could get a vow of silence from easily.

it appeared that sabayeth had found at least 1 person who was in the general vicinity of a military base and the agents descided to investigate it as long as sabayeth promised to get back to work.

Sabayeth agreed and they went on a flight to find the person.

Luckily the Person they had indicated was indeed a member of the us army and they could easily pull a vow of silence from him before sabayeth began to pick his brain. asking him about force related things.

Along the flight Sabayeth had come to the conclusion that either the majority of the humans were capable of concealing there link to the force naturally and that this was an acception, or the pinpricks he felt were humans capable of using the force.

The soldier that was supposedly force sensitive was firmly confused (since star wars doesnt exist. if it did things would be a lot more confusing.) and told sabayeth he had no idea what he was talking about.

After several minutes of prodding sabayeth decided that trying to convince the soldier through words wouldn't work. and that he needed something physical.

Sabayeth silently picked at his brain looking for something that would alert the soldier to his abilities that he could use.

Which turned out to be the exact thing he needed

The soldier sensed what sabayeth was doing and was firmly weirded out by it before sabayeth convinced him that this was evidence of what he was saying. not just a crazy man spouting theories. mostly by telling him this via force communications.

Sabayeth requested for the soldier to be brought back to the facility he was being held in and the us was against that since giving sabayeth another way to be distracted wasnt going to help them at all. instead telling him that if he proved that he could still help, he might be able to investigate his strange findings. which annoyed sabayeth but he found the deal agreeable.

And heres scene 3. short but hopefully its still interesting. c,boath* is now learning about humans with access to the force, a new space race is happening. and earth is continueing to reach for the stars more then ever, hope you enjoyed it, have a nice day.

*also i looked up his name to see how sabeyeth looks like and found out that my wording was wrong. if you wonder how i got it so off i listened to the audiobook and didnt read the book so i sounded it out instead of using it how it should actually be. do you guys want me to go back and begin to use the actual name or are you fine with it?
