Never have I ever

Chapter 22: Never have I ever

Cheyenne's POV

I was laying on my bed in my brand new room in this brand new house in this brand new neighborhood closer to the school.

Take a moment to digest that.

My new room had it's own connecting bathroom and a lock so I could finally get some privacy. Daniel got his own room too and Ava shared a room with my parents.

I hadn't unpacked most of my stuff yet and I was bone tired. At the moment I was currently flipping through a fashion magazine looking for dress ideas. There was a knock on my door.

"It's me. Can I come in?" Mom asked from outside.

"That's the beauty of a lock," I said loudly enough so she could hear. "It keeps unwanted people out."

"Cheyenne..."

"Ok ok I'm coming." I slid off my bed and opened the door. She stood in paint splattered overalls and a bandana to hold her curls back. Her and my dad had been painting the kitchen.

"Are you settling in ok?"

"I'm settling in as well as anyone whose parents abandoned her then came back and then tell her she's suddenly rich."

"Could you maybe stop with the snide remarks and snappy comments? Give me a break." She sounded angry.

"I'm closing the door now." I began to shut it in her face but she held it open with her foot.

"Can't you at least try to forgive us? What do you want me to do Cheyenne? I'll spend the rest of my life trying to make this up to you." She honestly looked upset and a crack formed in my steel armor.

"I can't explain it to you mom," I sighed running a hand over my face. "I just need to be mad for a while ok? It's not easy to just get over these things. But I promise I'll try harder."

"Ok." She replied softly.

I nodded and closed the door, flopping back down on my bed. Just then my phone rang.

"Now what?" I grouched accepting the call. "Hello?"

"Hey Cheyenne. It me Krystal."

"Krystal? How'd you get my number?" I sat up surprised.

"From Sebastian. Listen I'm holding a sleepover tonight. Wanna come?"

"You're inviting me to a sleepover?" My head was spinning.

"Yes. It'll just be me, you, and Rosie."

"But- but- we're not even friends?"

"Are you coming or not?" She snapped. I thought about it. Krystal wasn't too bad. Maybe I could be her friend. If Reese liked her enough then she must have some redeeming qualities about her. Plus this was my chance to get the scoop on their so called 'friendship.'

"I'll be there."

"Good see you tonight." Then the line went dead.

---------

I met Sebastian at the park later that afternoon. He was seated on a swing and patted his lap when he saw me.

"So explain." He said as soon as I sat down.

"No hello or how are you?"

He frowned. "Not until you tell me everything."

So I started from the part my dad left us up until now, making sure not to leave a single part out. I must've been talking for at least an hour. When I finished his face was blank.

"Say something." I nudged him nervously.

"Holy shitballs."

"Crazy right?" I played with a curl that had fallen lose from my ponytail.

"But I don't understand. Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" I glanced at him remorsefully.

"I just- it was really tough for me at the time. And I didn't want to ruin this," I gestured between us. "When I was with you during those times, it felt like everything was normal, everything was ok. Being with you made me forget all my problems. I guess if I had told you, then things might have been different and I didn't want that."

"You know you can tell me anything right?" He looked at me seriously.

"Yeah I know. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." I rested my head on his shoulder.

"My sister is autistic." He blurted and I looked at him in shock.

"What?"

"Just thought you should know since we're airing our dirty laundry." He shrugged.

"So that's why..." I trailed off.

"Yep." He finished for me.

"Anything else?"

"My dad almost choked her to death once."

My hand flew to cover my mouth. "Oh my gosh that's horrible!"

"Tell me about it. And my mom doesn't know. None of us want to tell her because she's already dealing with a lot."

I didn't know what to say so I took his hand in mine and gave him a reassuring squeeze.

"I know you have it pretty rough," He said staring at the sky. "But I think you should forgive your parents. They're trying to make it right. And really, what more can anyone ask for. Life is too short to hold grudges. One minute they can be there, and the next gone."

His words struck me like lightning. Sebastian lived his life never knowing when his mom's time would come. It must be horrible to have that constant fear hanging over your shoulder. My mom may have left but she came back wanting to fix things. So had my dad. We could be a family again.

But only if I wanted it.

"When did you become so wise?" I murmured.

"I have wisdom far beyond my years," He said in a deep voice.

Then I gently turned his face toward mine and kissed him as we rocked gently in the breeze.

Reese's POV

"Your mom told me I might find you here."

"Fuck off."

Samantha sat on the ground next to me. I didn't need to look at her to know she was staring intently at me.

"Smoking is bad for your health," She spoke.

"So I've been told," I snapped sarcastically before stomping out the cigarette. "Happy?" I was on break before I headed back inside for more grueling work and she was ruining the little peace I'd been having.

"So how's life?" She asked casually like we were old buddies or some shit.

I rolled my eyes. "You sound like my therapist. I'd sooner chop my dick off than talk to you about my life."

"You certainly aren't the same as when I last saw you."

I didn't say anything and stared straight ahead.

"When did you get tattoos?" She looked at my arms. Finally I turned to her.

"Enough with the questions and bullshit attempts at making conversation. What do you want?"

"You look just like him." She whispered and thats when I'd had enough. I was cutting my break short.

She must've sensed I was about to leave because she grabbed my arm. "No wait I'm sorry, just- hear me out ok?" I sat back down.

"Your mom is worried about you. She wants you to come home."

"Are you still there?"

"Well...yes."

"Then no."

"Reese I came here because I regret leaving all those years ago. Your family to me and I hate to see you throw your life away like this."

"So my moms already bad mouthing me to you huh? She doesn't waste any time."

"Drug abuse is a serious issue Reese do you understand? It's not to be taken lightly."

"The fuck?" I stood up. "So I've popped a few pills here and there, tried some new stuff. I am definitely not a drug addict and I don't need you of all people to tell me what to do. You think you can just come and what exactly? Fix your own problems first, then we can work on mine."

I headed back inside without waiting for her response.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Yo Marcus!" I called out after getting back from work.
"In here!"
I made my way to the purple lounge where he was currently leaning over the pool table.
"Grab a cue stick."
"Man I haven't played in forever," I chuckled taking my position at the opposite end of the table.
"Did you bring food?"
"Yeah there's a bag of tacos in the kitchen."
"Sweet. Eight ball corner pocket." He called and took his shot sinking it.
"Hey what's up with Kimora hanging around here a lot?" I questioned lining up my own shot.
"She called me a while back asking for weed," Marcus replied standing. "Kept calling for more and told me not to tell you."
"Really? Why the hell should I care if she wants to smoke or not. Just the other day we smoked some together at the park."
"Well when I refused to sell her anymore she somehow found her way here and stole some from me."
I whistled. "How'd she get away with that?"
"Long story. I guess she met Alicia and now their friends."
"Anything else?" I raise a brow at Marcus.
"We messed around."
"Define messing around." I felt like a girl itching for gossip.
"In blatant terms? We fucked. Multiple times. And she sucked me off once. Want more detail cause' I can give it to you."
"Hell no!" I yelled. "That was plenty detail."
"You asked," Marcus smirked. "I'm gonna go start on those tacos now."
Krystal's POV
It was eight o' clock. Rosie and Cheyenne should be here any minute.
"Your guests are here!" My mother called from the parlor.
"Send them up!" I shouted back. I stepped back examining my room. Perfect.
The door opened and I turned to face them.
"Welcome!" I swept my arms for dramatic purposes.
"Oh em gee!" Rosie exclaimed.
My room had been turned into sleepover central. I cleared most of the floor space and laid down two of my most comfortable sleeping bags for them. There was a mini bar stocked with food and non-alcoholic beverages including popcorn, candy, chips, cookies and every kind of soda pop you can imagine. Mini lights had been strung up to make the room glow. My walk in closet was open displaying mannequins modeling dresses, one of which I would wear for homecoming.
"You're never too old for a sleepover." I winked at them as they stared open mouthed.
"Let's do makeovers!" Rosie ran over to my vanity.
"What's the point of a makeover if we're not going anywhere?" Cheyenne asked with a confused look on her face.
"Sweetie," I placed a hand on her shoulder. "A makeover is sleepover tradition."
"And I brought my Polaroid so we can take cute Tumblr pics!" Rosie looked positively giddy.
"Sit." I guided Cheyenne over to the chair. "Relax. You're going to homecoming with Sebastian right?"
"Yes."
"Let us work our magic so you know how to do your makeup for that night and surprise him."
"Alright." She agreed and while Rosie was rummaging through my cases of makeup I quietly asked her a question.
"Do you still work for my mom?"
"No, uh circumstances have changed." Her response was curt and I took it as a sign to drop the subject.
"But tell your mom thanks for hiring me. I'll be forever grateful."
"Sure."
"Got it!" Rosie produced a handful of products. I got to work on her face while Rosie worked on her hair.
"Voila!" I stepped back and let Cheyenne look in the mirror. Her mouth formed and o shape. Rosie snapped a picture.
"You look gorg!" She gushed.
Cheyenne already had good skin so I went light on the powder and gave her eyes a smoky midnight look. Winged eyeliner finished that off and for lipstick I chose a matte nude color. Rosie had somehow managed to wrestle her hair into an elegant curly up do.
"Here's a list of all the products I used. Make sure you get the exact products and not a ripoff or generic brand." I handed her a blue sticky note.
"This is pretty expensive stuff." She bit her lip.
"But look at the results!" I gestured toward her face. "Now let's move on."
We pigged out and watched chick flicks, did our nails, took lots of silly pictures, and chose my dress for homecoming. It was one in the morning before we called it a night. Rosie was the first to crash.
"Krystal," Cheyenne whispered from the floor. "Are you sleeping?"
"No."
"Tonight was fun. Thanks for inviting me."
"No problem. Hey I'm sorry for how I treated you in the past. You're actually...pretty cool."
She giggled. "Wow did you just compliment me?"
"Don't make me regret it."
"I'm not gonna lie, I had an agenda when I decided to come."
"And what would that be?"
"To find out more about you and Reese."
"Ah of course," I rolled over. "What do you want to know?"
"How'd you two meet? Officially I mean."
I took a deep breath. "It was the summer after sophomore year, right before we started this year actually....."
"Have fun at camp." I kissed Josh and hugged him. When he pulled away I was smiling like an idiot. I could never get enough of him.
"I'll be back before you know it." He said grabbing his suitcase.
"I'll be here, waiting." He gave me one last quick peck before throwing his luggage in the car. I stood on his front lawn and waved as his family drove off.
It was sweltering hot and not even my super cute floppy Sunhat or new Chanel shades were keeping me cool. My long sundress was sticking to my back and I could feel my skin being burned from the heat.
"There's not enough sunscreen in the world for this weather," I grumbled to myself. As I was passing the park I spotted a slushy stand and almost weeped in relief. An icy cold slushy sounded like heaven right about now.
The line was surprisingly long but nevertheless I took my place at the end and waited. I'd been standing in line for forty five minutes before I was second in line to the window. I dug in my purse to retrieve my wallet and when I glanced back up a little boy who hadn't been in from of me before now was.
"Hey! No cutting!" I yelled and he turned around sticking his tongue out. I was fuming as the guy at the window gave him his slushy. When it was my turn he said, "Sorry we're out."
"You're out!?" I screeched. "I just stood in this heat for almost an hour and you're out?!"
He shrugged unapologetically and shut the window. People dispersed muttering and my gaze swung to the kid who had cut.
"You snooze you lose!" He laughed and took a slow sip of the ice cold drink.
It was hot. I was tired. I was cranky.
I snapped.
"Eat dirt you brat." I spat and smacked the plastic cup right out of his hands. His drink spilled onto the hot ground and immediately started evaporate.
"Bitch!" He screamed and ran off. I smiled satisfied.
"Wow. What a bully." A voice said. I whipped around. Reese Mendez, our schools notorious player stood behind me smirking.
"Mind your own business." I snapped and started to walk home. He followed.
"Seriously that was like the meanest thing ever. I knew you were a bitch but damn."
"If you're just going to insult me then buzz off!" My patience was non-existent at this point.
"How do you do it? Be so evil all the time?"
I spun around and he came to a abrupt stop. "You wanna know how I do it? Like this!" Then I shoved him and he stumbled back tripping over a fallen stick."
"Why don't you go fuck some whore and leave me alone!" Then I stormed off.
I yawned feeling my eyelids droop sleepily.
"Wow. That's one way you leave an impression on someone," Cheyenne said.
"Yeah, it is. I'll tell you more some other time." Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
Kimora's POV
I wiggled my freshly painted toenails and stood up stretching. It was a boring Saturday night for me. My phone beeped with a text.
Leesh: meet for a party?
Me: I'm a little tired of house parties
Leesh: not a house party. Actually more like a get together at the lake
Me: don't lie just say it's a lake party
Leesh: not lying it's really just going to be a few people this time
Me: 😑
Leesh: I swear
Me: fine I'll meet you there in twenty
Leesh: c ya
I put on my swimsuit and slipped on a pair of shorts and tank. Then I grabbed my keys and headed downstairs.
"Bye I'm going out." I called to my parents.
"At this hour!" My dad shouted. "Get back-"
I slammed the door and took off before he could literally drag me back inside. They grounded me but I wasn't going to let a little thing like that stop me.
Alicia hadn't been lying. There was only about ten people or so at the lake. Most people were chatting or taking a midnight swim. A fire was going strong.
The first person I ran into was Reese.
"You're here?" I asked.
"Duh. I've know these people longer than you. And I know about you and Marcus."
"He told you?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Yep. We're bros, we don't hide shit from each other."
"Whatever." I scanned the lake for Alicia.
"I really don't care if you're messing with him or not. It's yours pussy, your life."
"Ok gross," I rolled my eyes.
"Just saying."
"I think you've said enough." I spotted Alicia and made my way over to her.
"Hey babe," she hugged me. "Have a drink." She handed me a can of beer.
"Thanks," I sipped my drink, just observing.
"Wanna swim?" I asked pouring the rest of my drink in the grass. I didn't want to get too drunk tonight.
"Sure." She agreed and we stripped down to our bikinis. We held hands and ran into the frigid water while laughing.
"It's so cold!" My teeth were chattering.
"Go under, it helps you get used to the water more faster." She disappeared beneath the surface and I followed. More people got into the water.
I popped back up to get some air but something grabbed my leg dragging me down. My scream was cut short as I started swallowing water. Desperately I fought to break free when all of a sudden I was released. I coughed wildly and did a three-sixty looking for the culprit.
Marcus was a few paces away laughing. "You should've seen your face, it was hilarious!"
I jumped on him and used all my weight to push him under water. He grabbed me and pulled me off. Now he was the one coughing up water.
"How does it feel?" I asked smugly.
"Refreshing." He shook his head causing water droplets to fly everywhere. His hair hung sexily over his forehead.
"Ugh." I turned to go but his arms coiled around my waist.
"Where do you think your going?"
"Away from you. Now let go please."
"Why should I?"
"If you want another hookup the answer is no."
"That's no fun." He whispered in my ear and bit it.
"Marcus stop," I tried to say it firmly but it came out sounding more like a soft plea.
His hands trailed up my abdomen and he spun me around crushing his lips against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he hoisted me up so my legs were wrapped around his waist. His tongue entered my moth exploring and memorizing every inch of it.
"Everyone gather around the campfire!" Someone yelled from shore and Marcus pulled back.
"Sorry. None for you tonight." I untangled myself from him and swam to shore, Marcus following. As we made our way to the bonfire he pinched my ass and I flipped him off.
"What're we doing?" I questioned taking a seat next to Alicia.
"We're playing never have I ever," a platinum blonde girl announced. "Johnny pass out the cups. You all know the rules right?"
"Yes," We all chorused.
"Ok who wants to start?"
"Never have I ever stolen before." Alicia spoke and then took a drink along with most of the circle. My cup remained in my hand. Then I remembered stealing from Marcus and lifted the cup to my lips.
"Never have I ever flashed someone!"
"Never have I ever had a threesome!"
"Never have I ever broken a bone!"
Not surprisingly my cup remained mostly full. Platinum stood up swaying.
"Pause the game, I have to make a phone call," she slurred. We chatted as she went over to some bushes nearby for privacy. Not a minute later she screamed loudly.
"What the-" We all rushed up to where she stood shaking. There, hidden in the bushes was a dead body. It looked like he'd been there for some time as his body was already decomposing and bugs crawled over his skin.
Alicia's face turned green. Reese looked like he'd seen a ghost and stumbled back. Everyone was freaking out.
"Do you know who it was?" Someone asked.
"A homeless person by the looks of it," Marcus examined the scene.
The stench was overwhelming and my stomach started to churn. "I think I'm gonna be sick," I croaked and threw up near a tree.
"Should we call the police?"
"Yeah and then let's book it before they get here."
Our group scattered and I leaned on Alicia for support as we got into a car with Reese. It was silent the entire drive back.
Sebastian's POV
"You're such a boy," Cheyenne examined my room.
"Do not judge me for my possessions, judge me for me."
"Is that even a real quote?"
I shrugged and she examined one of my football posters. "Who is this?" She asked turning to me. I gasped.
"How can you not know that is? That's freaking Eli Manning! One of the best football players ever!"
"Sorry, I don't watch football much," she rolled her eyes, running a hand over my trophies.
"How long have you been playing?"
"Since I was a kid. My mom told me that when I first learned to walk I picked up my dad's football and started playing with it. She said if someone ever tried to take it from me I would
scream then cry."
"So passionate," she laughed.
"Yeah she signed me up for all those pewee football teams when I was old enough."
"I wish I knew what I wanted to do," she sighed flopping down on my bed. "I have no idea if I even want to go to college after high school."
"Well what do you like to do?" I laid down next to her.
"I don't know."
"At least you can put bossy on your resume," I joked and she smacked me with a pillow.
"Very funny. But seriously, we're gonna be seniors next year and soon the counselors will be calling us in for college applications and to talk about our futures!"
"I say don't sweat it. Sometimes the answer is closer than you think," I tucked a stray hair behind her ear.
"There you go with your wisdom," she mumbled into the pillow. "I hate you."
"Awwww no you don't," I pried the pillow from her hands. "You like me."
"Wow thanks for stating the obvious." She blushed and then we stared at each other. My eyes fell on her slightly parted mouth and I leaned in, capturing her lips. She immediately responded and pulled me closer causing me to brace my weight on both hands over her.
I gently nipped her lip and her mouth opened more letting my tongue dive in. She tasted like freshly sliced strawberries and a hint of sugar. I kissed the corner of her mouth and worked my way done to her collarbone and she gave a breathy moan. Her hands trailed down to the bottom of my shirt and she tugged it up. I helped her remove it and them we continued to kiss feverishly. Her nails raked down my back and up my chest and I could feel myself getting dangerously hard.
I should probably stop before this goes to far. But she's way too irresistible.
I sat up pulling Cheyenne up with me and she placed kisses across my shoulder. Then she surprised me by pulling her own shirt off and dammit I'm a guy so my eyes zeroed in on her chest. I knew she had a rack on her but seeing it this close was much different.
I laid her back down and trailed my lips down her chest up until I reached her cleavage. She whimpered beneath me as I slowly reached for the clasp. Then I paused.
What if she didn't want me too? What if she got uncomfortable or accused me of going too fast?
"It's ok," she whispered sensing my hesitation.
I sighed in relief and started to unclasp it. Then I pulled it off and stared. And stared and stared because fuck me she had the best tits I'd ever seen. She folded her arms across them and looked away.
"Don't," I turned her face toward mine. "Don't ever be ashamed in front of me. Your body is beautiful."
I kissed her softly and she relaxed again. I kissed the top of her breasts then took a nipple into my mouth. She bucked beneath me.
"Sebastian," she moaned clawing at my back. I swirled my tongue around and around and when I glanced back up her face was flushed and her eyes were closed in ecstasy.
"You look so sexy," I murmured moving to the other breast. Just then a loud knock sounded at my door.
Cheyenne screamed and dove under the covers and I toppled off the bed in surprise.
"Sebastian honey it's me. Is Cheyenne staying over for dinner?"
I stood up and looked down at my raging hard on. I could not open the door like this.
"No," I replied my voice strained.
"Ok," her footsteps faded away. Cheyenne peeked from under the covers.
"Is she gone?"
"Yeah," I ran a hand through my hair. Cheyenne snorted then started giggling hysterically.
"You think this is funny?" I looked at her in amusement.
She nodded, unable to speak through her laughter. I sat down next to her.
"How about we just skip dinner and go straight to dessert?" I wiggled my
eyebrows and she pushed me off the bed.
"Not a chance."
Soooooooo super long and much better chapter to make up for my last lameeeeeee update.
