Jungkook shivered as he sat on the cold picnic table next to Taehyung, not used to the chill of the early morning. The sun was just beginning to climb over the walls of the camp, and the teenagers were only half awake, Tae still wrapped in his fluffy blanket and Kook's brown hair a frizzy mess. They weren't sure how their Hyungs were running around and working in the early cold, but they weren't complaining either. Jisung was in the pantry with Jeongin grabbing enough food for the four of them, while Chan, Seungmin, and Minho were mapping out the best route, sitting in the bed of the truck they were going to take. According to Seungmin, the best way to get there by car was the highway, but Minho had gone through the towns and knew the way through them.
As the older guys were talking, Taehyung's hand came from under his blanket, hiding a small piece of what looked like deer jerky in his hand. He gave it to Jungkook, who smiled. He was surprised to see some food out of a can. "Have a safe trip, kid. Don't die." Tae smiled back, looking at Jungkook playfully. The two had known each other for just over a decade, and were close even before the turn.
"Kid?" The younger challenged, "I'm not even two years younger than you, and that makes me a kid? What does that make you?"
Tae smirked, ruffling the boy's hair, "It makes me a man. You're still only 15, you know you'll always be a kid to me, Kookie." The three around the map finally jumped out of the truck bed, Chan looking worried but saying nothing. Seungmin jumped in the drivers seat, and Minho in the passenger's. Chan climbed to the top of the wall, ready to open the door.
"Han Jisung! Come on, mate, its go time!" Chan called, the blonde running out of the pantry a moment later with a large camping backpack, no doubt full of canned vegetables, soup, and dried meat. Jungkook hopped up just in time to catch the bag as it was thrown at him. Jisung hopped in the bed of the trunk, soon followed by Jungkook. Jisung, out of breath, managed to breathe a quick 'Sup, Kid?', Kook just nodding and looking down shyly. Jisung was somewhat of his idol aside from Taehyung. Speaking of Tae, the teen watched from his seat on the table, still sitting with his blanket around him. When they made eye contact though, he stood up and waved to Kook, walking out from under the tarp and into the rising sun, his faded red hair now looking a dark crimson. The younger waved back with a small smile. 'This will be fun...' Jungkook thought, giggling to himself a bit, 'Especially with Seungmin driving....'
