The morning rays filled the air with hope. Sanskar got the breakfast and clothes packed by the servants for Khushi. 

"Abhay you don't need to come", saying which Sanskar stopped Abhay before leaving.

"Don't worry Sanskar, I am coping up with it", replied Abhay with an assuring smile.

"That's like my boy", saying which Sanskar side hugged Abhay and they both started to the hospital. On their way, Sanskar got a call from Khushi which he answered immediately.

"Sanskar", hearing her shaky voice, Sanskar stopped the car preparing his mind to hear the worst.

"Sanskar, Arnav ji woke up", said Khushi with happy tears and it took five minutes for Sanskar and Abhay to calm their racing hearts comprehending the good news.

"We will be there in ten minutes bhabhi", saying which Sanskar disconnected the call and raced the car towards the hospital.

As they entered Arnav's room, the doctor was saying: "It was good that Mr. Raizada woke up within twenty-four hours. Now he is out of danger but would need good rest for a week".

"Sure doctor, thank you", smiled Khushi and the doctor left for his rounds while Sanskar and Abhay hugged Arnav making sure that they are not putting weight on him.

"Not fair bhai, how can you scare us like this?", complained Abhay with a pout.

Arnav smiled looking at his three lifelines beaming at him with happy tears. He thanked God  and prayed that these smiles should always reside on these innocent faces. Though they are capable of running companies with thousands of employees, still they are his kids and they need him.

In Kolkata, Swara decided to go back to her office to keep her mind diverted. So she got ready and was on her way when she saw a van in which a girl was struggling to get out of the grip from two men who were trying to pull her back not wanting to catch much attention. The vehicle was riding away from the traffic and instantly Swara decided to follow the van.

The van stopped in a secluded place and Swara stopped way behind it scanning the entire place to see whether she could get any help but then there wasn't a single soul in the near vicinity. In her quest, she didn't notice one of the men coming towards her. He grabbed her hand and pulled her in along with the girl they kidnapped. He was so strong for her to protest. They dragged both the girls into a room where another man was sitting on the couch enjoying his morning drink.

"Welcome Piya", he greeted without turning towards them.

"Why are you doing this Vishal? What do you get hurting Abhay?", shouted Piya trying to get away from the tight grips of the two men holding her by hands.

"Self satisfaction", Vishal replied with a sadistic smile and turned towards them only to get startled looking at another girl.

"Who is she?", asked Vishal pointing at Swara who was standing all silent as she was trying to understand what was going on because she remembered Sanskar saying about Vishal and now her mind connected the dots and she understood that Piya did not leave Abhay with her will.

"Boss, she was following us all through the way. We tried a lot to sidetrack her, but she digged her own grave", replied one of the men with a smile.

"Ofoo, don't worry girls, I don't harm women. But I am afraid, you would be kept captive for few days until my work is done. Later I will be out of this country and you would be out of this place", said Vishal as if he was doing a big favor to them.

"I wouldn't have taken this step if you (pointing towards Piya) wouldn't have disobeyed me. You shouldn't have called Sanskar today morning Piya, as luck was in my favor, his mobile was not reachable at that time. If not all my plan would have been spoiled because of your silly mistake", said Vishal, anger evident in his voice. 

Turning towards Swara he continued: "And you shouldn't have poked your nose in the matters that don't concern you. That would only get you into trouble and not everyone would be as nice as me who wouldn't touch two helpless girls who are way too beautiful"

Though his words were menacing, he never came near them nor ordered his men to hurt them. So, Swara started working her mind to kill some time until help comes their way. 

"Look Mr. whoever you might be, I can understand you are a coward as you are holding a woman captive to get your things done. If you are a man, go fight face to face", provoked Swara intending to get more information from him as of why he is doing this.

"You call me coward", shouted Vishal throwing the chair which is nearby.

"Do you know the pain of losing your mother at the age of ten who worked day and night just to give you two meals a day? Do you know how it would be to grow up sleeping on the footpaths? Do you know how society treats a child who is illegitimate?", shouted Vishal glaring at Swara.

Looking at his eyes which turned red with rage, Swara budged a little but didn't break her eye contact as she didn't want him to know that she is afraid.

"What is it to do with Abhay?", asked Swara.

"Abhay Raichand", smirked Vishal. "is not the only heir of Raichand's", but he stopped abruptly looking at her suspiciously. 

"Do you know him?", asked Vishal for which Swara nodded in yes.

"I am Sanskar's girlfriend", replied Swara.

"He sent you here", panicked Vishal.

"No, it was by accident I saw her in the van. I don't even know that she is Piya", replied Swara looking at Piya who was looking at her in surprise. Right from the beginning Piya was wondering how this girl is having so much courage to follow the van when most of the people just ignored looking at the knives in the hands of the goons and even now she is standing strong and talking to her captor just like a friend.

In all this, no one noticed four policemen surrounding the building. Within no time the goons were down shocking Vishal to the core. In panic he tried to grab Piya but Swara pulled her out of the way at the right time and Vishal landed himself directly into the inspector's hands. 

"Leave me, I haven't done anything...leave me", shouted Vishal trying to get away from the inspector.

"Oh so you mean the girls are here on their will?", asked Inspector handcuffing him.

"No but I didn't harm them. Look at them they are perfectly fine", again shouted Vishal in rage as all his plans have been spoiled.

"Still, this comes under kidnapping case", saying which the inspector turned towards Swara and appreciated her for her presence of mind.

"Good that you called us before following them and also your doubt about the vehicle number to be fake and asking us to track your phone instead was brilliant because you were right, the number plate on the van is not registered and we wouldn't have found this place without your help", said the inspector with a professional smile.

"No problem inspector. It was my responsibilty and thanks to you too for coming at right time, if not, I would have regretted a lot if something could have happened to her because now she is family", smiled Swara looking at Piya for which Piya reciprocated.

"And Swara, seriously how come trouble always finds its way to you?", chuckled the inspector as he is always proud of her because she helped them many times in finding such goons by helping the needy.

"I am glad it does inspector. I love being of some help to anyone who needs it", replied Swara with a bright smile.

"You always inspire me Swara and you both would have to stay in town for the next three to four days because we need to complete few formalities and investigations. For now we are booking kidnapping case on him", said inspector before leaving with all his men while Swara took Piya near her Scooty.    

"Are you alright Piya? Should we visit the hospital?", asked Swara looking at Piya to make sure that she was alright.

"No Swara, I am fine. How about you?", asked Piya being concerned.

"Absolutely perfect", beamed Swara.

"Where is your phone by the way?", asked Piya as she didn't find any in Swara's hand.

"I have a secret pocket in my trouser", saying which Swara pulled her phone out from a slit which was made to the left side of her pant in such a way that no one can see it if she wore a long top.

"Brilliant", smiled Piya walking along with Swara. Talking with each other all about their lives, Piya guided Swara to her house and insisted her to come in. Swara obliged and after meeting with Piya's parents, they both settled down in Piya's room.

And just then Swara received a call from Sanskar and she answered immediately.

"Swara, Arnav bhai woke up and the doctor said he will be fine in a week", came in Sanskar's cheerful voice. Hearing which Swara's face got delighted with happiness and relief.

"Thank God Sanskar, I am so happy and guess what even I have a good news for you", squealed Swara with excitement so loudly that everyone in the hospital room heard her.

"What? you are so fast Sanskar, you should have waited till marriage", shouted Abhay only to get hit by Khushi as she signaled him to shut his mouth.

"Ignore him Swara", Sanskar gritted his teeth glaring at Abhay. But Swara's cheeks already turned red confusing Piya. Composing herself, Swara switched on the speaker after telling Piya that Arnav bhai is fine making her sigh in relief.

"Sanskar, I am with Piya", hearing which even Sanskar switched on the speaker and went towrads Arnav's bed.

"How do you know her?", asked Sanskar and they both narrated today's incident shocking everyone.

"Girls, are you alright?", asked Khushi getting worried.

 "We are fine bhabhi", replied both Swara and Piya.

"Swara, you are really a firebrand", exclaimed Abhay with a chuckle.

"And that is one thing which made me fall for her", said Sanskar smiling.

"But you have to be careful girl. All days won't be the same", said Khushi being disappointed with the boys as she expected Sanskar to at least scold his would be wife for doing such an adventure.

"Bhabhi, relax. I will be fine. How is Arnav bhai?", asked Swara diverting the attention from her.

"I am fine Swara", came in Arnav's feable voice.

"Bhai you are not allowed to speak", said Abhay going near Arnav with worry visible on his face.

"Piya, how do you know Vishal?", asked Sanskar.

"Last week he came to me as a patient", started Piya.

Flashback

"Hello doctor, I am Vishal. I need a small favor"

"Yes Vishal, tell me what's your problem?", asked Piya with a warm smile.

"I couldn't sleep properly since the past 25 years waiting for one person's destruction and now it is possible only with your help", replied Vishal with a smile.

"Sorry?", asked Piya not getting what he meant.

"Listen doctor, you have to break up with Abhay", replied Vishal with the same composure.

"What nonsense?", shouted Piya standing up from her seat.

"Relax, if you want to see him and the people around him alive, then do as I say", saying which Vishal showed few videos of Raichand mansion and Maheshwari mansion where he planted few men around it.

"Bullshit, I am calling police right now", said Piya picking up her phone.

"Fine, I will inform my men to finish off everyone", said Vishal taking his mobile from his pocket.

"No wait, why are you doing this?", asked Piya not understanding what to do.

"Look Piya, I am not so cruel. I don't want to kill Abhay, I just want to see him in pain", replied Vishal getting up.

"You are a phsyco", shouted Piya.

"Thank you, I will take it as a compliment", replied Vishal with a smile.

"Please, don't do anything to them", requested Piya.

"It all depends on you madam and don't act smart, I have tapped all your phones and have my eyes on you all the time. And it would be good for everyone if you give me a good news soon", saying which Vishal left from there.

Flashback ends 

"I didn't have any other option Abhay, I had to do it. I am so sorry", saying which Piya burst into tears.

"Shhh...its okay Piya. Stop crying. I am not angry with you. I seriously wonder what have I done to get such hatred from someone whom I don't even know", said Abhay feeling really bad hearing that someone wanted his destruction.

"He is really out of his mind Abhay. I thought I would find out why he was doing it by agreeing to help him but when he agreed that he was behind Arnav bhai's accident, in actual intending to hurt Sanskar, I decided to come to you no matter what would be the consequences and as I came out of my house, they have kidnapped me", said Piya feeling sorry for not being of any help.

"Oh my God, how did we miss this? Arnav ji took Sanskar's car that day as his car has been taken for servicing", exclaimed Khushi widening her eyes.

"Thank God, it was me and not you", said Arnav only to earn glares from Sanskar.

"What does he mean by Abhay Raichand is not the only heir?", asked Abhay which was more like he was talking to himself trying to comprehend every information he heard.

But before anyone could reply, the nurse entered the room.

"Excuse me, we have to perform few tests to the patient. Can you all wait outside? And also the visiting hours end in ten minutes, so only one person can stay back", said the nurse getting busy in her work.

"We will talk to you later", said Sanskar before disconnecting the call.

"Piya, even I will leave. In all these, I forgot to inform my boss that I would be coming late to work", said Swara getting up from the bed.

"Okay Swara, inform me if the inspector contacts you regarding Vishal's case", said Piya hugging Swara.

All through the way Swara was lost in thoughts,

"Should I find out more information about this? Is Vishal step-brother of Abhay? I wish what I am thinking is wrong, but all he said sums up to this. But if Abhay gets to know about this, will he be able to take it? I feel its better to leave the things as they are rather than getting deeper into it. I wish there won't be any more problems"

"Why should boys have all the fun? If they have physical strength, even girls are smarter in out performing them, aren't they?", I just wanted to portray this through Swara's character. Hope you are not disappointed.
