The Fight Begins

Alex's POV

I looked around us and discovered that there was at least eight wolves coming closer. I quickly looked at my brother and at Janine. She looked scared. My brother on the other hand was happy. He had an evil grin all over his face.

My mate held tightly to my arm as the rogues continued to come closer. They stopped right behind Colin.

"Finally." He said. "Alex I will say this once again "You are nothing my dear brother. And what makes you think that you can take them?"

I didn't say anything out loud at first. 'Jacob can you reach out to Onyx? See if she is ok. Tell her we are surrounded by rogues.'

I felt Jacob reach out but didn't hear if he reached her or not. Instead I answered my brothers challenge.

"As I have said before. I know I will win." I know I was being cocky but that was Colin's weakness. He hated when someone thought they were better than him. It made him angry and when he was angry he messed up.

I saw his eyes going dark. I knew he was angry now. He honestly thought he was going to win. Maybe he would but I wasn't going to back down.

'She is awake. She said Janine has cuffed her. But left the key and a note. Please forgive me. Run and escape.' Jacob said.

'Janine isn't a part of this?' I asked slightly confused.

I felt Jacob shake his head 'I don't think so. I think she wants this to be over.'

'Quietly ask Janine.' I asked Jacob. I knew if I mind linked with her than Colin would know. But if Jacob asked it would be directly to her wolf.

Jacob reached out and soon the answer came back 'she thinks she is now disposable. She feels that Colin will kill her. She is willing to help us if we spare her.'

'Tell her I will. But I am not sure if my dad and mom will or Dr. Lowell and the king and queen.' I said with sympathy. If she helps I will try and get everyone to allow her back.

'She understands.' Jacob said.

I simply nodded.

Colin growled and suddenly the fight was on. It was nine against five. Colin and eight rogues. Alana, Walker, Janine, Aeliana and myself.

Esarosa is reunited

Esarosa's POV

I was so happy to see my mom. I ran straight to her and wrapped my arms around her. "Mom." I said crying.

She wrapped her arms around me and showered me with kisses. "Esarosa." She sniffed me. "You smell like blood."

Rebecca came up and bowed. "It isn't her blood. I am Rebecca."

My mom held out her hand "I am Jennie Lowell. I am Esarosa's adoptive mother."

Rebecca took her hand and shook it. She looked sad but happy at the same time.

"Please if you would follow me. I will try and answer all questions." Than she looked at the wolves. I recognized alpha Johnson, Zack and Jargon. They were alpha Johnson's personal body guards.

Rebecca turned red "I am so sorry. Where are my manners. You guys need cloths." She turned to the young boy who was standing ready to fight. "Scot can you and Corbin please get our guests cloths."

Both boys eased their stances and nodded their heads. They took off to the pack house and soon came back with cloths. They than showed the group of wolves where they could shift and dress.

I saw everyone come back. "Thank you." Alpha Johnson said to the boys

They both smiled and said "your welcome."

Alpha Johnson walked over to Rebecca and held out his hand "I am alpha Johnson. This is Jargon, Zack, Seth and Candice." He said pointing to each person.

Rebecca shook his hand and replied "I am Rebecca. I used to be the beta of this pack but things have changed. Please follow me and I will try and explain everything."

There was a deep growl and a grey and tan wolf came out. His fur was all raised on his hackles he was ready to fight for sure.

Rebecca came forward "Rob enough." Her tone was controlling but didn't seem to faze him. I decided I would try

"Rob ENOUGH." I said using my new found alpha tone. Instantly he faltered and whimpered.

Everyone looked at me. I shrugged. "I am the alpha now." I said.
