Aeliana's POV

Everything hurt. But I felt tingles in my hand. I looked over and saw white. 'What is going on?' I asked myself.

'That's Esarosa.' Onyx said. She was so happy to see our mate. But that was short lived. 'Something is wrong with her. she doesn't look good'

I gently lifted my other hand and touched the top of Esarosa's head. She bolted up and almost fell over.

I couldn't help but laugh. "I am sorry Esarosa." I said to her pouting face. I looked closely at her. She wasn't wearing her contacts anymore. Her eyes were a beautiful orange colour.

Her expression softened and than wrapped her arms as closely around me as possible. "I am so glad you are awake." She kissed my neck lightly. I was so surprised. I wrapped my arms around her.

"I am sorry for scaring you." I said. I had suppress a moan. But it felt so good to have her in my arms.

"Aeliana. We are mates right?" she asked me quietly, almost shyly.

I was shocked. Was our mate bond already getting stronger?

I smiled and moved my arm so I could lift her chin. I wanted to look into her eyes.

When I lifted her chin I saw she had been crying. That's why her voice was quiet.

I gently wiped the tears away. "Do you feel a tingly sensation when we touch?" I asked her.

She nodded her head than she said "and I .... I .... felt your pain."

'Onyx is that possible?'

'We aren't mated. I honestly don't know.' was Onyx's reply.

I didn't know what to say. But luckily Dr. Lowell came in. She was carrying a cup of hot chocolate. I could smell the sweetness.

"Aeliana you are awake. I will go get your parents. And another cup of hot chocolate" She said to me. She handed the one cup to Esarosa than quickly hurried off.

I was disappointed at the loss of contact with Esarosa. She had moved so she could hold her hot chocolate.

My parents and Dr. Lowell came in the room. My mom instantly came over and showered me in kisses. My dad brought me into a bear hug. "D..Ad ...ca...nt...bre...the...." I choked out.

"Sorry cupcake." He says letting me go a sheepish look on his face.

"You had us all worried." my mom said coming to stand next to my dad. Her hand was lightly on his arm. There was so much love there.

"I am sorry. I didn't know it was that bad of a fight. I didn't have time to shift." I replied.

I looked at Esarosa and she had a far away look. than she blinked and said "sorry I have to go." She leaned down and kissed me lightly on the lips.

Than she walked out.

I watched her walk away. A small smile playing on my lips and erotic images flashing threw my mind.

I heard someone clear their throat. I instantly blushed. I had forgotten that not only was my parents in my room but Esarosa's mom was also.

"You guys are mates aren't you?" my dad asked. He was smiling though it didn't seem to reach his eyes. I ignored it for now. I had a question to ask.

"Esarosa said she felt my pain. I thought only fully mated mates could feel the others pain? especially since we were not together?" I asked.

I watched everyone's reactions. They were all surprised. Except for Dr. Lowell.

"Well I think it has something to do with the type of wolf she is." Dr. Lowell replied. This cased all of us to look at her.

"What do you mean?" my mom asked.

"You will have to ask her or Rebecca." She said.

"Why Rebecca?" my dad asked.

I simply asked "who is Rebecca?"

No body said anything and a man and a woman came in. "Sorry for not coming earlier. A member of the pack just had pups. I am Dr. Reg Carlyle. And this is Dr. Sheryl Snider. Can we have everyone leave please."

I watched as everyone left the room. I wanted answers but I knew they would have to wait.

"We will be just outside." My mom said as her and dad left.

Dr. Lowell was about to leave until Dr. Carlyle said "Dr. Lowell Esarosa has asked for you to join her in the office."

"Ok." she replied than left.

~~~ Esarosa's POV ~~~

I had fallen asleep holding Aeliana's hand. I was so worried that I would loose her. I spent as much time as I could next to her. The funerals were over and Janine and the rogues were now apart of my pack.

There wasn't any fighting. Everyone accepted and respected me. I wasn't sure who to name as my betas and I was called because Rebecca had two young men fighting.

I got to them. "what seems to be the problem." both guys appeared to be my age.

"We each want to be a beta of yours." The one boy said.

"I haven't even thought about it. My mate is in the hospital. She nearly died and you two are fighting over who is going to be the next beta?" I asked my tone of voice rising slightly. I was a bit annoyed. This was all still new. I had been the Alpha a week maybe.

Both boys looked down at the floor. "Sorry Alpha. We should have more respect."

"It's alright. I am sorry for my tone. I shouldn't have snapped at you guys like that. and for now Rebecca is your beta still. She knows a lot about this pack and will be able to help you more. I am learning still."

Both boys nodded their heads.

"And I would like to learn your names."

"I am Kyle Snider. I am Dr. Snider's son." The taller boy said. He had light brown hair with ocean blue eyes. I realized he did look a lot like his mom.

"I am Jason Bleach." The other boy said. He had red hair and light grey eyes.

I held out my hand to each of them and said "it's nice to meet you both. I look forward to getting to know you both more. Now if we all are done here I would like to head back to my mates room."

"Of course Alpha. Sorry Alpha." The boys said together
